I'm looking at getting a 18" q or bl and im planning on putting a Kicker 08ZX1000.1 to it and getting a custom box built for it and will listen daily. I listen mainly to rap, i just love the loud bass you can really feel which one will give me that? I have a 2001 CRV so its an open trunk. And does anyone know the new line fi is coming out with?

i was thinking of getting a BTL n2 15'', an ported box from this website: http://www.klausaudi...oofer-boxes.php , im not sure what amp im getting but something like a 2000W-2200W, then im getting new battery, big 3, and a high output alternator (250 amps), also im currently looking for new navigational system and speakers. i have a 2005 cadillac escalade esv so i got plenty of room. i was just wondering if anyone has any good ideas for the amp and speak system. i just need some decent speakers and amp. also what would you recommend for box volume?

Looking for a few parts... tinsil lead, 2 15" gaskets, 4 sub terminals(with screws on the side). Any chance i could get them from fi?

as title says looking for the newest update on BTLs. I ordered towards the end of back order but really hoping i can recieve my woofers in the next couple weeks. I have 4 audio competitions between August 28th and September 8th so an updates can help me. I do not wanna rip out the system i have now to not recieve anything before this time period but id like to start my wall build if i will. Any updates will put me at ease =) thanks, justin

I need help configuring my amp to the BTL sub! anyone can help me? i pretty much know nothing

Ordered 2 bls on feb 20 and haven't received them yet. The tracking keeps saying the item wasn't received yet. Is there any way to find out what's the hold up? Its been over a month and no change

I just installed my BL12 and it is powered by a RF T1500-1bd. Could I get some input on the proper amount of power or suggestions on break-in period? Thanks

how much does the bp power option raise the rms on a 12" ssd?? would one need this option running 2 off a rf t10001bd 1633rms @ 1 ohm? what coil would be the best-regular, copper, or flat wind? daily driver (possibly a comp here n there for somethin to do but rarely), in trunk of an 00 impala, 2.5 cubes each tuned to around 38hz, i listen to most all music, lots of rap turned up loud, cuz its loud n low.

if you had the choice what would you take 2 12" ssd's getting 600 watts each or a 15" Q getting 1200 watts. Both would be in optimum enclosures tuned around 32HZ. I want it to be loud and be able to hit the lows and sound good while doing it.

just want to share with all .i did a 163.4 with 4 btl 18's with no testing of this setup or finding my freq.16 poweracoustik a3000db amp and some 5 year old batts(24).i'm very happy with the subs,took the 6ooo watts with a breeze.all i can say best sub for the money and great cust.services too.thanks scott and shawn.u too nick.it was a while back when u helped me with some things.

just wanted to say thanks again to scott and FI for there awesome customer services. last year i blew 2 btl's 18's 2 weeks before NSPL finals,call fi and ordered 2 recones and i got them less than 10 days.made the finals and won.i blew the subs from bad rca's. so it was not there fault but mines.awsome subs.they play like a timex.they take a beating and keep on ticking. now i went to a show2 weeks ago and opps rca pull out so i blew 2 subs again.again my fault.same subs too.the other subs are still strong. well with only 2 of 4 subs i still did over a 162 db'.so i was ok,but now i need subs for the NSPL finals and no cash. after i came up with some cash i called scott a…

I have a 2002 Ford Explorer with dimensions of Front to Back - 36" Left to Right - 45*1/2" Height - 19" I currently am running 6 13w1v2's off of 2 Kicker ZX1500.1 and I am looking to get to 15" and narrowed my options to the 15" BL's. I am wondering what size box I should get and what I should have it tuned too. My box now is the exact dimensions that I've given above. I plan on putting 1 Kicker ZX1500.1 to each of the 15". I like the real low bass as in Young Jeezy, Gorilla Zoe, Lil John...etc but I wanna make sure that my highs are also good. Any idea on what I should get the box tuned too? so i noticed a lot of you on here are very well educated when it comes to systems in cars (ie doing it yourself). where/how did ya'll learn all this stuff? was it just trial and error pretty much? reason i ask cause i really would like to learn and dont have enough time to go to a school for it. read two "eh" books but want tons more info and want to learn more.

I got my first BTL 18 about 5 months ago, fully loaded dual 2 ohm version. It was the fist 18 I'd purchased or even heard in person, so I was a bit skeptical because of the mixed things people say about larger drivers as far as quality go. The last two setups I had owned were a kicker L7 15 in 5cubes tuned around 32hz, and and alpine type-x 12 in 1.1cube tuned around 32hz. I had been trying to find a very loud woofer that still sounded half decent, and while the alpine sounded nice, and the kicker got loud, neither did both very well. Just curious if there's a reason the Fi Q series isn't showing up on the website...Either way, could someone possibly give me the specs on the 12" sub. I need the detailed specs so I can input the sub on WinISD to attempt a box design.
