Does anyone know how i get a recone kit for my SX? My buddy talked to someone on here and they said it was possible to recone it as an Fi. Im jus wondering how I go about getting one.

Would FI Recone parts work to recone an older (3-4 years old) XXX 15? possibility of getting 2 blown ones for basically free. Thanks !

hello, i have a couple questions about my setup. first thing is i have a cd player, an alpine cda-105 its a 2v rca out. now my question is would the alpine power pack that give 4+ volts through the RCA make my sub louder or increase performance in any way?? also i would like to kno if i should upgrade my electrical and if so what would you guys recommend to bring all my products to there full potential.. hes my setup , nothing special cd player : alpine cda-105 speakers : alpine type S all around amp : Power acoustik 3000DB Sub : Fi audio BL 15 fully loaded in i believe 3.5 cub. with a 31hz tune roughly wire : all monster cable , 0g power/ground & RCA thats about…

Initial impression is WOW! Haven't built my custom box yet but had an extra one that's 1.4cu ft so just plopped it in. Didn't change any settings on my amp but man, it sounds like there's 2 12s in there. NICE! Just did a search, looked up a few suggestions on what to set my amp at and will bump it when I go to school later. just spent $210 for a 12" BTL recone but i have a question.do i still have to pay to ship it to vegas? or am i supposed to recieve a label through email? i was probably better off just buying a new sub if im gonna be paying over $300..any answers?

Is a Fi 15 SSD louder then 2 alpine type R 12's?

So i have looked at the ported box design at the top of the page for an X 10". My question is how will this sub perform sealed in about .75ft^3? I know ill get more output out of the ported box and a little tighter bass from sealed. Is that 32hz tuning ideal for the X 10" I would assume since the fine folks at Fi posted that diagram and they know their speaker better than anyone. Once again im powering it off the back two channels of a JL J2 320.4 so around ~180 watts. Vehicle is a 1998 explorer so space isnt the issue at work here.

Purchased an fi btl sub off craigslist. long story short, the previous guy who owned it did a VERY bad recone job and the tinsel leads that go into the spider were shot and the wire that goes into the cone is too short and when the sub excursions, it simply rips out of the tinsel. I'm going to order a new recone kit but i cant figure out if theres a difference with the btl/n2/n3 and which model this is.. I deleted the guys number because I was so pissed at him that he would sell me something fked up. if anyone can help me figure out what it is or if theres anyway to tell please let me know asap!

Well I finally got my base 15" BTL metered. It was off an AC. 15" base BTL off a Hifonics BXi2006d. I hit a 140.7 my first run and a 141.1 my second. Box is around 5 cubes at 33. I was pretty happy .

So I am trying to decide between either a Q or a BL. I will be picking up either a 12 or a 15, depending on what kind of car I finally decide to get (is it sad that size of the trunk to fit a bigger box is actually a big factor in my decision?). So I am looking for something clean, but powerful. I listen mostly to rap, but I like to mix it up with some rock every now and again. All week I have been sitting around like a kid on Christmas eve and finally she arrived yesterday. I dropped her in and added a run of 2/0 welding wire as a ground for better voltage. I am soon to be adding a HO alt and finishing my big 3 off with better wire. Anywho all I can say is wowwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww this sub is loud as hell. First setup I had that really hurts my ears. Like really hurts them and the thing that I like the most I still have more left in it as far as tuning it. I had my 12" dual 1 ohm Q reconed right before i sold my old car, and have decided against putting a system in my new car as i have a baby due in 8 weeks and need the trunk space. so it hasn't been used at all since the recone. what do u guys think i should sell it for? thanks anthony

Hey Scott, or anyone who can answer the question. I'm interested in retrofitting my 12" Q with the compression plug. How much power can I safely send it after the fit? It's doing with with ~1200w right now. Do I need an RA number or anything to send it back? Also, what would the turnaround time be from date of arrival? I understand you guys are still trying to get things back on track.

What would be the best choice for an amp that could power 2 15" FI btl safely at?

2 18" bl's in 11.8 cubes @ 35 hz: sq: sq is not the best, but certainly not even close to the worst. you have to remember i have owned 2 different gen magnums, and have listened to my friends xxx pretty extensively. the average user will be satisfied with the sq. the audiophile probably will not...but these woofers weren't designed to be the upper echelon for sq anyways, so im not really taking anything away from these woofers. spl: pretty **** good if you ask me. are being ran off a kx2500.1 with a birthsheet of 2.9kw @ 2 ohms. wired @ 1 ohms with gains set to give roughly 3k. the certainly punch pretty good. i have had to drill my rear hatch glass hinges and put bolts t…

will a sundown 1500 be too much for an FI AUDIO 12" BL (with dual2, pchampher and flatwind options?)....on FI's site they say that these are 1200watts rms? any more info?

Hi everyone ... I am confuse to decide which better and suit to my system. I used HAT Legatia 3way, and now consider to used Fi or AA product. Which better between Fi Q 12" vs AA Havoc 12" with sealed box for SQ competition ??? I will drive it by Genesis dual mono extreem bridge @ 4ohm. Is it true to compared Q with Havoc ??? or Q should compared with Chaos series or another ??? is Havoc for SQ like Q series ??? Can Havoc play SPL also ??? I also want to build fun SPL car here. For the msrp under USD $400.00 which AA's product would be better for fun / daily used SPL ??? Arsenal or Chaos series ??? Thanks for help me.....
