Hi I just got my 12" BL and I'm starting the box for it. The box will be about 2.6 ft^3 and tuned to 33Hz I was just wondering if a 3" port would work or if i should use a 4" port. I'd like to know if there is any difference in SQ or output with a different diameter port.

Just need to know which port placement would be best

I ordered 2 Fi Q 12"s on June 6th and was wondering if there was someone to contact about how much longer it will take. I am not complaining because I understand that each of these are custom made and take time but I was just wondering if its going to be more like a week from now or possibly longer..

hey guys this is a great and informative site!. I have a 2003 mercury Grand marquis stock everything when it comes to electrical, system wise i have 2 15" kicker cvr's in a sealed box powered by a 1400.1d autotek amp, and truth be told i want to upgrade my subs. I was looking at the FI selection but cant figure out wich one best suits me i mostly listen to hip-hop and was wondering wich Fi sub would be louder then the cvr's i was thinking maybe a 1 15" in a ported box or maybe 1 12"? Thanks for your help n time oh BTW i have about $350 to spend thanks

the box i have is 38 x 16.25 x 22 the port is 4.25 wide. i was thinking of getting two fi BL 12's. i currently have two alpine type r 12's. do you think this box will be big enough for the lack of space i have.

Well i thought i was the only person at my school who knew bout FI subs....welll boy was i wrong...i was leavin after 3rd period to go to Pizza Hut for lunch(last day of school) and we get into this guy's truck and i see two FI 10s in the back in a truck box...so he turns them on...he didnt have the bass up...not impressive...then he turned them up and the bass up and my chest was vibrating....I am officially a believer in FI...i wont be getting BLs....but probably some SSDs...i was glad to finally hear those puppies....GREAT PRODUCTS! THEY GOT LOUD AND WERE PRETTY ACCURATE

I'm kinda a noob when it comes to all the technical stuff about subwoofers, so I'm looking for some help. I have a 96 Lexus ES300 and I want to put in a 15" Fi BL. The trunk is huge, but I think one should be enough for me since I would just be using it for daily use. After looking around on these forums, I think I will try to get a Sundown SAE-1200D or a SAZ-1500D. Can someone please tell me exactly what else would be needed to run this setup?? (i.e. best enclosure, wiring??) - I listen to mainly rap as well as some rock. Thanks

Ok guys background on my truck 2006 chevy trailblazer ss alpine pdx 1000/1 amp my subwoofer box is ported and has these specs 2.0 cu. ft. Total Volume Slot-port tuned @ 32Hz Double-Faced Front Baffle (For added woofer support!) 11" Round Cutout Dimensions (W x H x D): 30" x 13.5" x 16" I currently have a 12w6v2 jl subwoofer and would like something that would pound harder than that. also what does the folling things do next to the subwoofer Configure Speaker: Ohm: dual 1 dual 2 (ok i know this one) P Chamfer: no yes ??? Just wanted to let anyone who is on the fence about Fi and another brand, go with Fi. I got my two 15inch SSD's installed today and truely could not be happier with the sound/performance. Thanks to everybody at Fi for making an amazing product.

Ight so my sub comes tommorow im excited! but one problem i havent got a box! got my amp but no box. any one have en good suggestions. i have a 1997 honda accord 4door. nice size trunk. its going to be a daily sub but i want it to be loud. anyone know any good demensions for a sedan?? email me [email protected] thanks

I spoke with a delivery driver with UPS today. He told me that internet sales have increased by one billion dollars in the last couple weeks. He also told me that due to the increase of shipments from online purchases to expect shipping delays. In some neighborhoods you may see drivers delivering packages on golf carts. Everyone buying their christmas gifts early offline has increased shipments being handled substantially. Now you may get your items on time with no delay, but to expect them anyway because most shipments will be late due to the increase of volume in shipments. Now it will take even longer to get my fantastic Fi subwoofers I cant wait for them to get here…

Does anyone know if fi gives discounts on bulk order I need 6 more 18 bls to finish my build and im on a budget right like whos not. Subs are just 1/5 of my cost and tax time Here so I figure they are pretty busy since I havent recieve an email back from them.

Ok, i'm wanting to get a 18inch sub thats loud and likes hitting lows with authority.. whats the difference between the ssd or q? will the ssd be louder than q?

Whats going on, I'm need to this sound world but I was interested in 2 Fi BL12 which would be powered by a Sundown 1500D. Is that enough power to make the subs sound good? If not what do you recommend? It'll be in a dodge charger which has plenty of trunk space.

I just realized I ordered the extreme leads for my BL 18's that are intended for daily/bassrace, I ordered the subs about 2 days ago. Is it too late to get rid of the extreme leads, or is it not really going ot be an issue? PLEASE HELP. If there is somebody I can contact by phone please pm me with the info. Thanks.

Well after two weeks checking the post office everyday, it finally came lol. my first thoughts of this sub is my god it is huge...built like a tank. it is pretty damn heavy to say the least. i have never owned a sub larger than a 12" so as you can imagine i am very excited to have this. thanks for everything Scott and the rest of the guys at FI. Im not sure there is a car audio company out there that can match your customer service, and of course top notch build quality for an affordable price. here are the pics i took so far i will start a build thread over in the build log section too.
