Hey, I just recently purchased a 15Q from Fi, maybe like two months ago. It always worked flawlessly and sounded really great. The last few days the sub would cut in and out while a song was playing and it turns out a wire came undone on the inside of the box so i unscrewed the sub and put everything back together. Today I turned the music on and there was a wierd sort of popping sound on some of the notes when it played and it would only play some of the time. It sounds as if there is something inside the sub itself that is rattling. I checked all the wires about 50 damn times and made sure everthing was perfect. I hate to ask this question, but I need to for my own clarification. I have been seeing a lot of IB setups lately, both on this forum and also in magazines. I listen to almost all heavy rap. Would an IB be totally out of the question due to all the extreme bass? SHould I just stay with my 2 10" BL's that I am planning? I like the look of them and the fact they take up so little room, I just have never seen one perform and dont know how they stand. Sorry for any inconviences, but it would be nice to know.

I've seen a few different ways to wire a DVC sub in parallel. but which way is right? Which amp would you guys and girls use if you had a fully loaded 10" ssd????

I wanna go with a 15" For sure. Debating if i should run 1 or 2. I have a DLS A6 1200watts @ 1ohm. I would like a nice low end, maintain loudness but sound good at the same time. Daily driver, not competing etc.. Vented Application, truck install. I figure go with a single FI q 15" w/out bp power, and call it a day. Any opinions, would be great! BTW - i been trying to contact ficaraudio, past few days, for a shipping qoute! No response. If i can't get a qoute, i have to look elsewhere soon!

So I was checking out some more vids of systems today and being bored, and realized how many people have switched over to a woofer designed by Scott, mainly Fi. It seems everyday new videos are being broadcasted with Fi woofers tearing apart daily vehicles, along with competitions being won on local and championship levels. Hello everyone, new to posting on this site. I just ordered a ssd 12" and a AQ1200d. I can't wait! My last setup was a pioneer champion pro 12" and i have read so much great stuff about Fi. I hope you guys are right! I drive a 2001 Toyota Tacoma ext. cab so it should be pretty sweet. I'll be running it in a sealed box due to tight space and i like quick hits. I got it fully loaded with the H-Qts sealed option. I'm really looking forward to using Fi!

Hey everyone. i am new to the forum and just wanted to say hi to you all. I just ordered my first Q sub-woofer ever and I hope it is as good as people say. However, I went through the Paypal order process and have emailed Scott, but I did not get a reply back. Has anybody heard from him lately, I hope I just didn't throw 270 bucks into no mans land. Will be going into a 03 Civic sedan, and powered by a Ultimate T3-1000D (around 2000W RMS). 15" BL would have cooling, flatwind, and enclosure would be the following: 3.1 ft^3, 33hz, 43.5 in^2 of port 12" BTL would have cooling, HiXmCoil, and enclosure would be the following: 2.5 ft^3, 33hz, 37 in^2 of port I am wondering if the HiXmCoil would make up for the loss of surface area going from a 15 to a 12? Should I squeeze the 15 into a smaller box or give the 12 lots of room to breathe? I want to move as much air as possible but in a daily driver situation. Well i got my first 18in btl and all i can say is wow. definitely impressed with this baby and cant wait to order the second. Well i got rear ended the other day. And when I got hit, my subs slid backwards and into my amp rack. Luckily the only damage was a pretty effed up dustcap. its got some nasty cracks in it, and a hole about an inch in diameter. For now, I just slapped some good ol duct tape on it, But these are almost brand new and id like to keep em looking that way. I emailed Fi and they can send me a new dustcap, But I wouldnt know where to start in the replacement process. So if anyone can tell me how to go about replacing the dust cap, I would greatly appreciate it!

I just ordered an BL 18 and chose the universal option and the extreme lead option. I sent an email the other day asking about these two options and never got a response. Then after reading alittle on here i saw that they dont answer none order emails. And after reading on here i found out what they are and would like to change my order. Do you all think this would be possible. I have emailed the company, and i did just order the sub. I just caught wind that there is an IB specific line coming out. Will there be a 10" version available? Got any x-max or power handling numbers yet? I would just love to do three 10's IB so I could regain the use of my trunk. Thanks for any info.

Im looking into getting a 15 for daily use. I want it to be a daily pounder that sounds good also. i mostly listen to rap music. I got a memphis 1000D to run it and im looking at either the SSD or the Q, im on a budget so not sure which one i need with what options? Moeny wise which would be the best sub for what i am looking for? Only thin i know is it has to be a dual 2 ohm. help me out thanks
