just wanted to share the news that we had a NSPL 3x show on easter and the fi btl-18's was the loudest of the show and set a new world record in 1200 -2400 amp draw class with a 161.8 db's.that was with 12000 to 14000 watts total power.i am very happy with my 4 btl's.as stated they are over 1 db louder than my dd 9515 with same coils (d.7) and same amps and power.awesome subs.scott sent u pic a while back,already gave detail of my setup in 91 astro van and now 2 more wr.can i get a shirt now.i am a big guy 4 or 5x please.jeff

ok..... so i have 2 15" Fi BTLs in a 2006 maxima.....AB 500.1 for power....my electrical system has a 200A Alt, 2 2400's and a 1400 kinetik under the hood... i recently put in an alpine 9887 and since then my output went WAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYy down. i readjusted the gains just now with a voltmeter, around 70V.....and it barely hits, ive got the setting on the HU MX 3...sub level 15 eq on the low bands +6 and it barely hits.... i checked the ohms with the DMM by turning off car and putting it on the speaker wire to amp....it showed .8-1....... really, my old setup with 2 12" mags + sundown 1500 hit harder then this. its like playing stock subs......any ideas what is wrong here?…

Seem's like alot of people are talking about 8's lately you guys should make a SSD 8 and a Q 8, or is the motor to big for a 8?

hey guys, hope you all had a good weekend ! right now my BL is facing the rear and box is only out of .5 mdf because its all i had at the moment, but now im planing on puttin another layer on the sides,front and and top. Will that help with deepness and loudness? I know it stops the box from flexing a bit but dont know what that does for sound. as for the box facing rear, im planing on turning it around and hopefully sealing it off by putting two cut outs on the sides (one on each) going straight across. To fill in the gaps, is gorilla tape good ?

i have 18 cu to work with after displacements, and im wondering if that is enough air space for 4 bl 18s or do i need to step down do the bl 15s?

Will four eD nine.1s amps be enough power to push 4 BL 18s. Btw what is the minimum air space required ported per sub?

I live in Iowa, i sent my 12" Q series in on Oct. 7th. I have sent 3 different emails to Fi and still have not heard a word back. The tracking number on the package i sent says it arrived on the 13th. I was just wondering if it was complete? All that it needed was a repaired Tinsel Lead from one of the positive terminals. I would really appreciate it if someone would contact me to let me know how things are going! Thanks

sorry to bug you guys but i just wanted to know whats goin on about my recone that i ordered. I tried emailing you guys for about a week or so and i haven't heard anything. All i know is that the money was taken out of my account. I knoiw ur guys are really busy but i just want to have a lil assurance thats every thing is okay. I am waiting on a reply from Nick. I don't see to many people reconing an ssd. How much is a recone kit for an ssd. I need to change to D2's instead of my D1's. I picked up another Zapco Studio 500 and need 4ohm a woofer. Can it have the copper coils and or the flatwound coil on this go around with a stock motor? Is it a kit or just a cone? you know, does it come with glue and shims to locate the coil in the gap, thats sort of stuff. thanks

Im looking to upgrade to 18's by the end of summer, and was wondering if you guys could recone my RE HC 12's into 18's. Right now they are being powered by a Ampman Revo 1500.1(which Im sure you are all familiar with) @ 2ohms cause I let the magic smoke out of the other 1500.1(I had two). Anyways if I got them reconed by you would they be ok getting 1500w+ each? Also could you reccomend a reputable shop that would fix my other Revo 1500.1? I havent found anyone local(Jersey) that I would trust to fix it. Sorry for the long rambling questions

Big Island guy, on O'ahu for school. Was looking at RE's SXs, but now I'm really leaning heavily toward Fi's BL 12" after reading online. 1. Can you quote me shipping cost (USPS if its cheapest without being super slow) to 96816 2. If this is non-competition, wanting a solid daily-driver that can handle my old Kicker 1200.1 which if any of the additonal options should I be looking at (i.e. cooling, flatwind, etc.) Thanks for any info, I've been building my own systems for about 8 years but haven't had the pleasure (or so I hear) of working with Fi products yet.

Hi, I recently ordered a recone kit with a 15" basket for a btl n2. I saw, on bongo International (the shipper to my country) that there is only one package. I wonder if the basket is in the package. I could not see it on the pics provided. My sub is a 12" and I want to recone to a 15". I've ordered the good size for the recone. I hope it will come complete.

Does anybody have some pics of a btl or bl motor with the cooling and without it?? i have alway wondered what the difference is in the motor thanks.

Hey just doing some window shopping looking for opitions for my amp hoping to ad Fi to my list I'm not looking to buy soon and I know alot can change in a company's line-up over a year but I treat car audio like my version of a fantiacy football league and I'll do builds in my head waiting to hit the lottery or my kids to graduate so I can have more toys... How I like my bass... I have a 2004 GS300 and my trunk is sealed off from the cabin, and have never owned a car that seats didnt fold down and this cars' doesnt and doesnt have a passthrough through the rear arm rest either.. So this may be a stupid question but will i get enough bass in the cabin of my car? I plan on ordering a 12'' Fi BL dual 2ohm ported probably at 32hz.. 1000w at 1ohm.. Thanks

I already sent an email about this i just wanted to see if i could get a quicker response through the forum. Can you guys recone the TC 3 HP motors with the six mounting holes? I need a response fairly soon so i can order another one before they run out. I would prefer them to be tens or twelves and handle at least 1krms each. Can't remember if you guys did black friday deals last year or not..... If so, I'm curious if you guys will again this year. I was wanting to pick up another SSD 18, and if there's a sale it would be a perfect time for me to get one.

Hopefully by saturday i am hoping to order my new fi daul 2 ohm and i know there isnt to much of a difference between the BL and Q i know that the Q will hit incredible deep and the BL hits harder and deep. but I'm not sure what im not sure what i want. i am wanting one that will hit deep but still want it to hit hard. does the Q hit hard or just really deep?

How can ther be a Fi dealer in Guadeloupe? They sell Team Fi subs, SP4's,...It's a French Caribbean island, near mine. We have a few people buyin Fi subs now. The installs are coming. I don't know the pricing yet, though.

Okay guys, heres whats up. I just got my Bl in FINALLY (100% worth the wait btw) It has all options including FW coil. Now what i need to know is it bad to touch the voice coil? Upon opening the bl's box, my friend said "the vents in the basket are so big you can touch the voicecoil" and then he did:( ikd if it matters though so can anyone help me out ? I mean he didnt like hurt it or anything im just unsure if like the fingure grease could maybe hurt the coil but I could just be trippin. Any help would be much appreciated ! Thanks
