I searched but didn't get anything, maybe I didnt search the right thing. I've finally snagged a new engine for my prelude so, she'll be running again and I'm building a new system. I've decided on 2x12 Q's and I'm curious to if a Brutus 2000W mono can power two? I've always been curious how exactly subs share power to one amp? Do they see the same power or is it cut in half? or what? I can get the Brutus cheap at work so I don't know If I should run one 2000W or 2x1200W amps. So far the build will include Polk momo components and (not my choice of speakers but not too bad when you can get them for $130) Hifonics Zeus 4 channel Polk DB 6.5 Rears Probobly a Pioneer DEH690…

Here my Review of the 18" BL. When i first seen the UPS guy drive up, i was very anxious. i actually ran up to the truck.It was Very funny to see the UPS Guys Struggle with the box. I Knew the box would be big, But this Box is very huge as you can see in the picture. MY first look i was like WTF? So i managed to get the box in my room i immediately Pulled out my knife to open the box. Once i opened the box i seen the Sub in the Plastic MY eyes GREW!!!! ive never seen an sub so big! even my mom was shocked. once i pulled the sub out the box i were even more amazed. the pictures on the website just doesnt give u any justice to how this sub really look in reality. it's way b…

Well i got rear ended the other day. And when I got hit, my subs slid backwards and into my amp rack. Luckily the only damage was a pretty effed up dustcap. its got some nasty cracks in it, and a hole about an inch in diameter. For now, I just slapped some good ol duct tape on it, But these are almost brand new and id like to keep em looking that way. I emailed Fi and they can send me a new dustcap, But I wouldnt know where to start in the replacement process. So if anyone can tell me how to go about replacing the dust cap, I would greatly appreciate it!

I was just curious if anyone had a High resolution image of the Fi symbol. I'm considering getting a hat made and i cant find a big enough picture of the Fi Logo. or if anyone knows where i can get a fitted Fi hat that's cool too thanks

Im new to the site, currently have 2 12" pioneer champ series pro running off a cpt1-3200d power acoustik amp. 0 gauge stinger wire with all pioneer 5way door speakers + pioneer 3200dvd head unit. I know im going to need to upgrade my alt. and buy an capacitor as well. Im lookin to buy either one 15btl or 18btl to throw in with these 12s or 2 15s to replace them. Just looking for any good ideas on what sub to get, not worried about the $ either so let me know! thanks

hello, I have some questions about getting an 18 inch fi sub for everyday driving. I see that the Q line is built for SQ and has a hefty 27 mm xmax, but whats the real sound difference of a q 18 compared ssd 18s? and whats the freq response in a moderate sized enclosure for a Q 18? and does the 18s sound floppier than the 15s or do they have the same characteristics, but just move more air? Whats the magnet weight of the 18 Q? I know its a lot of questions HAha. oh and also what are the differences between Q and a BL that is customized for daily driving?

I have a single cab s10 and wana try out the ssd 10. Should I do ported or sealed and how much volume gives best potential. If ported where should I point the port? Floor, forward, ceiling

hey im brand new to building and i just had a few questions. i've been trying to read up and take in all the material i can get my hands into online. i have a 2000 honda cr-v ex and im looking at getting either the BL15 or the BL12. i wanted to see what everyone thought would be better for an suv. i would be putting it in a ported rectangle box. and it also seems i would want to get the dual 1ohm but what else would i get that is optional? sorry for being such a newb haha. any help is appreciated. i just wanna have all my info done before i buy and ship it ot my house back in the states so i can come back from iraq and install thanks!

My new bass race build for 2009 will consist of 4 x 18in Fi Q's with the BP Power option....either 4 x Mbquart Discus 1500's or a Hifonics XXV Goliath, Kinetik batteries and an xs power alternator.....its not pretty but it should hit the lows pretty well.... start of the resin... 2nd layer of 3/4in mdf added to top...

so i got my new btl 18 and i love it. I was not expecting it to have so much output but still keep its sound quality. Love it guys so keep doing what you do. So here is the box i built for it this last weekend. 7 cubes with disp tuned right round 34 htz. Most corners 45 with fiberglass with double baffle. The sub is ran off a Hifonics gx3000, and the set up is in a 1998 chevy astro... more 18s to come soon

Ok, im looking into get a pretty nice system, but i cant decide on which sub to get.. 1. new orion hcca 15" OR 2. 1 fi btl 18 was going to run them on a hifonics BXi 2607D at 1 ohm.. what you guys think, im kind pressed for money.

i have a kicker zx1000.1 which is rated at 1258 watts at 2ohms. and i was wondering if this will be plenty of power for a daily setup with only the pole chamfer on the sub, o and i listen to rap 99% of the time, so im thinkin that this will be fine, and im also leaning a little more towards the spl side over sq im goin to bulid a box soon for it, it will be 4cu. ft. @ 32hz, dont know the exact dimensios but i will know soon thanks

My friend has two SI MAG 12's and the same amp as I do, my question is, which sub are the mags more comperable to in output, the BL or the BTL (Both fully loaded) So would I have to go with the 2 BTL's to be louder or would the BL's match the mags? Thanks for the help =]

I haven't listened to many subs personally, but I want my system to be a lout louder than one 15" Mofo. My buddy has a 15" Mofo and it just doesn't impress me. I listen to mostly rap and hip hop and a little bit of rock. Below are the two setups I've been considering. 1) Two Dual 1 Ohm 12" Fi SSD's powered by Cadence ZRS-7500D.
