the box is 6.5 cubes tuned to 36hz with 75sq in of port the box is behind the front seat of my civic sub facing up and port facing forward and it just seems like it isn't wangin...could it be you guys built it the SPL version rather than daily? (i sent an email saying i messed up and wanted it changed and got no update) i mean it could be something to do with the box and the port being forward...let me know thanks im not happy at all with it...we installed my brothers 15in BL and i was blown away its in 5 cubes at 35hz and mine seems like a single 8 compared to it

I just bought a brand new Konaki 12", I plan to recone it down to a 10" and run a pair daily off my kx2500.1, I would like to get a shipped quote to 26851 for a 10" DVC 2 ohm kit, I would also need a 10" basket and rubber gasket and FI dust cap, I know they are included but I would like to get one with the FI logo on it. I plan to run 1200 watts to each Konaki 10" once I get them reconed, I dont know what coils or kit Scott or FI would use but I need/want something that will take 1200 watts rms, and be good for a daily type install. I tried pm'ing Scott but his box is full, pm sent to NDmustang

hey the other day my friend was moving his enclosure (with sub in it) and it slipped out of his hand and when it hit the floor the motor snapped rite off of the basket. so what im wondering is how much would a 18" basket and a recone kit be for his btl. the motor is daily, and universal... he would like it to be dual 1 ohm. it was fully loaded, 3rd magnet, ect. he wants it to be the same as it was. also he has a 18" 05 re xxx that is messing up and he is wondering about a recone kit for that too. tried sending you guys a pm but inbox is full. any help is vary much appreciated. Thank you. - Lance

Sorry for making a post about this, it just seems to get answered alot faster than emails. I got a speedy 10 minute response the first day about sending my sub in, but once I sent it out, I never got another email reply. Some confirmation if you received my sub and if you can fix it/build me a new one would be appreciated. Thanks scott/nick/whoever. Sub is a 15'' BL, Dual 2, fully loaded, has a cracked bottom magnet. -weston ([email protected])

Right now I have cheap Duals from best buy, so this is why I call this my first "real" system. Originally I had no idea what I was looking for, just that I wanted good sound quality since its a daily driver and I wanted it LOUD. I ran across a few choices and like the AudioQ HDC3's, but I figured I'd go with the FI Q's instead as I've heard they get pretty loud while still sounding extremely good. Heard great things about FI as a company as well. I am driving a 00 4-door sunfire so fitting a very large box isn't really going to happen. I have enough trunk space to fit a larger box to fit two 12's (maybe), but the problem is getting it into the trunk. So my options are ei…

Will a fi audio ssd18 with a flatwond coil and bp power take 1600 watts daily? I would do a btl but that would be underpowered. if the fi can't take it, has anyone had experience with a 18" jaugernaut?

Getting used to the BLs... so got a ?... well first off the rear deck is cut out in the center already to allow more air into the car (rear seat's don't fold down). When I had 12s I had a box design with the port facing up but put in the old box with port facing foward and it was louder that way. But with that design there was ~ 4" gap between the port and the cutout.. If I designed a new box that had say aeros coming out right to the rear deck, or just the port designed to fit flush in the rear deck think it would get louder? But I've been told the issue was I have to completly seal off the trunk from the car to make it work.... any input is apprecited.. thank you .

I'm planning on buying a 18inch fully loaded BTL. I have a few options in mind for an amp. I personaly like Soundstream amps. Hifonics as well as Planet audio make cheap but powerful amps.IMO JBL make the best underrated amps but there are so many choices to choose from. On this forum Sundown is the amp of choice by many. I found this link with a list of some athe most powerful amps on the market. Take a look at this link and tell me how accurate you think this list is also wich amps you think don't belong on this list. http://www.lightav.com/car/amps/poweramps.html

I got my 2 BL's a while ago, back in September. I just got around to getting my amps, so I take everything out of the box to hook it all up, and I noticed one of the cones is rock rock solid. Thats when I really started to worry, I hooked everything up running them at 1 ohm, and played a quick sweep to see if it would unlodge the coil. Nope, just a bad scratching noise, so I quickly turned off the head unit and unhooked everything. So now I am curious what to do. Does the warranty cover this defect? It really sucks that I haven't even been able to jam this sub and its already broken. I sent an email to scott, but I really dont know what he will do.
