Does anyone have the parameters for the older 15" BTL's?

well i have seen alot of ppl asking for some weird recones lol so i thought id throw mine in too CAN YOU RECONE THIS JL W6 18" WITH FI PARTS???????????

had some broken tinsel leads on a btl. no warranty on these subs, im the 3rd owner, sub was even reconed by someone else before i bought it, and damage had all evidence that looked like user error on my part (which wasnt but i can guarantee you kicker, RF, eclipse etc would use this to save on warranty costs etc) and yet Scott STILL sent me 4 brand new tinsels for the BTL. no cost to me, no shipping cost....nothing. i just want to let the people at FI and all you bass heads know that this forum is awesome. the people here are a lot nicer so far and i get quick and knowledgable answers to my questions( and there will be more) and most of all i havent seen any of the petty bickering and put downs that i see on another popular excursion forum. i am glad i found this place. see now ive gone and gotten all emo on ya.

I am curious what some of you are getting in a sealed setup with you Q's...my wife is kinda wanting a fairly loud setup (loud in the sense of volume, not db output)...I guess the term would be considered LSQ. Well, she wants to know what kind of numbers your subs are putting up in a sealed setup. Thank You

I have a 2004 GS300 and my trunk is sealed off from the cabin, and have never owned a car that seats didnt fold down and this cars' doesnt and doesnt have a passthrough through the rear arm rest either.. So this may be a stupid question but will i get enough bass in the cabin of my car? I plan on ordering a 12'' Fi BL dual 2ohm ported probably at 32hz.. 1000w at 1ohm.. Thanks

well, i got on fi site to order my ssd 18's, and noticed first that there was no charge now for the cooling option on the bl's. When did they change it, and does anybody know if they have the magnets or whatever they were waiting on for the BL's? I may be able to just go ahead and get the BL now, well order one now and one in couple weeks. thanks

Hey Nick or Scott ... need some help with an MT, I need a recone by the 4th for a local sound off (if I can get it next-day'd or 3 day guarantee UPS or whatever) but was wondering what options I'd have when it come down to the recone ... I'm throwing ~4k at the sub for burps, I want a dual .7 instead of the dual 1.4 it is now so I can run it at 1.4 or .35 for burps, but suspension/coil wise could it be upgraded? Also as far as the spiders are concerned upgrading to like 5 or 7 layer woven? I sent Nick an email yesterday or the day before ... just need this quick, so I hope it didn't find the spam filter

I recieved my order today or part of it. Can someone please look into this? I came home to 3 woofers on my porch, I can't beleive the shipment was not made to sign for! I ordered 4-15" btl's and got 3!!!

First the system: Right now I plan on doing 2 12's ported or 2 10's ported, Q's of course. 2k watts total. I will be running lots of mids and highs for "look" purposes as I am hoping to compete in shows, so I imagine around 1k watts, depending on stuff. I have a 160 amp alt and the stock battery is a 730 ampere battery. I already plan on doing big 3. I will probably throw in an extra battery as well. Will I need a bigger alt or will a 160 amp alt work? I know it brings a lot of other factors in. My amps are more than likely gonna be RF amps cause I can get a little deal on them. Any other suggestions or ideas to ensure I have adequate power would be great.…

Whats up Everyone, Im new to this site, and hope to gain alot of knowledge from you all. I have a 2004 Escalde, and in trying to decide if i should go with 8 BTL 12s or 4 BTL 15s. I have two Soundstream 10000D amps, 8 kinetick 2400 batts, and a 2nd alternator for the additional batteries. I was running the solo x 18 but im ready to add more cone area and go for a different sound as well as move some serious air. Im not trying to build a wall tho. Ive been doing some reading and im hoping that these woofers will give me what i want. Any suggestions would be great appreciated..thanks in advance. G

so i have a 15" dual 2 ohm Fi Q, my sundown sae-1200d is gonna get repaired. i picked up a memphis mojo 2000 that is a 2 ohm amp. i currently have the Q wired up to a 4 ohm load and is hooked up. im just wondering why it does not get that loud? is it because it's wired to 4ohms? am i not getting the full power of the sub?.or is it because the sub is new and it's the first time it's seen power?. it's just weird becuase i can turn my kenwood deck up quite a bit., and it wont get as loud as i thought it would. some songs it will sound loud...maybe just wait it off and let the sub break in first? any help is appreciated, especially if you been down this road with the same sub…

Ok, i am selling my bl 18's here locally over next week or so. Should I wait for the 22" FI subs or go ahead and try the IA DP 21"? Thing is I really dont want to wait awhile before gettin new subs

Will a 12 bl sound good in a box 1.9 cuft tuned to bout 33 hz? Or should i get a q n put in a 2 cuft box sealed. Which louder? Im thinking of running 2 bls on a Aq2200.

I'm interested in buying one but would like to hear it before I cough up the money. Anyone in Northern VA or DC with a Q12 or something similar.

So, all i have exp with are the typical square ports that are commonly seen. I have no idea about these nice little round ports that occasionally pop out at me. Can yall give me some info on these. I kinda like the way they look and am now kinda thinkin of givin them a try on my girls little car. any info would be great. as i said, i have no clue as to anything about them at all.
