Hello, So there has seem to be some confusion lately about the N series, and I wanted to start a topic to clear things up for the normal users who may or may not know what to buy. So could anybody that either works at F.i, or anybody that has and tested any of their N series equipment, please explain their use and purpose clearly. For example, what is the difference between the BTL N1, and the BL for instance. Why so many different lines and different job specific equipment that may confuse the consumer or may be overwhelmed by so many options? i have a Bl 15" that is blown and it needs to be sent in and repaired. but while its being repaired i was wondering if theres a way to upgrade it to handle 1500 rms..if so how much would all this cost to get fixed? or would it just be cheaper buying a fully loaded new one?

First i'm from over at ca.com and do amp repairs over there.Everyone over there is great and added to come over to fi and talk to scott about picking up 3 drop in recones for re's sx 15's.So my ques. is can i have 3 re sx 15's drop in recones for them and the price plus shipping.Really i just want them as close as everything from the org. as possible with 3 layer spider,dvc 2 ohms with the fi soft parts and tensel about the same.I have a btl 15 that i reconed and before i did the install i put it in the re sx and fit perfect.Please let me know,thanks.

Scott/Nick, I got a recone kit from you the other day and went to recone it for a customer and took the tape of the motor for the first time and the top plate on the motor seems to have shifted . Now onto the question, if i send the motor in could you reset the top plate? Corey

Hi I have been looking around at this Forum and now I find myself checking it each time im online. I've been looking at the Fi subs(very impressed btw) and im now very interested in a fully loaded 18" BTL. Now if i were to run a Hifonics BXi 2607D would I need to get the dual2ohm BTL? and wire it in parallel? Also what upgrades would I be looking at in my electrical system? (new alt, a few batterys) I plan on taking out a backseat in my Ford Fusion for the BTL. Any input would be greatly appreciated Thanks and merry "late" Chrismas!

question in title. wondering if there is any way to VISUALLY tell if a BTL has the daily versus the spl option. got a sub im looking to buy...but the dude doesnt know if the sub is daily or spl (he bought it from a guy named "beau" who goes by the name "astrolade" on caraudio.com) and i have no way of getting in contact with him.

Alright so I'm making my first system, I have a 15" BL and a T1500-1bd. I was wondering if I needed to upgrade my alternator. I just bought a optima yellow top, but I noticed some people tend to have an extra battery for the sub would I need one?

hey, ive been trying to contact you guys about recones for my 2 8" assassins that i sent in a while ago. ive been emailing scott back and forth, but my last email was last week, and he told me he'd call me on monday for my card info. its now friday, and i still havent heard anything from fi. i tried calling today and left a message, but no reply...any updates for me? im desperately waiting for my two cute drivers to show up.

hey the other day my friend was moving his enclosure (with sub in it) and it slipped out of his hand and when it hit the floor the motor snapped rite off of the basket. so what im wondering is how much would a 18" basket and a recone kit be for his btl. the motor is daily, and universal... he would like it to be dual 1 ohm. it was fully loaded, 3rd magnet, ect. he wants it to be the same as it was. also he has a 18" 05 re xxx that is messing up and he is wondering about a recone kit for that too. tried sending you guys a pm but inbox is full. any help is vary much appreciated. So today I just receivied my first 18!!!!! An 18 fi q!!!! When I saw the size of my box I just gaped At it. It was just huge! The size of the sub is even crazyer. The thing is enormous! I was realy not expecting thing to be so heavy. So far the first impressions have been great so I caint wait to build a box for it. Fi is amazing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i was talking to scott a few weeks ago about my re-cone's and now im ready to get them and im not getting any e-mails or anything back.

yup it dont matter where i go or what i do, i can always stop and someone wants to get in......the end result is more vids for my site enjoy....the cleaner version will be up on my site a little later. Youtube will have to do till my admin gets home oh and the quad alts is the chit it is CRAZY loud now damn......subs arent getting hot at all.

Hey all im new here and have been eyeballing a fi btl 12 for a while now and would like to get yalls opinion on what all options to go with, my scenario will be just for listening to, no competitions just a daily sub, any opinions or comments would be great, and what about amps? i am currently running a 12 l7 in a 2.0 cubic ft ported box at 32 htz with a power accoustik amp have had this set up for bout 2 years and no problem, but i have heard people put down there amps alot....opinions or comments? Hey im selling my 15 Fi Q with BP Power in a 4 cubic ft. box and (4) 3" aero ports wrapped in ultra suede and tuned to 32hz. I wasn't selling on here unless someone desperately wants it but i was asking how much do you think i should ask for? I've had the stuff since march and never abused. The sub cost me like 350-360 i think and i have no idea what the box was though. i think it was like 300 or 350. thats where i got ripped. i told one of my friends 499 for both but for other people im thinking about raising it some? or is that a god price? i need some advice ASAP because im trying to selling this immediately so that i can take part in the Free Enclosure deal from Quent…

i was thinking of getting a BTL n2 15'', an ported box from this website: http://www.klausaudi...oofer-boxes.php , im not sure what amp im getting but something like a 2000W-2200W, then im getting new battery, big 3, and a high output alternator (250 amps), also im currently looking for new navigational system and speakers. i have a 2005 cadillac escalade esv so i got plenty of room. i was just wondering if anyone has any good ideas for the amp and speak system. i just need some decent speakers and amp. also what would you recommend for box volume?

I haven't been able to personally see a FI dust cap, but is there a way to change the color to something not offered by FI? Is it possible to just take some paint and paint over the white version with the color I want?
