I live in las vegas. Would it be possible to pick up the speaker and save on shipping? I'm also interested in seeing where they are made if it's possible. Also will I have to pay sales tax? So if the pickup is possible, what would the total be and how can I pay for it? hey i cant find fi stickers anywhere. does anyone know where i could get some?

The foam on the top of the basket didn't have the mounting holes drilled in it. Also, the holes were a tad small for a 1/4" bolt. I saw a thread on here before where someone drilled theirs out to accommodate 1/4" bolts, but I've never heard anything about the holes not going through the foam. Is this normal, or did they just forget to put the holes in mine?

Ok I have a friend gettin two alpine mrp2000 amps each pushin about 2248wrms at 2 ohms and hes running that to two alpine Type X 12s.. Now me being me I just wanna 'keep up and surpass' him and Im gettin 2 BTL 12s with a Sundown 3500D but I dont have either yet.. Will my car still be louder? p.s. I plan to have 2.5^3 for each sub and tuned to about 35hz

I want to purchase 2 of the Q18's for an attic mounted IB line array in my home theater. I am a member of the "IB cult" and AVS forums and I understand you guys can do some custom mods on these to gear them specifically for IB installations. I will be running them on a Behringer EP2500 amp and using the DSP1124p feeback destroyer pro. For 2 of these in an array config, what ohm rating, voice coil type, and wiring config would you guys suggest I use? I sent a few emails over the last 7-10 days, but cannot get a response so I thought I would post here. Any feedback or help would be much appreciated. I hate to bring up a vs. thread, but this one seems reasonable. If you read my thread in the subwoofer section, you know my deal. Basically i want to upgrade from an avalanche and I think i have decided on either the Fi Q or BL. Both will be receiving 1200 watts and be put in a 3.5 @ 30hz enclosure. From my other thread, i learned that the Q will probably work better in my box, but the BL will be louder in the end. I will probably build a new box come summer time better suited to whichever sub i get and to my car (hatchback=sub up). Both subs are the same price...i won't be putting options on either...so i am pretty torn. I have researched and found people to say the Q …

Ok, my friend Want to get a 15" sub. He is think about doing either a BTL or BL he has the hifonics bxi 2008D that he got free from a friend. He wants to feel the bass should he do the BTL or BL? the BL will be getting more power than it need, but will the btl get louder even though it will be underpowered, considering how much more efficient the BTL is.

Now that I'm working agian, I'm ready to spend some of the money I just made... I have a Q10 and talked to Nick a while back about changing the coils from dual 1ohm to dual 2ohm in order to match my sae-1000D better. My question is: since the sub would be in the hands of Fi for the recone to change the coils, would it be worth it to upsize to a bigger cone as well? such as a 12 or 15? I will run this sealed because it is in an extended cab s10. So basically, will going from 600rms to 1100rms make a big difference or not? Thanks in advance, Mike B.

Well, my homie wants to run a good amount of 12"s, or possibly 15" ssd's But he wants to do a blowthrough from the bed of the truck to the cab, what would be the best way to do it? He's thinking about doing it in sections, and i think that the way that might be best is to do 4 15"s SSDs and a SAZ 4500 and then do 4 more and another SAZ 4500 but, would you have to do a band pass pretty much??

Just wondering if anyone has sent there sub in to get reconed? If so how long does it usually take to get it back

Hey I am going to be getting 4 of the Fi Qs ( come summer ) and I was looking at getting 2 Soundstream 3500ds to power the 4 18s. What would be the best ohms setup to get on the Qs?

I have a UFO style 18" BTL in the trunk of my vic, and I want to order the 12" Fi sticker, but I need to know if the adhesive is on the front side of the sticker or the back, because I have dark tint and want to put it on the outside of the window so it shows up well. So is the adhesive on the sticker face or will I be able to place it on the outside of my car?

im doing a single 12 ssd on a rockford 1200.1d in a pontiac vibe and want the best bang for my buck... does anyone have any plans they may be willing to share? i dont want to use the re audio calculator cause i know thats not very accurate. and im also thinking abou buying a custom box from "dave the box guy" but thats at least 6-10 weeks so i will have to build something for the meantime... any thoughts are appreciated.

Hey guys! Here are a few vids of my Q 15's. The first 2 are vids with my first box which was 7.2 CuFt after all displacement tuned to 32 Hz. That box fell apart cause the guy who built it didnt use any kind of adhesive in the joints...only screws. You can actually hear the rattling from the box...it sounded horrible. The second 2 are with new box which is 8CuFt, tuned to 30hz with 120 SqIn of port. Enjoy! The vids just dont do these justice. This is by far the loudest and best sounding setup I've ever had. hey guys. I've got a 2000 firebird trans am that is in need of some extra bump. I currently have 1 Resonant Engineering SX 15" in a 5.5 cu ft box at 33hz in my Yukon and it sounds amazing on music and tones. I'm wanting to do the 2 10" stealth enclosures that fit into the rear pockets of the firebird. Here's what I mean... http://www.subthump.com/acamarostealth.htm I was wondering about the SSD 10's. Do you think they would be nice for this enclosure? I know the minimum sealed enclosure is actually 0.6 cu ft.
