I had a pair of Q 12's sealed and wasnt a fan. Loved one ported but had trouble selling single. I got good deal on a BL 10. Whats optimum tune for daily. I read 32hz. If I tune it to 30 would it be noticeable difference.

I am having a Fi BL 12 Loaded shipped and will be using my current Rockford Fosgate 1000w rms amp to power it unless reccommended to use something more powerful. should i up grade to something more powerful? if so what? sundown is out of stok on the saz1500d until april. any thing else? If so, everything else electrical is stock in the car. Do i need to make any electrical or wiring upgrades at this time?

well i just received my first Bl loaded 12" from FI. holy sh..........it! This new speaker blows my two previous Type R 12's away!!!!!!!! Much deeper lows and the highs are much more noticable. Due to money restraints, it is even on the same RF1000w/rms amp i previously had as well as it is even in a 1.25 cu.ft. Q-logic ported sub box!!! I can probably go with a bigger box and amp too huh? this is my plan so, if any one can help with ideas it would help out (new at this)......... I will be purchasing a second sub and I am having a sub box built to FI specs for the two to fit in Ford Focus trunk. Will also be buying (from somewhere) a Sundown 3000d to power both and …

how much of a difference is there for output from a 12"btl to a 18",, i have a bl15 fully loaded and shes getting 900 rms, im debating on getting a btl and sell my bl15 but it would cost a lot to buy the btl and get a huge amp for it. should i just buy a bigger amp for my bl or get the btl, if the btl is really that good it ill save up and get it what yall think thanks.

Well here is a finished pic of my wall setup in my Civic. Worked out alot better than I expected. I love FI and rep them everywhere I go. They sound awesome. Have a couple of pics and a short video of Young Jeezy. Notice the windshield wiper jumping off the windshield. Keep in mind this is powered by a American Bass VFL 150.1...@ .7 ohms. Daily... I didnt know what to make the topic but u guys gotta see this. I plan on firing forward and came across this over at ROE and was shocked... Since by ear i am not going to hear low bass as good as if i fired back, and anything over 60hz is nonsense coming out of a sub to me anyway, am i reading that right? It sucks that they didn't have a BL in that test too but i am rather shocked at a comparison of the q to the btl with double the power difference. I'm still wanting a BL but i noticed according to this chart, right at Fs of the BTL, it drops its output by a noticeable amount. 10hz in either direction it picks it back up. Hey guys. I just wanted to know if a Q10 w/BP would sound comparable to a Q12 wo/BP?

im not sure if my sub is in need for a recone or not, but there was smoke and the dreaded smell. The weird thing is the coils measure at 1.7 ohms on one side and 1.5 on the other. I looked at em and they seem to be a lil burnt. The sub still plays but its not as loud as it was and theres distortion on certain low and higher-mid notes. Iv not yet gotten to finish upgrading my electrical, been waiting on batteries, then gotta order a ho alt. Are these parameters taken on the subs when they are freshly new or taken when the suspension has loosened up? And I am referring to Fi subs.

yeah. well I'm having a hard time getting the proper size enclosure setup for what i want to install in the future. so being that i have about 3k in power for my subs i was considering on taking up a BTL 15" now, i truly love my XXX and i love the low end of them but my downfall on them is the lack of upper frequencies. now my only other options that are in mind with my 2 XXX's is running them sealed. they will be 15's. Alright they don't answer E- Mails at the sight. I'm wondering if my purchase is going to be this way? I will soon be ordering 1 of 2 BTL 18's and want it to go smoothly. will a sundown 1500 be too much for an FI AUDIO 12" BL (with dual2, pchampher and flatwind options?)....on FI's site they say that these are 1200watts rms? any more info?

I would like to listen to a couple of these subwoofers before buying (Q10 and Q12). Is there a dealer locator I can reference, or is there an opportunity to listen at the HQ in Vegas (going there in a few weeks for business)?
