hey guys so this will be my first box build. I have 18in fibl dual 1ohm with a jbl gto 1200.1 watts 1114 watts rms at 2ohm. my max demsions are 37L by 20W by 15 Depth. Im using Re enclourse calculater. But i want to know whats a good port area size and port width and any other factors that i should be looking for liiek what it should be tuned at. I want it to sound loud, hit lows, and have good air flow. If you guys could help id appreciate it

I haven't been able to personally see a FI dust cap, but is there a way to change the color to something not offered by FI? Is it possible to just take some paint and paint over the white version with the color I want?

Hey guys, been awhile since I have been on here to pick your brains. I had my Charger SRT, got it set up nicely, and realized I really dislike cars so I sold it and got a F150, 4 door. Every truck I have had I put a fiberglass lid on the back and did a blowthrough going into the cab. I have always been happy with that, but could never haul anything. In keeping with a truck theme, I am planning on keeping the back open this time. To get a decent amount of bass I would like to rip out the back seat and put two individual seat in there and build a custom fiberglass console running up to the front seat, maybe a little further. what's the best way to mount a sub box to the trunk

Hi i was wondering if somebody know the pecifications of a fully loaded btl 18?? im getting ready to build a box for it but fi has taking the old btl out of the website and i know the pecs, does anybody knows them thanks.

im looking to get a 15 btl. should i go 1 or 2 ohm and amp? and yellow top? and anything else you could suggest?

Sup guys this is just another thread on my box problem that has been solved finally. Most of you guys probably saw it before since there isn't a crazy amount of new threads everyday. Just wanted to say thanks to scoot and fi for helping me get some materials i needed to get my sub up and running for a usaci competition today. Got 3rd place with a 146.9 but more importantly had a blast.

Just got the BTL fully loaded 18" in. it's in a transmission line box in the back of my envoy XL. taking up all my trunk space along with the removal of the third row. being powered with Audio Que's 2200D amp. was wondering what comps i should be looking at for my doors and im putting a row of 6x9's facing forward behind the headrests of the second row on top of the box for some extra midbass. was wondering if anyone could give me a hand? not looking to spend over 300 for each set of comps and ill drop probably around the same for the 6x9 pairs. i've been looking at the kappa perfect 6.1's by infinity and audioque's component sets. thanks for the help. -d.kish

Looking for some dimensions for a 15Q. It will be powered by a sundown saz-1000d. Its going into a 2008 scion xb. I would say I have about 2'x2'x4' area to work with. According to specs it should be 2-2.5 cubic feet. So probably stay around the 2.5 to account for displacement. I know you guys are miracle workers. I tried to remember to put as much info as possible I know people leave stuff out all the time.

Hey, wuts up. I've got a 12" Bl in a box that is 2.4 before displacement. Right now it is tuned to 30 hz, and I absolutely love it. However, would something like a 35hz or 38hz tune have a higher output for competition? I'm running about 800 watts to the sub right now.

i have a lanzar OPTI 6000d- i have purchased 2 x 18 inch btl fully loaded, however i need help building an encloser. Can any one assist me??? i have a 2004 lincoln navigator. what type of encloser should i use???? im looking for something that pounds!!!

So i have been reading on and on about different organizations and competitions and am tired, so I thought I would just ask and see if someone knows. Is there a category that I will be competing in with the following setup. This is in a cut through of a truck with a camper shell. 4 18" BTLs in a wall 2 amps, 1 for each set of BTLs other amps for mids and highs As I said, I am tired of reading. The few times I thought i figured out that i could compete in a certain event there was a little note saying a truck with a cuthrough was not allowed. are there any where a truck cut through is allowed?? I am gona put 2 18'' Fi Q in my truck. I am not sure what to buy as a amp should i buy like the sax3500 or 2 sax1500(or propose anything) And would i need a extra battery for that or its fine?
