Hey whats going on SSA. I have made a couple of posts and I have learned a great deal of things on here. I have a long way to go and I know someone can help me get there. I am looking for 3 18" Fi Bl's to buy or trade for some things. I am just curious of what will pop up. I do not want the D2's or Stock Bl's. This is not an official posting just to see if something happens. I have one and it is the 09 series with a yellow dustcap. I need 3 more to scratch the subs off of my list. Please no BS or Post Dumping.

I'm thinking of going with a 15" Q for these, powered by a Sundown SAZ-1000D So I've been messing with the RE calculator and think I have come up with a couple of designs. I just want to make sure all the numbers are right on these and see some opinions on which one is better. I like the first one more, sub up port back, does that design output well? How do you make the horizontal and vertical 45's come together smoothly? Also, would the first box fit a 15" BL? I know the second one doesn't have the airspace for a BL which is another reason I like the first one. I'm a noob so bear with me. I would like to have some trunk space available after i put my box in. Interested in a ported box I really want the 15BL but i am afraid it'll take up to much trunk space but i can settle for a 12BL if i need too. If i choose to go with 12BL or the 15BL, what dimensions and tunning spec so i go with? I listen to old school rap, trance and a little bit of alternative rock. I have a Rockford Fosgate Punch P1000-1bd amplifier and I am looking for a good quality subwoofer. What would be the best 12" subwoofer for me to get for around 1000 watts rms if I am looking for sound quality with decent spl? I have a bassworx 12" ported subwoofer enclosure that is tuned at 42hz and is about 1.65 cu ft. I want to get an Fi Q 12" subwoofer but the recommended tuned frequency on it is between 28 and 33hz with a recommended minimum volume of 1.75 cu ft. I was wondering how much this would affect my subwoofers performance and its quality?

So i'm interested in purchasing one 12" BL subwoofer but don't know what to select for the options. It will be going into a 2008 Nissan Altima and being powered by a Clarion DPX1001.2 and the specs are: 250 watts RMS x 2 at 4 ohms 450 watts RMS x 2 at 2 ohms 500 watts RMS x 2 at 1 ohm 1,000 watts RMS at 2 ohms in bridged mode i am just wondering if someone could help me figure out what i would need to select for Hyper Pole, Cooling, Flatwind etc. This would be a daily driver and not spl, and pleas correct me if i'm wrong but would i need a dvc 2 ohm sub wired to 4 ohms and bridging it at the amp would bring it down to 2 ohms right? need anymore information, just let me kn…

Ok so i was wondering if anyone here can reccomend a 1ohm 1000w RMS mono amp to use with a 12" SSD? I chose BP power and copper coil for the options. Also i was wondering if there would be a difference between 1000w RMS @ 4 ohm and 1000w RMS @ 1 ohm. Right now its running 4ohm but the highs are not that loud. Lights dim more but its not as loud compared to lower notes.

I'm sure this has come up before, but I searched and didn't find anything. I'm designing my box to have 1.3cuft per speaker. What would change if I moved it up to 1.4 or 1.5? would it make much of a difference? Also while I'm here, for the BP power, the website says it "increase power handling from 200-500 Watts depending on the application. 
". In this application, being 1.3cuft sealed, would I be okay giving them 1300w? Thanks for any help.

I have a 2008 bl 15 w cooling and flatwind option on a us amps 2000x (2000w easily). Have had this setup for bout 9 months now running with no issues but it seems as of late that it just doesn't seem to be as accurate as it used to be. Also feels like I'm missing some punch. Being that I've been throwing a lot of power to it, possible that the soft parts properties changing from all the movement?

So right now i have a 15" Q in a 4 cu ft ported box... sometime late this year or early next year i was thinking of upgrading to either another Q so (2) 15" Fi Q's or (1) 18" Xcon? What do you guys think about this? I am willing to pretty much give up my whole trunk so basically i want some SQ but more focused on getting loud... i like the lows ALOT... i want enough SQ so i can listen to some real rap and underground stuff that has quicker fast hits so i want to be able to listen to stuff like immortal technique and be able for it to sound good... but want to listen to jeezy and be loud as chit... so basically compromise between the two but more focused toward being loud.…

This may not be directly about an Fi product but i didnt know where else to go to. Hope you guys dont mind...but i was thinking about upgarding to a better amp. I currently have an hifonics bxi1208 powering my 12'' Fi Q with Bp. I was thinking about an audioque 1200d. Would this amp be that much better? All my electrical is stock. My alt is a 130 amp. Thanks
