hey everyone i'm looking to make an upgrade. i currently have 3 12's a crunch gp3000d pro amp which is suppose to be underrated at 3kw rms at 1ohm. i also have 0 gauge wiring a 300 amp alt fatmat throughout the entire vehicles i think two layers in some place but atleast one layer throughout the entire vehicle. i have an optima red top under the hood and a kinetic hc1800 in the back for the subs. i have a 1997 ford explorer sport (2 door) and i am interested in either 2 fi btl's 15's or 1 fi btl 18 n2 model i have enough space to run the 2 15's or the single 18 with no problem now my question is which would give more output. i love lows so im looking to have the box tune…

Right now someone figured out my box was 3.8 cubes at 31hz after disp. With that, a 15" BTL with no options and a Hifonics BXi2006D I hit a 141.7. That was my best score. I am trying to hit a 150 with this one sub. I am getting alot of different inputs on box sizes to use...and I know hitting a certain score has MANY varibles...but I figured to start off..a better box could help a good bit. It is in an extended cab truck, port up and sub up. I want pretty much SPL, but it is my DD. With a new box, I am still going to be listening to music. So I figured who better to come to for box advice then the people who make the sub.

I am currently running two Rockford T15's off a Rockford T20001at 4 ohms. I'm thinking about getting 2 15" Fi subs and run the amplifier at 2 ohms. What pair off 15" subs should I get, BL, Q's, or SSD's? Also what options should I get? Thanks

Well I got my 15Q today and man am i impressed just by the looks of it, cant wait to get it in my car and see what it does, anyways have a few questions. Should i have recieved a bill or invoice of some type in case it ever needs to be returned? All that was in the box was the sub a stick and a FI card, also is there a break in period on the sub its pretty stiff. i know not to pout it in and just crank it up all the way but was wondering what other people thought, thanks

I have emailed Fi a couple of times and havent gotten a response, I know they are ususally pretty busy up there so I figure I'll see what everyone here knows about this.. I currently have the original style 18" BTL and want another one, my sub has P.Chamfer, hixmax coil, 3rd mag, dual 1, and daily option.. can I get another one to match this one so I can run 2 of the same subs? or are they completely out of production.. I am aware the new BTL is probably better than the one I currently have but, I cant afford to buy 2 new ones .. Thanks for any help.......

okay on the fully loaded 18 inch btl what would be: peak to peak xmax rms power handling weight and what would be a good amp to run four of them or amps. i was lookin at 2 jbl crown amps the 8k watt ones @4 ohms would that be good. or should i do one per sub. well what would the experts do. i listen to rap and thats what will be played loud and long. so what amps would you put on them-brand,series,and wattage

I am pretty sure I will be running 4 Q's in my new setup. My big question....what are some good amps to match them up to. I was thinking about 2 amps allowing for 2 subs on one amp so if one amp died on me it would be cheaper to get a new amp. Here is what I was thinking so far: Kicker 2500's>>>allow about 1250 watts per Q (not sure how Kicker amps are, good price though ) RF 2000's>>>>>Love the look of these amps, but they are a little more costly. Sundown 3000>>>Afraid 1500 watts will be to much for a Q. Sexy amp though MTX Thunder Elite 4000>>>No clue at all about MTX, nice lookin amp, would have to run a 2 Ohm load. Any…

I'm wondering how long does it take to get a refund for an order. I want the driver but I can't wait any longer for it. As I have out of town business to attend to. So how long. Has any one ever had to wait to get a refund from FI before? So far that is the only part of my build missing and I already missed a local show because my driver is late. Can someone shine some like here. Thanks

I decided to change my set-up. I want to build a forth order bandpass for my two FI SSD 12"s. I think they are the 2008 model. I am putting in my 1995 Impala SS. I plan on porting it through the back deck. Can anyone help me with the numbers I need. Such as the air space volume for the sealed and ported areas. Also for the port (@ 35 hz). I wanted the box to be tuned to 35 hz. I'm trying to get the MOST out of these subs but with All the sound pushed into the cab and not rattling everything aound in my trunk By the way I will be powering them with a Audiopipe AP18001. And if anyone has done any thing similar in my same type car please post pics. Thanks in advance!…

I have looked up several different options to go with next, right now i have 1 bl 12" with 1 saz1500d. I am used to having just jl, kicker, or rockford stuff, so all this fi and sundown stuff is hard to make a decision. I dont want to have to run another 1500d really, can if really needed. How would 1 1500d run to ssd 18"s, ok, decent?

I thought I knew a good bit before about audio but after browsing this site for a few weeks, I have learned a lot and am continuing to learn more. I've been looking to upgrade my sub for a while now and after checking out some different brands I keep coming back to Fi. Here's what my setup consists of right now in my 04' Civic Ex Coupe: Kenwood KDC-X792 h/u (looking to upgrade too) Kicker 1/0 power cable to the trunk big 3 upgrade Kicker KI45 4 channel rca cable Kicker KI25 2 channel rca cable Kicker 08ZX650.4 2 sets Kicker 05RS65.2 components Kicker 08VS10L72 10" L7 AQ1200D Duralast Gold under the hood and a D…

hi im going to be buying 2 of these beasts for my 79 gmc stepside. there going in the bed & ported of course because there is no way in hell there going to fit in the cab. im looking around for amps to power these subs and am wondering what rms @ what ohm to get. i need to know what ohms to purchase the 2 subs dual 1 or dual 2 and what kind of amp. i was thinking about audioque 2200d because fi says the 18's rms is 2000 watts. would two of these amps do the trick or should i look for something else? thanks

Should I be taking it easy on my 2 brand new Bl's until they break in a little or does that not matter? My old setup seems like it put out more spl and it was less power. These do sound good I just need to tweak the settings more then before.I was running 2 RF T0 12's with 1000bdcp,Now I have the 2 fully loaded BL 12's dual 2 wired to 2 ohms at the 1500bdcp. If I bump the BL's like I was bumping my old subs is it going to hurt them since there stiff as shit? I don't wanna screw myself out of some new subs I just spent $800 on.
