Ok, here's my question..FI is obviously amazing. I want one!!! I'm driving a 99 Malibu and I want to put a 15"Q in. I'm trying to decide if it's worth it for me to build an ABC box, a standard ported box, or possibly a CRX box. I want clean and loud...don't care about the complexity of an ABC as I find it fun. My only problem is that I deisng an ABC box at 3.5cu ft, 30 hz tune, with 50 sq in of port area. I'm not sure if taht's enough port area. I will be powering the sub with an MTX 6500d. Any help would be great!!!

Hey i have a bl 18 powered by a jl 1000/1. all electrical upgrades are done (upgrading soon) anyways the sub saw 750 watta at the most, it was not beat at all. The other day it cut off in the middle of a song. When i pulled it out i saw that one of the tinsel leads are broke. How would i go about fixing this? is it covered under warranty? would soldering work? Thanks for the help

ok well i bought 2 subs a few months back and one of em ended up blowin. so i got scotts number and called him. he told me to send it in and theyd look at it and try n fix it. it has been about 2 months now since i sent it off and i havnt heard from them since. i have emailed scott and nick and ive tried calling scott and no answer what so ever. i understand they are busy but i would atleast think they could answer a phone. i mean seriously......2 months. hopefully one of them will answer me on here

I ordered a BL on the weekend, and got an answer on Sunday. I live in Canada so I can't order off the website. I ordered my sub(10" BL) and forgot to state the impedance. So in the email back he tells me what it'll cost, and asks me what impedance I want. This is Scott BTW. I tell him D1, because I was in a rush and completely blanked. Ever done that? I'm at work thinking "you cant wire d1 to 1 ohm..." kind of freaking out. In about a month it's going to be time to purchase and I'm stuck on this last aspect of the system. The sub. Will the FiQ work well with electronic music(breakbeats,trance, drum and bass) and rock music? What size sealed enclosure for primo SQ(tight clean bass NOT boomy? Ok if everything goes smooth I should have 4 ssd 12's. They are dual 2s, (the last version not the new ones) comming my way. The question I have for you guys is how many do you think I should use and what type of box. If its 4th or 6th order I will have to pay for a design (not a big deal). I have an Elemental Designs motor, I was told there is a recone that fits perfect for this motor.. I need a basket + a recone.. I got a BL 15" and i only got the cooling option. can it handle 1500W from a sundown saz1500d? is that a good amp? or would you recommend something else with less/more power?

i need some help. im using a sundown saz 2000 and i cant decide what subs to use. fi bl 15s or the nightshade 15s. im having a box made for which ever i decide and theyre goin in a focus hatchback....no wall tho i hear the bls are more musical . its my daily driver and ive never competed . just like loud music and people lookin at me like im nuts

Is 1800 watts rms too much for a BL daily in 2.25 cubes at 32 hz? also how loud are these subs? this will be in a regular cab silverado.

I updated the sticky section just now, and after sitting here for a few hours i'm taking a break lol. It explains all the available options with the subs and whatnot, hopefully ill be able to get some pictures and some "cookie cutter" boxes done soon. I am sending in my 12" bl and re-coning it into a 15 and i saw on the site that there is and extended lead time on the BL's so my question is will that still affect me since I am re-conning to a 15" and will be getting a new basket?

Pulled a 145.4dB at 47hz in the kick...Now too bad in my opinion considering the box is 8ft^3 net tuned to 33hz...The subs are getting about 800 watts each.. They definitely had a lot more low end than every other daily driving system that I heard at the comp.. Many people were interested in my subs, and I gave out Fi's website several times! Imagine I could get a 147 or so if I got another box that was more SPL oriented..That may be in my future plans.

Need a solid amp, roughly 4-5000w, around $1000 to power 2 18" BTLs. Ideas? What electrical am I going to need? Can I get away with 1 HO alt and a few batteries?

i have a rockford fosgate t30001db a 200 amp alt. a yellow top in front and a kinetiks hc2400 battery in back ive been buyin piece by piece now its time for the subs i want to buy sum fi's but dont know wich ones... is this amp not good enough for 2 15" BTL's fully loaded?? if not what would yall suggest?? thanks for the support

Does fi send an email or something saying your order has been sent or do they just send it...i ordered it about 8 days ago and i was just wondering...not being impatient im just wondering how it works.

i have tried to get ahould of somebody before i have had no luck.....i loved re then i got to fi and its discouraging to not be able to contact anybody.......all i have is a snapped tinsel lead and i was wondering about how i would go about sending it back to get fixed.....my local shop says either they cant fix it or if they can itll cost 175 and i know that some bs......i have to get this fixed asap cuz i have to do work at a bass comp in like 5 weeks.....i want everybody to find out what fi is about..... thank you Eric

I live in Iowa, i sent my 12" Q series in on Oct. 7th. I have sent 3 different emails to Fi and still have not heard a word back. The tracking number on the package i sent says it arrived on the 13th. I was just wondering if it was complete? All that it needed was a repaired Tinsel Lead from one of the positive terminals. I would really appreciate it if someone would contact me to let me know how things are going! Thanks
