Here my Review of the 18" BL. When i first seen the UPS guy drive up, i was very anxious. i actually ran up to the truck.It was Very funny to see the UPS Guys Struggle with the box. I Knew the box would be big, But this Box is very huge as you can see in the picture. MY first look i was like WTF? So i managed to get the box in my room i immediately Pulled out my knife to open the box. Once i opened the box i seen the Sub in the Plastic MY eyes GREW!!!! ive never seen an sub so big! even my mom was shocked. once i pulled the sub out the box i were even more amazed. the pictures on the website just doesnt give u any justice to how this sub really look in reality. it's way b…

I currently have 2 SSD 15s (with copper coils) in my jeep wrangler. I have them in a ported box but they just arn't loud enough for me. They're on a sundown 1500d and i have another sundown sitting around waiting to be used. I'm wondering if 4 SSD 15s in a sealed box would be louder than 2 in a ported box. I don't think i have enough space to put 4 in a ported box. Would 6 SSD 15s be noticeably louder than 4? With 2 i can give them more power than they can handle. With 4 they'll probably get about 750 rms each. With 6 they'll probably get about 500 rms each. Is the increase in cone area worth the decrease in power per woofer? I have 2 18 inch ssds dual 1 ohm with 2000 watts series parelell with the hifonics 2006d and when i turn it up i get a real strong glue smell. My gain is only just past half with the bass boost at 10 O' clock and i tried a couple different 1 ohm wiring diagrams, is it the smell of the box or are my coils burning?

currently have 2 fosgate t1 12 and a bd 1000 had a kicker sx1250 and 2 l7 12s would 2 ssd 12 and the t1001bd louder than either of these? or are they about the same?

hey, i am curious as to why some people want to recone one size sub with another size, like 18 reconed like a 15. I have seen numerous threads about this and am just very curious as to what this accomplishes in the end. Thanks

I've been researching car audio for awhile but just now became a member here but so far this is what i have in mind for my system.... - Fi 15" Q sealed in a custom box (dont know size yet.. 2.6?) $274 - Sundown SAE-1200D $310 - Alpine CDA-9886 $299 Then i need wires for my amp and my sub... i was thinking of getting THIS for my amp and then use THIS for my subwoofer? Does that work or should i do something else? Also i would need to buy some extra 0 Gauge wire to do the Big 3.... Anything else??? Thanx in advance, Alex

I'm wondering if anyone know if I have to upgrade anything if i just want to put a 12" FiQ in my trunk. I want to conserve trunk space so I'm not looking for a full out system just something for quality. Is this the right sub or should I get something else? Any suggestion on head units I been looking at pioneers and soud storm. Suggestion will be nice and ill look into them. I'm going to make a box and should be at about 1.8 Will post pictures when all done. Might not be up until later this year since im going on vacation :]. Switching from JBL to FI btw.

Im new to the site, currently have 2 12" pioneer champ series pro running off a cpt1-3200d power acoustik amp. 0 gauge stinger wire with all pioneer 5way door speakers + pioneer 3200dvd head unit. I know im going to need to upgrade my alt. and buy an capacitor as well. Im lookin to buy either one 15btl or 18btl to throw in with these 12s or 2 15s to replace them. Just looking for any good ideas on what sub to get, not worried about the $ either so let me know! thanks

Ok, im looking into get a pretty nice system, but i cant decide on which sub to get.. 1. new orion hcca 15" OR 2. 1 fi btl 18 was going to run them on a hifonics BXi 2607D at 1 ohm.. what you guys think, im kind pressed for money.

Hey guys, I've been doing a lot of research lately and I've come down to two setups that I'm really considering. I haven't listened to many subs personally, but I want my system to be a lout louder than one 15" Mofo. My buddy has a 15" Mofo and it just doesn't impress me. I listen to mostly rap and hip hop and a little bit of rock. Below are the two setups I've been considering. 1) Two Dual 1 Ohm 12" Fi SSD's powered by Cadence ZRS-7500D. So I was checking out some more vids of systems today and being bored, and realized how many people have switched over to a woofer designed by Scott, mainly Fi. It seems everyday new videos are being broadcasted with Fi woofers tearing apart daily vehicles, along with competitions being won on local and championship levels. went to chickens today after dropping my daughter off....there was a few people up there and of course they wanted a demo...........the boys from the Doja Clik were back up there too. Here is the system: Basic Kenwood deck (for now) feeding a US AMPS 6000. US AMPS 6000 feeding one BTL 15. For now, two runs of 0 gauge running back off a 250-300 amp alt feeding three Stinger 1700s. We want to do street beat under USACI rules which is pound the crap out of it for 30 seconds. The amp will not be ran at full tilt just so you guys know. I have a single cab s10 and wana try out the ssd 10. Should I do ported or sealed and how much volume gives best potential. If ported where should I point the port? Floor, forward, ceiling

Recently a memeber of ROE stated that someone (a dealer) was trying to sell him FI SSDs at an inflated price. Ill be out of the loop to a certian extent during 06/30 - 07/08. i need a little help with my set up. ok. I drive a 1998 cadillac deville, Phase linear uv8 head unit. Im getting a fully loaded 18" FI BTL and a rockfordfosgate T2000 amp. I have a yellow top under the hood. I will probly get a kicker 1/0 wiring kit or some other 1/0 wireing kit. What eles will i need??
