Will a 12 bl sound good in a box 1.9 cuft tuned to bout 33 hz? Or should i get a q n put in a 2 cuft box sealed. Which louder? Im thinking of running 2 bls on a Aq2200.

Got a BTL 18'' and not sure where to make it face. Should i make it face the roof or make it face the back?

Wow. that describes it. Last night I heard a 15" btl ran off of 1500 watts and it was so loud. I just ordered a 15" bl on thursday and if my sub gets any where near as loud as that one im gonna be pretty happy. After getting that little taste of fi im impressed.

I emailed you guys about getting a recone done for a older style 12" BTL sub. I needed a broken lead tinsel fixed and the dustcap replaced but Nick said that you guys were going to do a full recone anyways. Nick was emailing back for a couple of emails and then he just stopped without giving me a price quote or address to send the sub and how to pay for it. I have emailed every email associated with Fi already. Nick email me back please. my email is [email protected]. Hi, i own a 15" dual 2 BL running off a xtr2400 old school orion amp. ATM i'm running 1200watts(4ohms) to my 15. I recently owned a xtr1000, which ran 1000watts at 1ohm to my 15(which is why i have the dual 2 setup, and im an idiot for not getting universal option). But anyways now that i own this beastly amp, i would like to get the most out of it. I am thinking of buying another dual 2 15 BL and being able to wire it to 2ohms OR selling(craigslist) my 15 and buying a new 15 BTL dual 1 of course. To sums things up, what would be better output, loudness, slammin' balls wise: 2 15 BL'S or 1 15 BTL. And im sorta on a money budget right now... Greatly appreciate yalls thoug…

hi its me again, i currently have a bl15 great sub, Ive seen people seem to like more the 18 inch subs better than 15" are 18 that much better, i see they need a big box but would the output be that much better if yes what percentage increase do you guys think i can get with a 18". Now my other question how can i make a box for one that is going to be in my caddy devilles trunk i cant go higher than 19 inches tall for the box and i dont think i would make it becuase the sub is 18" plus box material .75, so can i make a box facing up and port facing to the back of the trunk?? would that sound good in a car?? thanks again and comments are apreciated.

I've already seen the tracking information on UPS about the BTL18 and BTL15 that my Aunt ordered for me. I was kinda worried when I saw the shipping weight on both packages. One package weighed at 69lbs which i assumed was the BTL18, while the other weighed in at 55lbs. I was expecting the BTL18 to have a 72lb weight considering that its fully loaded and packaged with wood reinforcements as to having wood reinforcement is very important because im gonna have it shipped to the Philippines together with the BTL15. Im just too concerned about their weight because I was informed that the BTL18 should weigh around 72lbs while the BTL15 should weigh around 69lbs. and im startin…

i have a maximum of 42" wide x 12" high x 19.25" deep i can use keeping everything else stock. The amps will be mounted on top of the box but an extra Kinetik battery in the back WILL take up some of this box room. After some calculations, i came up with 2.8-3.0cuft NET after displacements for the 2 following setups- 3 10" Fi Qs SEALED off of 4,000w or... 2 10" Fi BLs PORTED at 34hz off of 3,000w I wish i could do 12s but i do not think subs and port up would sound good. PS- i dont have room to do 12s unless i aim them up and can only do them if i port up as well...i have no boxes to test how that would sound either...)

Ive got a single sp4 15 in a 5.7 cube box. It just doesnt seem to be as loud as it should. I dont really have a lot of space in the trunk. Right now its ported thru the seat and spose to be tuned to 35hz using round ports. Do i have the ports facing wrong direction cause ive tried a few different things and nothing helped. The usable room in the trunk is 34w 14h and 36d. And help would be great. Im new to this. But i can build a new box if need be

I have a 2004 GS300 and my trunk is sealed off from the cabin, and have never owned a car that seats didnt fold down and this cars' doesnt and doesnt have a passthrough through the rear arm rest either.. So this may be a stupid question but will i get enough bass in the cabin of my car? I plan on ordering a 12'' Fi BL dual 2ohm ported probably at 32hz.. 1000w at 1ohm.. Thanks

Money was sent last month, Apr. 11th. for a 12" BL with a few options. Order is to Canada, I tried e-mailing but no replies, and it's been two weeks since. I would like to know the status of my order, how can I do that properly?

Is this a good combo, I chose PDX because I currently have it, I also have a sound processor for it to adjust the bass because the pdx doesn't have one =/. I am getting rid of my 1243d Type X. Also it is going to be in the Type X box at 2.0 ft^3, 33-36hz, 1.82 net. Is that good?

so this message is to any Fi Car Audio worker so you guys had emailed me stating that it will take another month for my Fi SSD 12 will be sent to me... is there parts missing or is there just a delay in the system and will it really take another month

So, I get the general jist of an IB setup. Deaden the entire trunk, make a baffle to hold the sub(s) that completely seals the trunk from the rest of the car. Here is my question though, what do i do with the rear deck. I hear of people doing a lot of things regarding it, but I really have no clue what to do, if anything. Help would be great as this is my very first IB setup. I am sure more questions will come about front stage, but later. Or do you think 2 15" Q's sealed would sound better. I have only ever had ported and am ready for a postive change while making room in my trunk, tired of having no room. Thank YOu

2 10" SSD's off of 1200 watts, any benefit to adding BP power to them besides that i could add more power later? would it make the subs to stiff? would they not be as loud? would the add'ed cooling and spider make the sub's last longer? thank you for your time and, i hit 142.* with my 15" Q in a 2.8 cuft aero port box. it makes me happy wile sounding great. *bad white boy dance*
