Ok so i have 2 12" Fi SSD Dual 1 ohm subs, and i want to have a final ohm load of 2 ohm. Can someone show me how to wire them?

I recalled back in this forum someone said the Q was reviewed by CA&E. Anyone knows about the score or even better a copy of it. Also with the review of the mags. thanks Wynold

Since copper coils are now standard on the SSD line, I was wondering if the flatwind voice coils are also copper?

Got my 12" Q in today. As I was admiring its' beauty, I noticed that it had 3 red terminals and 1 black. Shouldn't there be 2 Black (-) and 2 Red (+)? May be a dumb question, but this should have no affect on playability should it?

how much does the bp power option raise the rms on a 12" ssd?? would one need this option running 2 off a rf t10001bd 1633rms @ 1 ohm? what coil would be the best-regular, copper, or flat wind? daily driver (possibly a comp here n there for somethin to do but rarely), in trunk of an 00 impala, 2.5 cubes each tuned to around 38hz, i listen to most all music, lots of rap turned up loud, cuz its loud n low.

the search function doesn't like it when i search for anything about the Q's and i searched backa couple pages and didn't find what i was looking for. anyways, i'm considering upgrading to a second Q. and i have 2 questions. i would rather not half to upgrade my alt, seeing as i just got a brand new stock alt put in 2 days ago cause my old one completely went out. and i can't return it now that it's in.. I am new to the car audio scene, and I would like to get the best bang for my buck, but I also want to "go big". I Have never seen an 18" subwoofer box before let alone an 18" subwoofer irl. I know they are pretty big, I want to know the standard ported box recommendations for an SSD 18, and if that box will fit in my 1990 jeep YJ with the back seats out. Help from you experienced set of guys would be very greatly appreciated!

i was thinking of getting a BTL n2 15'', an ported box from this website: http://www.klausaudi...oofer-boxes.php , im not sure what amp im getting but something like a 2000W-2200W, then im getting new battery, big 3, and a high output alternator (250 amps), also im currently looking for new navigational system and speakers. i have a 2005 cadillac escalade esv so i got plenty of room. i was just wondering if anyone has any good ideas for the amp and speak system. i just need some decent speakers and amp. also what would you recommend for box volume?

Planning on ordering my btl this weekend..should i add everything to it for daily..or just cooling? with 2500 watts could i tell the difference in a loaded and not loaded btl?

so what is it with fi customer service :/ do they not give you a shipping / payment confirmation email at the least? I ordered a recone kit on friday may 22nd before 3pm and have yet to hear a damn peep from anyone @ fi yet they had no problem communicating with me through email pre-payment being sent... i'd like to not put fi under the shitty customer service category, but it's heading that way. i sent out an e-mail to scott / nick / recone / orders @ ficaraudio.com, hopefully I get some kinda results. just want opinions what do most of you guys use? I have them wired with 12 guage right now. Was wondering if it would really make any differance if i used 10 or 8 guage or would the 12 be fine?

I just ordered a sub and im pumped at how much it will pump. I ordered a 10"Q, Dual 1Ohm, Burgandy Dustcap to match my car and i cant wait to install it. as title says looking for the newest update on BTLs. I ordered towards the end of back order but really hoping i can recieve my woofers in the next couple weeks. I have 4 audio competitions between August 28th and September 8th so an updates can help me. I do not wanna rip out the system i have now to not recieve anything before this time period but id like to start my wall build if i will. Any updates will put me at ease =) thanks, justin

just want to share with all .i did a 163.4 with 4 btl 18's with no testing of this setup or finding my freq.16 poweracoustik a3000db amp and some 5 year old batts(24).i'm very happy with the subs,took the 6ooo watts with a breeze.all i can say best sub for the money and great cust.services too.thanks scott and shawn.u too nick.it was a while back when u helped me with some things.
