I emailed scott and he got back with me on a price, and emailed him back but haven't got a reply. just wondering if i should write anything on the package as to why i'm sending them to him? and just wondering what the lead time would be from the time FI gets it till the time i receive them back?? Just picked up one my BTL motors, plan on getting another soon. And I am working on a new box as well. I will be giving a Sundown3000 to each BTL, my question is can I safely tune the box low? I wanted to tune around 29-30hz but I have been told tuning that low with that much power on them is not a good idea.

I'm interested in buying one but would like to hear it before I cough up the money. Anyone in Northern VA or DC with a Q12 or something similar.

I'm a competitor in MECA at my state finals I managed to reach 154.4 at the headrest using two 15 in btls and using 2 American bass 500.1s. I can only give high praises to the newer style BTLs It took a little tweeking to get them there but with any new setup it takes work to get it loud. After about 75 burps I have on the subs with about 7500 watts to the pair these subs are still like new no signs of wear

im lookin into buyin an fi bl, and i have an RF T10001bd amp rated at 1486 watts at 1 ohm, would this be enough power for a daily BL if it is wat options should i consider?? i was thinkin get just the cooling (i also got a kicker zx1500.1 rated at 1706 watts at 2 ohms, and i would get the sub loaded w/out extreme leads) thanks

I am redoing my system so decided to try some new subs. Fi Car Audio SSD 12 - D2 x 4. The build quality on these drivers seem great. Suspension is stiff, loads stiffer than my current RE Audio SR's. I've got my own custom box design which is a bit secret at the moment, there will be more details about this later. This will be a streetpounder style system. I have ~3KW :-) There will be more pics as the build continues.

I am going to be purchasing a 15 Fi Q, and powering it with a Sundown Audio SAE-1200D. I wanted to ask what ohm sub I should order and if the BP option is a good choice. The amp does 1200x1 @ 1 ohm. i was going to build a 2.5ft sealed enclosure, suggestions? im rollin a 94 s10 blazer. thanks homies.

Wanting to try 2 BL 18's and will have about 1600wrms going to each sub. Is that too much? if not, which options should i select for them to perform well with that much power. It will be a daily beater/bass racer..box will probably be around 10 cubes net crx style with about 150 sq inches of port if this helps at all.

I was wondering how a Fi Q12" sub would perform in a 4.2ft^3 enclosure tuned at 21hz? I would be giving 2 of them each in their own 4.2ft^3 enclosures 1000 watts each from a crown XLS2500 amplifier. Would this perform well or are their better sub options? They would have a subsonic filter at 21hz and then a LP at 80hz. My surround speakers can easily keep up with almost any sub combination out there considering I spent about $4,000 on DIY towers and DIY center channel alone... I hope this being a car audio forum it doesnt bother you guys me asking about home audio... I know a lot of guys using car subs for home theatre.

I know you have old parts laying around from subs you have worked on in the past. Any chance you have any RE RE series voice coils laying around? Yes I realize they are cheap subs and probably not worth the recone. I think I bought them for 56 shipped each(4). But if I get bored one day it could be fun. Anyway, let me know. If not no big deal

***Attention Fi Car Audio Staffs!*** This is a notice regarding the future ordering of two Fi BTL Subs. one 15" BTL (dual 2, cooling option, daily, universal) and one 18" BTL (dual 2, cooling, 3rd magnet, HiXmCoil, Daily, universal). Well, I planned on doing a 3cuft box ported to 33hz in my lincoln ls. As usual I have read a lot about the sub before purchasing it, and in several different locations it has said that i should use the flatwind coil option, however in different locations i have also read just the opposite, it said that i should use the "stock" copper coil for a ported enclosure... i figured i would be able to get the best advice here and the most accurate information. Also what about the cooling option? I have nothing against buying a decent amp, i would get a BL or something but the SSD is a great daily and i drive an hour to work and a hour home so i need a daily lol... If i need to f…

I updated the sticky section just now, and after sitting here for a few hours i'm taking a break lol. does anyone know if turning my sub around and mounting it to the box upsidedown harm the sub does it affect the sub sound?

..own one 12 in FI Q which i bought used, getting ready to purchase another. Wondering if there is a way to tell if the speaker i already own has the bp option so i can have matching subs... any ideas?
