Alright. We all know i am always proposing new ideas for my future car. But I think I have my heart set on this. Money isn't really a problem, I am applying at a few local shops, and i have plenty of time to come up with my budget. My rough estimate is around $4000. Here goes: 4 - 12" BTL's 2 - Sundown 4500D's 4 - Powermaster D3100's 1/2 - HO alt's (Brand TBD) 4 - TB 6½" Speakers - Front/Back 2 pairs - Pioneer TS-T15 Tweets - A/B/C Pillars 1 - Sax 100.4 1 - Audiocontrol Epicenter Box: 8^3ft @ 30hz ________________________________________________________________ My biggest concern at this point, even with a proper enclosure, will 4 BTL's be able to breathe? My goal is high…

I received my Q12 last week and finally had sometime this weekend to install it. It's in a 1995 Ford Thunderbird in a ported enclosure tuned to 32hz. It's running off a cadence TXA1000D. Door speakers are Infinity Kappa 682.7 (6x8 2ways...i know, i know...haha) and those are running off of a RF P400.4...Got everything hooked up sunday afternoon and all I have to say is "wow." I've owned a couple of other systems before, but this Q takes them all...hands down. It gets LOUD and still, it doesnt lose ANY quality! My roommate has to cover his ears when i crank it...(hes a girl though...haha) I've shown a couple of kids on campus who have "5000 watt" systems in their car…

Met up with Edgar today at the Gigante flea market, and I got a chance to make a vid with the new phone finally. It really doesn't do justice but it's better than the last video I had!

I just wanted to give you guys a big for how killer my new BL 12 sounds. This is the first sub of this caliber I have ever purchased. It meets and then exceeds my expectations. Paired with my Sundown SAZ-1500D, it just blows me away

Ok so ups delivered my 2 15" btl's today and needless to say I was anxious to put them in. So I used a box that FC designed for me but the cutout is too big. I put them in anyways and get it sop hooked up. Yo I played the first song and I couldn't believe how loud it was! The 2 subs were just as loud as my 4 15's that I had in my previous setup! I can't believe how loud it is! And I was talking about getting 2 18's! To say the least I am very satisfied! I have to keep the gain down because my lights were dimming and also because the subs are leaking a lot of air because of the cutout! Just to imagine that these subs will be louder is amazing! Good looking out on all the…

Its been awhile since I had good pair of 18s, and I just ordered 2 FI BL 18s with cooling and flatwind. That was by far my best pair of subs I have owned in the past and decided to go back with what I have had the best luck with. Going in a 2012 scion xb

Finally after a few weeks of telling myself to buy it, I just did. I'm already way too anxious for this sub. It's going to be quite different from my last sub stage which was 4RE8's in a 6th order bandpass. Im going to be running this one at 2ohms off of an md2d. Right now I'm looking at running it a ported box of 4cuft at ~28 hz. Any other sugggestions? -Justin

I finally designed my box and had Digital Sound in Miami, FL put it together for me. I ripped out my back seat (sorry kids) and barely got this monster box in, lol. We had to take out the side panels and both front seats to get her in there. This is by far the loudest setup I have ever had (specs below). I just need to clean up the wiring a bit in the back and do a few cosmetic adjustments, but you can get the basic idea Hope you likey. 3 Fi Audio Q15 Box is 10.2 cuft Tuning is @ 32hz DC Auido PAI-2000.1 @ .75ohm HU: Soundstream VIR-7840bt Stinger Alt coming soon Fostgate mids n highs Evolution 125.4

Ok, I have owned quite a few subs in my quest to find the right one for me. I searched long and hard for a '05 XXX 12 and I finally got one powered by a tantrum 1200.1 in a 1.1 'ish cubic foot enclosure. I think it's suffocating though. It sounds good, I just think this sub was more suited for a larger sealed or ported only enclosure. For my vehicle I can only fit a small sealed enclosure, so I was thinking of going back to a Q12. I have a SSD12 with copper coils/BP but it's in my home theatre setup right now. Should I keep the XXX, because it is an awesome sub or go with a equally awesome sub the Q12 because it's better suited for my application? The vehicle is a 2002 …

Hello all, looking for some guidance .. I am considering purchasing 2 FiQ 10's and using a AQ 1200 D to power them.. I am unsure on the options. i am assuming dual 2 ??? I drive an Xterra so i am considering building a box that would fit behind the rear seats following the slanted contour (thin on top to larger on the bottom) with the amps attached to the back of the box... I figure 2 10's because it would look better than 1 but not sure if i need 2.. Any opinions, thoughts, box ideas would be more than welcome.. Definitly looking for SQ and not SPL. dave

I didnt know what to make the topic but u guys gotta see this. I plan on firing forward and came across this over at ROE and was shocked... Since by ear i am not going to hear low bass as good as if i fired back, and anything over 60hz is nonsense coming out of a sub to me anyway, am i reading that right? It sucks that they didn't have a BL in that test too but i am rather shocked at a comparison of the q to the btl with double the power difference. I'm still wanting a BL but i noticed according to this chart, right at Fs of the BTL, it drops its output by a noticeable amount. 10hz in either direction it picks it back up. I want a 10" bl but it resonates right around wh…
