i am making an spl box and going to get into a few small comps this summer. i am going to tune the box to what ever my car is tuned to (not sure right now) the bigger the box will i get a higher number? i will probably end up making it a removable port so ill have something for street beat and for spl. SPL IS THE MOST IMPORTANT! so how many cuft? its an 18 BL fully loaded powered by a rockford power 1000.1 in a VW golf

I am looking at setting up a sub in my car. I have had systems in the past, but I'm used to just running subs from Crutchfield or Best Buy - just choose your size, amount of coils, and throw it in the car. I am looking for a single sub that can handle a lot of power, but still be very clean. I'm not looking to go to any shows or SPL competitions, I just want to enjoy it in my daily driver. My problem is I'm ignorant on reading the specs for the subs on Fi's product page - I don't know what they mean by Fs, Re, Qms, Qes, etc. I have an Elemental Designs Nine.1 amp that I am going to use. Ok, i'm wanting to get a 18inch sub thats loud and likes hitting lows with authority.. whats the difference between the ssd or q? will the ssd be louder than q?

Well i thought i was the only person at my school who knew bout FI subs....welll boy was i wrong...i was leavin after 3rd period to go to Pizza Hut for lunch(last day of school) and we get into this guy's truck and i see two FI 10s in the back in a truck box...so he turns them on...he didnt have the bass up...not impressive...then he turned them up and the bass up and my chest was vibrating....I am officially a believer in FI...i wont be getting BLs....but probably some SSDs...i was glad to finally hear those puppies....GREAT PRODUCTS! THEY GOT LOUD AND WERE PRETTY ACCURATE

Ight so my sub comes tommorow im excited! but one problem i havent got a box! got my amp but no box. any one have en good suggestions. i have a 1997 honda accord 4door. nice size trunk. its going to be a daily sub but i want it to be loud. anyone know any good demensions for a sedan?? email me [email protected] thanks

Here is a link to my box design. Have only ran a Lanzar 1200vibe on it so far as I am not convinced of tuning. Seems to get least cone motion at 33 hz when playing sine waves, so should be close. A bit inconclusive though. Actually the speaker is great, I am not impressed with the vehicle itself for bass. Does not sound as loud as my focus did with a lot less sub, but I know the focus probably loads bass a lot better. Box is 57w, 16.25 deep, and 20 high (6.5cf). The port is 14.75x7.5 and 28.75 long(area 110.6), firing up behind driver. The sub is facing forward on other side. fi audio bl 18'' with 4'' inch coil specs plz

So I was checking out some more vids of systems today and being bored, and realized how many people have switched over to a woofer designed by Scott, mainly Fi. It seems everyday new videos are being broadcasted with Fi woofers tearing apart daily vehicles, along with competitions being won on local and championship levels. My question to everyone on this forum is, "are we living during the era of the God of Bass?" Just begin to look around the web, I believe the victor is clear. Scott Atwell is the God of Bass. Well today I curiously clicked on my tracking number to see if the sub had shipped not only was it shipped out before the holiday, its in my damn town and will be here tomorrow..... I find this amazing being that Fi has been flooded with orders, Scott was gone, and I had added the BP option. I placed my order on the 26th and wasn't even expecting it till like next week.... Can I run 1500 RMS safely through a Fi Bl?

Can someone provide me specs including displacement and power handling? I need a price on recone as well for it will need it soon.

the box i have is 38 x 16.25 x 22 the port is 4.25 wide. i was thinking of getting two fi BL 12's. i currently have two alpine type r 12's. do you think this box will be big enough for the lack of space i have.

So i just recently bought 2 15in BL Dual 2 subs with the cooling package and i have 2 questions... 1) Now im usually pretty good with this buuuuuuut I'm guessing that Dual 2 means that i can only wire the subs at either 2 ohms or 4 ohms... 2) If I can only wire it down to 2 ohms what amp should i use? ive been looking and looking and the only amp that i could really find to push em was the Power Acoustiks 5500 BAMF series amp that puts out 2500w rms at 2ohms Any answers/ suggestions would be nice... Well it's time for a recone, beat the hell outta of my 15 d2 BL. Tensil leads snapped and burned up, oh well time to fix it lesson learned... I need some info on everything I need to order from Fi to get this done.. Like I said its a dual 2 ohm fully loaded..... I got mine back in February is mine a 2009 series? Can I recone it to a dual 1. Been Running a crenshendo 2250 @ 1 ohm...would I be better off going .5 if I can recone to dual 1?.. Thanks for all in put... Fi I must say you make a badass product yeah I clipped the living hell of this sub many many times , guess you can say I bottomed it out not 100 % sure but sounded like the dust cover smacking the vc 100's…

I hear all kinds of different installs while playing around on here. Funny thing, I don't really see to many people running a sealed setup, almost all ported and IB. Is there any reason for that? I honestly never heard a sealed setup and am curious.....

currently have 2 fosgate t1 12 and a bd 1000 had a kicker sx1250 and 2 l7 12s would 2 ssd 12 and the t1001bd louder than either of these? or are they about the same?

I know you guys do not check the forums very often, but I've sent a few emails and I know that you guys are super busy, so I just wanted to ask here of the off chance on of you checks it. I sent in my AA Havoc 15 to get repaired and got it back good as new (excellent service btw). But I was wondering if you could tell me exactly what went wrong with it, as we were never able to figure it out. Not just "mech issue" or "thermal issue," I am wondering what actually went wrong so I can make sure it doesn't happen again. Thanks for the great service and sub guys!
