hello i have a fully loaded btl motor...i need basket and everything to make this complete...if i shipped top you how much would it cost to make complete.....and how much just for the parts...or would you do a trade in towards a lower end less powered sub...just curious...marck

today i went to my local car audio shop to see how much theywould charge me to build me a simple port box for my fi bl 18. i told them i want 7cu .ft box tune to 32 hz and sub up and port to the back. they told me i couldnt fit a box that big in a 1991 ford explorer. they told me i should move my box closer to the front and then they showed me pics of a fake wall they did. it looks good but should i pay $400 for a wall but the box and port is all done with the wall?

Anyway here's what I wanted to say... two things, my feedback from my Q15 and a question on a 18 BTL First of all, absolutely love the Q15 w/bp, an absolute monster, the ported box, 4.8cuft @28hz was just insane, I was blowing away everything else I heard, W7 on a 1000/1 built to "JL specs", and two kicker setups, one pushing 2kw to two 15L5, and one setup pushing 3kw on 2 15L7's!! i have a fosgate t8002 amp right now but i plan on upgrading somewhere down the line...i want to run a one sub setup....i really want a 18 but am i underpowering it for now up until i upgrade my wattage?....will a 15 sound better and louder since im not pumpin that much power into it?....also...what do i buy a dual 1 sub or dual 2 sub...also what series is best for me....the q or bl or ssd.....it is going in a 85 cutlass...i listen mostly to rap...thanks

Going over yet another system design...6 x 15's in a wall.....have a couple ideas....thanks to Shawn Flemming...that could work pretty well :-) just trying to get some opinions on both 1 - subs facing forward (would be staggered to fit the height requirement) with the port in the middle 2 - subs firing towards each other, staggered with the port in the middle - basically a ported clamshell there would be 3 subs on each side

I have an 2001 Cadillac Deville. I have a Rockford Fosgate T4001bd and am looking for subs. I have been really looking at the Fi Btl's and the RE MT's but not exactly sure what size i can get do to box size would really like to 18 as im trying to be as loud as possible and have heard good things about the 18" fi subs but not sure if the box would have tto be too big after looking at some oof meades builds but maybe some of you who have installed some setups like this could help. So i figured i would come here for advice.

im lookin for the setup that would give me a higher DB for a daily driver,, either 2 15" BL's or one 18" BTL,, i have plenty of power and room for either one. thanx

I'm currently in the market for some new subs. As of right now I am running 4 Kicker L7 10's Power is from 2 Kicker KX1200.1's strapped making around 2.8k Box is 6ft^3 sealed. Ideally what I would like to do is drop down to a pair of 12's or an awsome single 15" I'm looking for a great LSQ driver, I want to be able to pound out the bass, but still be able to enjoy the sublties of the music. A friend of mine suggested looking into Fi, so here I am. after loads of questions i have put in my order for two ssd 12's with copper coils. yesssss so i am an official customer now. i know this doesn't excite anybody 'cept myself but after placing the order i couldn't help it. now ill sit back and relax on pins and needles waiting for the ups truck lol. rest assured when i get em pics and vids will be everywhere!!! thanks for everyones advice so far and there will be more questions trust me.

I'm desperately seeking a recone kit for my Avalanche 15. I've had several people suggest that Fi Audio might be able to help me. Scott is a name that has been mentioned on a few occasions as well. Can anyone get me in contact with Scott, or help me find a recone kit? TIA!!!

I have a 1992 Mazda extend cab and currently I'm running 6 type R 12's. All sealed. I want to run 2 18's in a ported enclosures. What series should I get? I have been told by Scott I should use the Q's. I'm using 2 Mtx Ta7801's and I'm going to get my 3rd in a couple of months. I only have about 12 to 14cbft to work with. I was wondering should I just get 1 of the Bl's? Run all 3 amps to it?

How much would a recone be for a 12" Q. The tinsels broke on one of the coils....

Hey hopefully this isn't too bad a thing to ask for, but is there any way to ge a recone for a RE SX 12 via Fi? And if so, would it be possible to just pick it up instead of having it shipped? I might be in Vegas in the near future and it would be cool to skip the shipping. thx, Ash aka Rob
