hi. anyone ever used a wall for 2 Fi Q 15's? i have a box thats tuned to 9 cu ft. right now but i wanted to see if i could use a wall for these. i was thinking like 12-15 cu ft. too much??? any suggestions? thanks.

I got a 350Z recently and I'll be redoing the entire sound system using mostly parts I had from prior systems that I took apart years ago. Long story short I'll be building a fiberglass corner box, sealed, about 0.5 cuft and I can put a 10" sub in there. The FiQ10 seems to fit the bill with the limited space I have and the amp I have laying around (Directed 1100d, used it to power an RE SX15 that I need to sell still) So I'm guessing the Q10 with BP Power just to be safe and I should be good, right? whats the best score for a BTL 18''???? i am going to get mine metered saterday so i will post up my score then possibly with a video. what all have you hit?

i just got my bl yesterday, brokerage was 65$ :s. i was just wondering how do i know if my bl has the cooling option on it. i thought the magnet was supposed to have a hole through it when it had cooling, but mine does'nt. is this bad or am i just misinformed? thx-phil

well, after reading on this forum for quite awhile, and few other forums, i decided to join this one, and went to the FI site and bought a 12" BL D2 with cooling, flatwind, daily with the universal option just in case i decide to run 2. Hopefully by next week i will order my sundown 1500. Sub is going in an 86 chevy c-10 regular cab, in a center console box. Will post pics when it arrives, i am very excited. As only thing around here is kicker, alpine, JL, fosgate and mtx.

looks like 2 sets on the recone which have woven tinsels, which is awesome... but i have questions how to get them soldered... of course im not doing it my self.... just questions on it.

its been reviewed and its been a "god" in sq.its the w6 ...no doubt its a fantastic woofer..but how does the Q compare..this would be a nice reference .

What is the optimal box size (cubic feet) and port area (square inches) for a 12" BTL? Tuning to about 35 Hz.

FiQ 18 + AQ2200 at 2 ohm vs AQ hdc3 18 + AQ2200 at 1 ohm really confused and dont know with sub to get because I originally wanted the FiQ for its SQ but for $60 cheaper I can get something LOUDER...but how is the hdc3 18 when it comes to SQ Help would be appreciated

It's great that Ficaraudio is busy and prospering. That means they'll be around for a long time to come. In the meantime, it appears that they have an auto responder taking care of some of the e-mails. Any idea when you guys will be caught up. Alright so about a year ago a tinsel lead burned up on my 12" Q and so i just took it into a local audio shop and they said that the company up in minneapolis that they go through would fix it for 70 bucks and if it ever f'd up again they would fix it for free...i got it fixed and then it sat for like 9 months ....took it out when i got a new car in may and last week it happened again but this time it burned a hole in my spider and this gay company claims that there is only a 90 day warranty on repairs so now im f'd....even though it is completely their fault and they did shatty work on it in the first place....so my question is how much is it going to cost for fi to fix…

I have a 12'' BL in a 2.25 or so cu. ft. box ported at 32 hz, and a Kicker ZX1000.1 running at 2 ohms and it doesnt seem loud enough, and i dont want to clip it to death. im wondering if a different amp can help? its a fully loaded bl so im sure it can take 1500 rms, what do you guys suggest? right now for electrical i have 1/0 for the amp and battery, ive done the wire upgrades for the grounding in the engine compartment, except for the alternator because of it being mounted by my chassis rather than near the hood. any suggestions there besides the alt positve wire?

Hi everyone ... I am confuse to decide which better and suit to my system. I used HAT Legatia 3way, and now consider to used Fi or AA product. Which better between Fi Q 12" vs AA Havoc 12" with sealed box for SQ competition ??? I will drive it by Genesis dual mono extreem bridge @ 4ohm. Is it true to compared Q with Havoc ??? or Q should compared with Chaos series or another ??? is Havoc for SQ like Q series ??? Can Havoc play SPL also ??? I also want to build fun SPL car here. For the msrp under USD $400.00 which AA's product would be better for fun / daily used SPL ??? Arsenal or Chaos series ??? Thanks for help me.....

So I've decided to get a sundown SAE-1000D to go with a 12" Fi Q and I have one question before I go ahead and order them. For the sundown amp, do I want to order the Q with the dual 1 or dual 2 ohm option? And would I need the BP power option as well? Thanks Ryan

Hello all, I've always been a fan of Fi since it came out just from reading the forums and when I first started wanting a system. That was about 3 years ago now I think. I would like to put together a system now but I'm shipping off to college so money is tight at this point in my life. I'm sure this is QUITE impossible but I'de like to not spend more than $500 on either 1-15 or 2-12s including the Amp. I don't have a deck either right now but hopefully can figure that into the budget sometime. Thank you for any suggestions or insight. -Rob

Scott, I have seen that you sent out a couple of tinsel leads to someone else in the past and was wondering if you could send me some new ones for a 12" BTL fully loaded. I noticed a couple of other ones are almost broken. Also what is the best way to put in the new leads? Any help would be great. Thanks

I really want to buy a pair of ssd 18's and run them sealed, but everyone on this site say no. I plugged the T/S specs into Win ISD and it seems to be OK sealed in that sense.
