I am gona put 2 18'' Fi Q in my truck. I am not sure what to buy as a amp should i buy like the sax3500 or 2 sax1500(or propose anything) And would i need a extra battery for that or its fine?

Just wanted to say thanks to scoot and fi for helping me get some materials i needed to get my sub up and running for a usaci competition today. Got 3rd place with a 146.9 but more importantly had a blast.

So i have been reading on and on about different organizations and competitions and am tired, so I thought I would just ask and see if someone knows. Is there a category that I will be competing in with the following setup. This is in a cut through of a truck with a camper shell. 4 18" BTLs in a wall 2 amps, 1 for each set of BTLs other amps for mids and highs As I said, I am tired of reading. The few times I thought i figured out that i could compete in a certain event there was a little note saying a truck with a cuthrough was not allowed. are there any where a truck cut through is allowed?? Right now I have 2 15" Fully loaded Fi BTL's old triple stack magnets. One needs a recone. They are daily versions as well. How do I know if I need to get the flat wind coil or the xmax coil? Assuming I need to get the same as my other one I dont know what it is cause I got it used. Would fully loaded mean mine have the xmax coil? Thanks!

I noticed alot of people are having FI recone their other brand name subs, I am wondering if this could be done to one of mine I have sitting around. I have a Soundstream T2 Tarantula 10" DVC 1 ohm 900 watts rms. It does have 3" coils, can FI recone this? If so, how would this change the sub from its original configuration, or how would it change the T/S specs of the sub if at all? I have a 10" BL right now, with only the daily and universal options, could FI recone the T2 so it could run with the BL in the same enclosure? I want a sub that can be wired for 1ohm I ordered dual 1ohm 15 q with bp did i mess up?

I have an 89 Mercury Tracer, I have 7.7 cubic ft (internal volume) {39 in W, 23 in H, 18 in D} I would like the box to be tuned to about 32 HZ. I will be running about 3500 watts to the sub. any help would be appreciated, I do not know that much about tuning an enclosure.

Looking for some dimensions for a 15Q. It will be powered by a sundown saz-1000d. Its going into a 2008 scion xb. I would say I have about 2'x2'x4' area to work with. According to specs it should be 2-2.5 cubic feet. So probably stay around the 2.5 to account for displacement. I know you guys are miracle workers. I tried to remember to put as much info as possible I know people leave stuff out all the time.

I was wanting to get a Q but then I looked at the new BL and it looked pretty much the same. But do they have the same SQ? I would put the options of cooling, flatwind, and universal.

Im pretty sure ive got a blown Avalanche. It slightly vibrates when powered, starts to smell, and makes a screaching sound at time. Anyways how much is it to reconed, its a 12? How much if i get a larger basket and get it reconed to a 15 or 18?

So, all i have exp with are the typical square ports that are commonly seen. I have no idea about these nice little round ports that occasionally pop out at me. Can yall give me some info on these. I kinda like the way they look and am now kinda thinkin of givin them a try on my girls little car. any info would be great. as i said, i have no clue as to anything about them at all.

so around this christmas im debating on wether 1 btl 18 or 2 bl 18's would be louder, i want LOUD. I know that the btl is fi's loudest sub but 2 18's have more cone area, ill be running 1 saz3000D either way i go. what do yall think?

Here is a photography project I did titled "Speakers of Nature." The idea was that the speakers I use in my car have been applied to nature to contrast the uncanny replication of sound that speakers can make to that of something so natural sounding that you would never have known it to be replicated in the first place. Well all im waiting on is the second d3100 which ill have next weekend and im calling ohio gen for an alt right after i post this. and yeah those are audiopipe 30001d's but they are the newer model cea rated ones. i know not the cleanest power but should slam pretty nice. crap i forgot to throw in pics of the extra decals and fi hat i got with my 2nd sub since i waited patiently . I have looked up several different options to go with next, right now i have 1 bl 12" with 1 saz1500d. I am used to having just jl, kicker, or rockford stuff, so all this fi and sundown stuff is hard to make a decision. I dont want to have to run another 1500d really, can if really needed. How would 1 1500d run to ssd 18"s, ok, decent?
