Currently im running a 12" Q ported (2cu@32hz) off a saz-1500d. Im looking at trying to get more output but am limited on space. Im looking at the option of doing 2 SSD 12's sealed with 800wrms going to each. How would output compare to the Q ported? I have about 3 cubic ft to work with in a sealed box. I could also possibly do 2 10" SSDs ported but only in 2-2.5 cubes. Any recommendations?

I have a pair of Q 15's that I have had since november 2006. I had them in my old 89' Range Rover in 8Cubes tuned to 30Hz. I loved them like that. Well I just got a 1995 Integra hatchback. I have them sealed 5.1cubes after disp. and WOW. I thought they were a nice driver before but being sealed they are on a whole other level. I just cant describe it. The bass is so accurate, smooth, and beautiful sounding. It just sounds 'solid'. They play lower and also hit the higher frequencies better. They play so much flatter (not peaky). Being in the hatchback, they are also louder to my ear and definitely moves more air. Here are a few vids of them in the Teg. There are also …

Hey I emailed sales [at] FiCarAudio.com 10 days ago and then emailed Nick and Shawn a day later. I still haven't heard back from anyone. I'd like to order a Fi Q 10" no BP Option. I can't place the order via the webpage because I'm in Hawaii. I know shipping is going to be more, thats okay I'm ready to order now. Please get in touch with me. I emailed the request from dj.kickz [at] gmail.com

ok i am a big time noob to box's, but i do know ported is more spl and sealed is LSQ. For a BL you need to go ported. But for a ported box which would be the loudest out of the 4 combinations, small box small port, big box small port, small box big port, smal box small port? all i am concerned about is spl/loudness. (it is for a 15 BL.) thx.

I can purchase two blown konaki 12 subs for 40 dollars per woofer and was wondering if I could send it in to Fi for a recone or purchase a recone from fi, I know you have to replace the basket as well... but if I can recone them for cheap it would be a good investment I think.... Thank you for any advice in advance ~ jonathon. (oh and these look just like the audioques just as a reference to which subs i am talking about)

The other day I whiped together a box for my Q10, 14x14x12, 3/4in mdf, comes out to around .9 cubes. I screwed up on one of the cuts so i just siliconed the chit out of it. So i have it in my truck now, pushed by 900 kenwood watts rms and there is a clicking noise coming from the sub. Not so noticeable on the lower notes or in rock songs, but it really makes me mad. I pushed on the sub, no scratchy sound, i put the coils on a DMM, both at .8 ohms. WTF! I also tried it free air a little and the noise is louder let. I read on another forum to check my spider for rub marks from tensel slap, and i couldn't find anything. Any ideas? Am i doing something wrong?

So yesterday I finally got around to making a new box for my 12'' Fi Q D2. The box came out great, but when I went to put the Q in I noticed one of the tinsel leads was broken at the end where it connects to the terminal. I'm not sure how or when it happened. The gain on my amp (US amps XT4000D, 1500rms @ 1 ohm) is set about half way up and the bass boost is off. My question is what can I do about this? repair it? send it back for repair? Any help is appreciated, thanks
