Hey Scott and Nick whats up. I just received 1 of 2 subs that were ordered. UPS said that they dont have any movement on the 2nd sub so more than likely it was not shipped out. They told me to call u and find out if the sub was shipped out , i emailed you the tracking numbers. Tracking info. shows one pakage is delivered, while with the other, it still says billing information recieved.

So I bought my Fi Q 15" a little over a year ago but due to a DUI its only gotten about 4 months if that of playing time. I just got my license back so i was excited to finally get to hear it again. After only a couple of days it shot out a large cylindrical metal piece through the dustcap. The dust cap is fractured but the the insides of the sub look fine(coils and whatever else i can see). I've never seen this happen before in person or online. I have it in about a 4 cubic foot box tuned to 32 hz. Its on a USAmps XT2000D and definately not recieving full power for the sub and the gains are turned down. I didn't change anything in the setup since i last drove it a year a…

I just got my 12" Fi Q. This is my first quality subwoofer, hooray! Just a quick question. On both sides of voice coil, there are + and - springs, total of 4. This is dual 2 ohm, wiring down to 1 ohm load. It is my understanding to do this, you run positive wire to positive, from one coil to the other, then negative to negative. But then, what? How does it hook up to the enclosure. Do I run the wire in parallel from one side of sub to other, then run a wire from one side into the enclosure? I looked for diagrams, but none were clear exactly how I run the wire from sub to enclosure. Thanks in advance.

I've seen the new Sundown amp (3500d) and I plan on buying it but I need to know one thing before I do. Can a btl fully loaded handle 3500+ rms for long periods of time without blowing??? Also will I get a 3db increase since thats almost double the btls rated power or not????

I know this amp does not do rated power but I have ran it at half-ohm bridged before just fine but will it be enough to power two 15'' Q's sufficiently? I plan on using a 2.2 (before displacement) cubic foot per chamber sealed fully stuffed enclosure. Thanks Chris

I have an older XXX that needs a recone. I sent an email a week or so ago to get paying details for a recone, but I haven't been able to get a hold of anyone. It's a 12 inch, and my zip is 33155. But I also have no idea how to ship it without it getting damaged, was wondering if I can just pay to have you ship a box + the wooden crate or however you guys pack it, since I have no idea how to pack this thing myself.

I just had my highs and mids installed in the truck and now need a little low end. After getting my first pair of Q's from Fi, I'm a dedicated customer. BTW, they are still going strong, now in my cousin's Explorer. Anyway, my current setup is as follows: 2 Focal 165 KF 2 Focal 165CVX JL 450/4 I'm looking to get something that I can hide under the back seat. Here's what I was thinking: 1 10" SSD RF T500-1bd in this pre-fabbed box CRB07-110/112 LINK: http://www.subthump.com/crb07.htm it's the one at the bottom of the page One concern, magnets must be no more than 6.25" in diameter...will that be an issue with the SSD? I'm a firm believer in building my own boxes, but w…

this will be my first time buying fi products. i have a 2004 gmc denali that i want to fill. im pretty much asking what would you choose between the 2? they will be seeing the same amount of power 3000 rms per btl or 1500 per bl plus whatever more my saz-3000 will put out. and yes i do have plenty of electrical to handle these i know the 8 bl's would have alot more cone area but would it be noticeable? what would you choose? any input is appreciated

Ok, I need some help. I've decided to get an 18" Fi BTL for my expedition. I have no idea what to power it with.....Sundown? Kicker? what?.... I'm kinda indecisive on the amp because I know its recommended for around 1500rms , but we all know they can handle more. And I want more Safely, do you think I should go with some 3000 watt amp - such as the Saz-300d ? Also, with a 150amp alternator, can I get by with two yellow top batteries? Or should I get a 240amp alternator? And if I do get the upgraded alternator, will I still need a battery in the rear?

I have a dilemma of which set-up to go with. I already have all the stuff, except batteries and maybe a high output alternator if I was to need one. I need the extra space in my trunk, 96 honda accord coupe, for battery/batteries/mid-range amp, and space for me to get to my spare tire. So I can only use about half the space for the box. I bought the two 12" SSD subs because it was a good deal but then right after I bought them, I also found a good deal on two 10" SSD subs. But here it is: Two 12" SSD subs, bp option, copper coils, D2, with an IA20.1 amp at .5 ohm in a minimal recommended box of about 3.5cu ft. tuned to 34hz. I would probably get a deka 9a31 and maybe a hi…

this is a fi comparison thread to mainstream subs i was thinking this would be a good idea for people who are coming from mainstream products (like me) to fi's line of products this will help alot of people make up there minds on which fi sub best suits them. im going to need lots of help on this (: FI SSD- ... The SSD Series of subwoofers is our all around daily sub. Double stack magnets with a heavily bumped T-yoke allow clearance for high excursion. Along with pair of heavy weaved progressive spiders, a multiplayer foam surround attached to a fiber impregnated kraft pulp cone helps keep things under control in high power applications. A 3

I have a Memphis 16-mc2000d mojo amp. I also have a FI BTL loaded This sub is dual 2 ohm. I wired it in series so the amp sees 4 ohms. I have it in a 7.5 cube box tuned to 40HZ However when I really get this thing kicking it sounds like it cannot handle the power. Any suggestions, I know this sub can take all that this amp can give it???

i need fi's phone number. ups says it delivered its package at my front door at 12:40pm. well, it wasnt or somebody has stolen the package from my step. i think it was delivered to the wrong house, or the hoodlums that live next door saw i wasnt home and stole the package. b/c its kinda hard to steal a package carrying 2 12" subs in broad daylight. i ordered 2 fi q 12's. im out $500+!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! fi's site only has the sale's e-mail and last time i e-mailed it they said they were recieving mass e-mails so they might respond. i need fi to contact ups so they can start an investigation. i hope fi is willing to do this. this is very disheartening,…
