Hey, I'm planning on buying a 12'' Fi Q sub, and I was wondering what type of box would be good for me... I have a polk/momo c500.1. I was planning on getting the dual 1ohm to run 500rms to the sub. I'm looking for good SQ(obviously why I'm getting the Q) but I want to be able to feel that chit in my back if I want to, lol. It's going in an older 4DR BMW. Any help would be appreciated, thanks. Hey Yall well as the tital states i have 2 12" 07 Blz fully loaded with power upgrades cooling etc so how much rms exctly ish are they and what sort of power can i run into them i want to use 5000wrms (tru 5000wrms) with low gains or will i be better of using 2 2000wrms amps 1 to each sub i dont want to blow them but i dont know how much they will take any thoughts or suggestion thanks peeps bring the BASS xMplar

Hey guys, I just ordered my Image Dynamic components and now I'm starting to look into my subwoofer setup. I've narrowed it down to three choices. I listen to mostly rap and hip hop, but I do like alternative every now and then. HI im a newcomer to fi i wanted to know wich fi speaker would be best for me. i am a daily driver no competions and i listen to everything. I recently had a system set up in my xterra and i had purchased a dual 2ohm Fi Q 10" to be run by a cadence iA7 amp. The box was built to be stealth in my xterra and is a sealed and i was told built to house about 0.4cubic feet. So ive done a lot of searching around here at the forums looking for a good daily sub. I finally stumbled across FI's BL series and tried to do some research but just couldnt find the information that i was looking for. So i was looking into buying a BL15 with the pole chanfer and cooling options. So heres my questions. What would be a good size box and tuning frequency for higher output? Amp? And most importantly its output capabilities with spl oriented setup. everything will be going into a 93 Lincoln Town Car. any info would be greatly appreciated.

I had 2 15" alpine type r's and now im looking to get 2 15" FI BLs but i only have enough room to do them sealed... i cant find that extra room that pored boxes need. so can i keep 2 of them sealed? and how would they compare to the alpines?

Alright so heres my situation. I currently have 2 12"alpine type R's. They are dual 4ohms and i have them wired up at 1ohm on my mtx amp. My amp is a ta7801 which is advertised at 1200w rms at 1ohm. But the birth/dyno sheet with the amp is 1663rms. I am pretty happy with this setup but just like everone else, you always want something newer and louder. Well a buddy of mine just offered me 300 for just the subs and custom box i built. Considering i payed 115 a peice for the subs this really got me thinking. Well i've got my friend hooked on Fi. He wants to build a setup with my help. He is looking at a 12" or 15" Fi BL Powering it with a Directed 1100d, old model. He listens to mainly rap, and it will be placed in a Grand Am. What options should he look into with this amp power. I told him to just get it fully loaded if he ever plans to upgrade someday. Just need some opinion. His main concern is what size to go with, what is your opinion, I personally went with the 15, and love it.

i have a rockford fosgate t30001db a 200 amp alt. a yellow top in front and a kinetiks hc2400 battery in back ive been buyin piece by piece now its time for the subs i want to buy sum fi's but dont know wich ones... is this amp not good enough for 2 15" BTL's fully loaded?? if not what would yall suggest?? thanks for the support

First post go easy -just kidding you can be brutal if needed. I have been curious as to the Fi product and have always wanted to hear and see 3 12's across the rear seat opening of my mazda 3 06 there is enough room and the boxes are built. you build it they will come. I am not happy with my box size but well in range at 1.1 ish after displacement each, there are 3 seperate boxes it was the only way to get in. I may redo the boxes to achive more like 1.3-1.4 after displacement but unsure as of now. each sub will have a 1000 watt amp on each. i plan on crossing over the middle sub at 80hz range and the 2 outer subs at a lower hz to be determined maybe around 40-50 hz to c…
