So I've decided to get a sundown SAE-1000D to go with a 12" Fi Q and I have one question before I go ahead and order them. For the sundown amp, do I want to order the Q with the dual 1 or dual 2 ohm option? And would I need the BP power option as well? Thanks Ryan

I am really thinking about purchasing a FI BL 15" by this winter. I currently only have a Lanzar Vibe 250 amp. It pushes 1000watts max. 2 ohm stable and 2 channel. I was wondering if it would be ok to power the driver with this amp. I am not looking to spend a lot of money on another amp, i am satisfied with what I have currently. I'd like a BL, because I hear nothing but good things about them, and sounds like something I would like to have. I love loud bass, and my current sub (Cerwin Vega Vmax) isn't doing the work for me. So good choice or not to get a BL? It would be in a 2000 Cavalier, and I would have someone build me a ported box for it.

Does Fi sell shirts or any other accessories(hopefully free), i would love to represent them! I would want stickers too when i finally order my BTL!

Alright so about a year ago a tinsel lead burned up on my 12" Q and so i just took it into a local audio shop and they said that the company up in minneapolis that they go through would fix it for 70 bucks and if it ever f'd up again they would fix it for free...i got it fixed and then it sat for like 9 months ....took it out when i got a new car in may and last week it happened again but this time it burned a hole in my spider and this gay company claims that there is only a 90 day warranty on repairs so now im f'd....even though it is completely their fault and they did shatty work on it in the first place....so my question is how much is it going to cost for fi to fix…

I really want to buy a pair of ssd 18's and run them sealed, but everyone on this site say no. I plugged the T/S specs into Win ISD and it seems to be OK sealed in that sense. Still paying off the past unsucessful attempt to get a decent substage in my truck. I am going to try the following: 2x 12" Fi Q DVC 1-Ohm AQ 2200d Amplifier(2200w@1-Ohm) ...in this box. Roughly about 1.6ft^3 in each chamber after subwoofer displacement. Sealed. Total Volume = 3.52ft^3. Housing two 12" Fi Q DVC 1 - .16ft^3 Subwoofer Displacement. Whatcha guys think? Its going behind the seat.

It's great that Ficaraudio is busy and prospering. That means they'll be around for a long time to come. In the meantime, it appears that they have an auto responder taking care of some of the e-mails. Any idea when you guys will be caught up. I just got a brand new mazda 3 hatchback and I'm looking to upgrade the stock sound system with a sub and amp. My budget for an amp and sub is gonna be about $500 but I can stretch it to $600 if absolutely necessary. Well my birthday came and I was pumped to be getting all my goodies. My girlfriend was sad as she had ordered something for me, only for it not to arrive in time. Well today package 1 of 2 arrived. A sweet 15" BTL loaded. I took some pics. All the pics taken either mine or otherwise really dont give these subs credit. MASSIVE!!

I just got done setting my gains with the DMM, my main issue and area of concern is the subwoofer and the Hifonics Bxi1606d amplifier. The component set is working and sounding fine and so is the Sundown SAX 100.2 amplifier. The Hifonics amplifier and subwoofer on the other hand are just being a pain in the ass to get sounding decent. To give you all the information I can on the subject we'll start here. I want that 15" Fi Q sound that we see and hear in videos, the smooth rumbling bass on all frequencies, well-reproduced, very loud, and sounding very good. To achieve this I have done the following. Say I made a 4 cubic foot box put a BL15 inside with 1500watts rms, then used the same box popped in a BTL15 in the same box with 3000watts rms. Would the BTL be much louder. I'm a little confused to how much watts make a difference in car audio, everytime someone asks if they should go for 1 powerful sub, or 2 less powered subs, people always vote for the 2 subs due to cone area. Would the btl make you feel and hear noticably more bass then the bl with my given senario?
