Ok got the cut out.. Now I need to know how the hell to install this thing. The rubber surround comes off(the part with the holes on top and bottom...So i pulled on it...and theres no holes through the basket..I dont want to go drilling through the sub so im wondering whats going on...

Sooooo, I was asked by a friend who is about to order some BLs to ask on here. He is gettin the fully loaded BLs and wants to know if they can take 2k watts daily???? The longest he blares his system for at a given time is about 30min, but his current setup is crap so i doubt it will be full crank with BLs.

i have a btl 15 last years model just ordered this years model (n2) trying to get a box build for both the subs but dont know if all the measurements are the same just need some info thanks........

So I'm looking to get a 15" TC9 reconed by Fi right now, and possibly a Shocker Sig in the near future. I have sent a few emails to the recone address, but I got no response. Is there a better way to get this done? I would like to get this thing reconed ASAP, so any help at all would be appreciated.

I ordered the 18" BTL on december 30th. I've been reading that they don't get like the motors in or some stuff till next monday? Thats fine with me, cuz I got a lotta work to do on my car. I have 3 batteries, one to replace under the hood. No alternator yet, but I'm doing the big three. Sub up, port back no speaker upgrades yet and headunit soon, but probably after an alternator does that sound decent for now? I'm going to start taking out my third row, and I'm paying 10$ for box specs from a kid named aznboi on an explorerforum.

nice little sub here. these were ordered for a friend of mine to replace some old old old kenwoods in a pre-fab bandpass box. i don't know how well they would do in them but i'm sure it would be pretty good. here are a few pics. i won't be able to give a review till monday or tuesday as i'm going up to sarasota tonight, then orlando tomorrow, then miami on sat, then back home. so yeah. thanks Fi.

Ok so it has been 10 days seince I ordered an fi q 18 and I have not received a update on shiping information. Is fi backed up or is somthin up with ups?

im looking for 3-4000 watts its going to be for 2 btl or bl's 2+2 coils. im re-modleing my house right now so cash is kinda tight im looking at 2 pca 2000D's, 2 autotec 2000D's or 2 bxi 2006's what do you guys think i should get? or if anyone has a hook up that will work let me know.

just out of curiosity i have already orderd but would anyone know what the brokerage fee's would be on a 12" fi btl ? "to canada" just to have an idea for when it gets here

well starting to think of a set up for next year going to maybe wall off the bug. Not sure if I want to go with 2 BTL18 with 2500RMS each or 2 15BTL on the same power. I compete in street beat and with 1 btl18 I do 145 but want a little more. With the 2 15's I would stay in the same class and should be louder box would end up at around 12-16cf before displacements. so from the experts here which would seem better I am leaning to the 15's. Is it possiable to recone a 18 to a 15 if I go to the 15's this would be nice.

Hey all. I am going to be purchasing a Fi sub in the next few weeks and I have a quick question. Is the 18'' BL noticeably louder than the 15''?

With Just 2 12'' Q's No bp option in a ported box tuned to 32hz, with 2 pdx 600.1 amps i hit 149.5 dbs at 48 hz yesterday, a coulpe more points and ill be right where i wanna be.. thanks scott and nick for the box reccomendations, scott told me it would be loud..

i am going to be running a memphis amp 1100 @ 1 ohm . its going in a downfire center console in a reg cab silverado . im thinking a ported 10 or a sealed 12. i have around 2 cubes to work with . im looking for a good overall response. what do you think?

I want to purchase 2 of the Q18's for an attic mounted IB line array in my home theater. I am a member of the "IB cult" and AVS forums and I understand you guys can do some custom mods on these to gear them specifically for IB installations. I will be running them on a Behringer EP2500 amp and using the DSP1124p feeback destroyer pro. For 2 of these in an array config, what ohm rating, voice coil type, and wiring config would you guys suggest I use? I still haven't received my subs!! A tracking email was sent to me on Monday, March 5th and the delivery date was supposed to be Friday, March 9th and it is now the 13th.. Anybody else have a similar problem?

Well i sent in my money order for a Q10 a week ago friday stating that i would like dual 2ohm coils, well, things changed a little so i e-mailed Fi and asked if my order could be changed to dual 1ohm coils... No answer and i sent the e-mail sunday morning. I don't really want to send another e-mail because i know they are really busy, but... i need to know if my order was changed or not... Any ideas? Hello all! Well im certainly a noob around here. I've been looking at the boards for quite a few months but I've finally decided to post. Anyway, onto business... I have a 2006 Nissan Xterra with 2 12" RE SE's in a custom 4 cu ft at 34hz enclosure (the old ones, not the seX) on a nasty TMA 1000.1 (I didn't know much about this, bought it cheap from a friend). I'm right on that 1000 rms borderline so I have not performed any electrical upgrades and my car is fine (no dimming etc).
