question in title. wondering if there is any way to VISUALLY tell if a BTL has the daily versus the spl option. got a sub im looking to buy...but the dude doesnt know if the sub is daily or spl (he bought it from a guy named "beau" who goes by the name "astrolade" on caraudio.com) and i have no way of getting in contact with him.

So i've more less disappeared from here due to not having any sort of internet access...our internet went out on Friday, and has been down ever since. Everybody that has emailed me that i have gotten i have replied to, i don't have a clue what is going on on the forum, so questions here will be answered as soon as i can get back to it and get everything under control here on the home front. yup it dont matter where i go or what i do, i can always stop and someone wants to get in......the end result is more vids for my site enjoy....the cleaner version will be up on my site a little later. Youtube will have to do till my admin gets home oh and the quad alts is the chit it is CRAZY loud now damn......subs arent getting hot at all.

the T/S of the Fi SSD 15 with bp power, dual 1's......anyone?

I'm sure this has come up before, but I searched and didn't find anything. I'm designing my box to have 1.3cuft per speaker. What would change if I moved it up to 1.4 or 1.5? would it make much of a difference? Also while I'm here, for the BP power, the website says it "increase power handling from 200-500 Watts depending on the application. 
". In this application, being 1.3cuft sealed, would I be okay giving them 1300w? Thanks for any help.

Was wondering how much 2 BTL 18's setup Daily with Dual 4 coils would be after the first of the year? That 350 shipped deal from Meade brand new was sweet. I'm a noob to them so I honestly don't know if it was one...lol but after playing with that one I wanna get 2 thats for sure! I cant get a hold of anyone and heard this forum is the way to go. I ordered a BL on the weekend, and got an answer on Sunday. I live in Canada so I can't order off the website. I ordered my sub(10" BL) and forgot to state the impedance. So in the email back he tells me what it'll cost, and asks me what impedance I want. This is Scott BTW. I tell him D1, because I was in a rush and completely blanked. Ever done that? i purchased an SSD15 for my niece's car back in October i believe. built a nice ported enclosure around 3.5 cu/ft. i also installed a Kolossus Fleks 0 Gauge amp kit to an ASA800.2 powerbass amp. power at the amp was at 13.6 to 13.8 at full tilt. i also set the gain with a volt meter and tinkered with it by ear. i am no expert by any means, but i did a lot of reading on the subject of install to avoid any kind of clipping. anyways, i told her not to mess with the setting on the head unit. well, played around with her system several months later to find all the settings were jacked up, loud button on, bass boosted in the eq. changed anything back to where i had the…

what amp would be better for a 12" Bl with the BP Power? US Amps MD 1D (underrated at 1200w @ 1ohm) or US Amps MD 2D (underrated at 1500w @ 1ohm)... Also would the flatwind coil be worth the extra $20? And also what would be a good box size? I know it recommends anywhere from 1.8-2.5... but what would be about perfect?

Alright so im going to have a pretty big box in the back seat of my quad cab, 35w 31h 17d before displacement of the sub and wood. The cab in a 99 dodge really isnt big, so its a big box and big sub in a small space. What do you think the tuning should be? i want it to get loud and low, and i was thinking 30hz. (actually like 29.7 or something) opinions? Also the sub and port will be on the 31x35 side of the box on opposite ends. Or should i center the sub?

I updated the sticky section just now, and after sitting here for a few hours i'm taking a break lol. I have a 12" BL thats was dropped ans the basket broke right off the motor. I am planning on selling it and was wondering would you rather fix it yourself or buy it fixed? I am planning on JB Welding it back together. I will be selling 2. One is a month old and is perfectly fine. What do you guys think?? They are both 12" BL D2 w/Hyper Pole.

I have a 12'' fi q with the bp option in a downfiring box 2.5 cu ft tuned to 32 hz. I have a hifonics bxi 1208d powering it. I am worried that i am clipping the signal. I had the radio turned up to 25 ( goes up to 62) and everything sounded good and crisp but when i turn it up to 50, it seems like the bass isnt as loud and not as crisp. Idk if i have things set right. Here are the places i have things set two: Subsonic: Three o'clock LPF: 1 o'clock Gain: 12 o clock Bass Eq: 12 o clock I know hifonic amps are known for clipping and are pretty cheap. I just need some advice on what this is. I dont wanna fry my baby.
