This is my first post here. im building a sub box for a 15" Fi SSD. it hasnt got here yet and i need to know the cutout diameter for the hole that the SSD goes in. the box is 4 cu.ft. tuned to 38hz

What up guys! I know I have been a pain trying to plan my setup, been doing it forever and a day now, lol. For the longest time I didn't heed many of your warnings, but tonight for some reason all your warnings hit me. I was thinking of jumping from my two little 12" RF P3's to 2 15" BTLs fully loaded. Money, time, patience, and the willingness to upgrade wasn't my issue, it was the BIG jump factor. I don't think I am ready to take such a huge jump from two weaklings to two way above monsters....so instead I'm gonna go with 2 15" BL's. I am greatly appreciative for all the help that you guys have provided me and look forward to picking your brains soon for mids/high…

the cap on my 18" btl has a dent on it and i need a new one who can sale me 1?

Sup guys Given i have limited space in my ride i was wondering which of these boxes would be loudest: ported 5.3cuft after displacements @ 31hz or sealed 6.88cuft after sub displacement I could tear out the backseats which would give me plenty room to make huge boxes (16cuft) but im not really eager to do so. But i will if there's no real option. Im also just wondering if this will be louder/lower than my previous setup : 2 12" RF Punch HX2's ~ 4.3cuft @ 33hz PS. This is on a 1000wrms

Does fi send an email or something saying your order has been sent or do they just send it...i ordered it about 8 days ago and i was just wondering...not being impatient im just wondering how it works.

I have emailed fi many times about getting a recone and they would email me once or twice but never give me a price. I have a 15" BTL fully loaded with the 1 slug motor and need a recone quote for a 18" basket and recone shipped to 73110.

Will a fi audio ssd18 with a flatwond coil and bp power take 1600 watts daily? I would do a btl but that would be underpowered. if the fi can't take it, has anyone had experience with a 18" jaugernaut?

Is there a way to find out how much output I will lose if I go from 15" BLs to 12" BLs with the same variables on the same power?

I received my Q12 last week and finally had sometime this weekend to install it. It's in a 1995 Ford Thunderbird in a ported enclosure tuned to 32hz. It's running off a cadence TXA1000D. Door speakers are Infinity Kappa 682.7 (6x8 2ways...i know, i know...haha) and those are running off of a RF P400.4...Got everything hooked up sunday afternoon and all I have to say is "wow." I've owned a couple of other systems before, but this Q takes them all...hands down. It gets LOUD and still, it doesnt lose ANY quality! My roommate has to cover his ears when i crank it...(hes a girl though...haha) I've shown a couple of kids on campus who have "5000 watt" systems in their car…

Just ordered myself (2) 15 btls fully loaded...for once in my life I'm actually feelin patient becauase I have a strong feeling that its well worth the wait...my main concern though is if they are on back order do I still expect 3-7 business days for production or may I find myself waiting awhile? Also (2) RF T2000.1bds will be powering them...btl÷T200=good couple? (Birth certificates are both 2800s at 1 ohm) thanks!

Hey guys! So I just bought a brand new 2010 cobalt Lt 2 door and I am lookin to throw a 12" BTL in it! One problem is the trunk is Small!!!! My old sub box wont even fit and its not as beefy as an Fi it was an Orion hcca 10" But I really want this sub so I was thinking of getting the Fi built into the trunk Like Fiber glass or something. You guys are really helpful so I was wondering does this seem like a good idea to you? any other adivce perhaps? I would give you the trunk specs but its drark right now I can get them tomorrow. Has anybody tried na Fi in a custome trunk? thanks for any help!

ok so my old sub quit working and was smoking in the box right took it out and decided to play with it and is working again but absolulely stnks when played but seems to pound just as hard wtf is going on? is it ok or is it bad to play like that

I'm currently running an eD SQ10 in a tiny sealed stealth enclosure (see this thread in the eD forums for pictures) in the rear hatch of my Scion xA. It sounds ok but I'm looking for something a bit louder and lower. I'm considering replacing the hatch floor with 3/4" MDF and going with a 12" IB3 I should have just enough clearance for it. But, I've searched the forums and haven't seen any mention of the IB3. I'd probably pick up the SVC 2ohm version and put about 500 watts to it from a bridged Boston GT-22. i need some help. im using a sundown saz 2000 and i cant decide what subs to use. fi bl 15s or the nightshade 15s. im having a box made for which ever i decide and theyre goin in a focus hatchback....no wall tho i hear the bls are more musical . its my daily driver and ive never competed . just like loud music and people lookin at me like im nuts

my girlfriend recently*well like 2 months ago lol* scuffed her rim on a curb, now i don't see any bend in the rim or what not but there is visual marks on the rim for sure. Now for the past i'd say 2-3weeks she has been leaking air, the curb job wouldnt cause that would it? The rim would have to be bent for it to cause the tire to leak correcT?

i want o ask some questions about Fi Car Audio

So today I just receivied my first 18!!!!! An 18 fi q!!!! When I saw the size of my box I just gaped At it. It was just huge! The size of the sub is even crazyer. The thing is enormous! I was realy not expecting thing to be so heavy. So far the first impressions have been great so I caint wait to build a box for it. Fi is amazing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi everybody, I'm planning on reconing from 12 to 18's. But I'm a little confused, the subs are BL 12 D2 PC. The problem I'm having is the wire looks to be flatwind, I had taken pictures because the coil does not say FW. Also the shipping info does not say Flatwind, infact next to flatwind it says no...Help!! Thank you.

I ordered a 2 ohm DVC sub but I need a 1 ohm DVC sub. My invoice # I-17666/00. I sent an email, but I know it takes a couple days to read them and I placed the order 2 days ago. I hope I'm lucky and it's still early enough to change. I apologize for my stupidity :/

This might've been answered before, as most new topics in the forum usually have been, but I thought Fi didn't use to charge for shipping subs? Wasn't it included in the price of the sub before??
