General Fi

So, all i have exp with are the typical square ports that are commonly seen. I have no idea about these nice little round ports that occasionally pop out at me. Can yall give me some info on these. I kinda like the way they look and am now kinda thinkin of givin them a try on my girls little car. any info would be great. as i said, i have no clue as to anything about them at all.

I noticed alot of people are having FI recone their other brand name subs, I am wondering if this could be done to one of mine I have sitting around. I have a Soundstream T2 Tarantula 10" DVC 1 ohm 900 watts rms. It does have 3" coils, can FI recone this? If so, how would this change the sub from its original configuration, or how would it change the T/S specs of the sub if at all? I have a 10" BL right now, with only the daily and universal options, could FI recone the T2 so it could run with the BL in the same enclosure? i have a lanzar OPTI 6000d- i have purchased 2 x 18 inch btl fully loaded, however i need help building an encloser. Can any one assist me??? i have a 2004 lincoln navigator. what type of encloser should i use???? im looking for something that pounds!!!

I Have a fully loaded BTL 15" Running on an SAZ-3000D my question is will getting another one make that much more of a difference? since they will both be running off the same amp. Eventually i plan on getting another SAZ-3000D when money will allow but since i only have 1 3000D will sending 1200-1500 watts to each be louder than if i sent 2500-3000 watts to 1 ?

i was wondering if you have had a chance to look at my 10 q sent in for lead wires

so i have a 15" dual 2 ohm Fi Q, my sundown sae-1200d is gonna get repaired. i picked up a memphis mojo 2000 that is a 2 ohm amp. i currently have the Q wired up to a 4 ohm load and is hooked up. im just wondering why it does not get that loud? is it because it's wired to 4ohms? am i not getting the full power of the sub?.or is it because the sub is new and it's the first time it's seen power?. it's just weird becuase i can turn my kenwood deck up quite a bit., and it wont get as loud as i thought it would. some songs it will sound loud...maybe just wait it off and let the sub break in first? any help is appreciated, especially if you been down this road with the same sub…

Well all im waiting on is the second d3100 which ill have next weekend and im calling ohio gen for an alt right after i post this. and yeah those are audiopipe 30001d's but they are the newer model cea rated ones. i know not the cleanest power but should slam pretty nice. crap i forgot to throw in pics of the extra decals and fi hat i got with my 2nd sub since i waited patiently . I thought it was a pretty cool gesture, thanks fi.

Im asking this question on here because i cant seem to get fi to email me back, but im wondering before i order, is a 7 cube ported box too small for 2 btl 15s? if not, what HZ would it need to be tuned to?. i figured it might be a bit small so ill probably have to get 12's but i have never played with these subs..thanks

hi i need some help picking an fi sub for my amp i have a shift 1000rms 2000max at 1ohm i keep blowing subs and i want an fi sub can some one help me choose one that wont blow plus i want one that will shake the windows witch one would you recomend for playing loud and for long pereods of time?

I will have ~5.4 cubes and 87" of port. What will get louder/perform better, 12s or 15s? BTW they will be BTLs with ~3kw each. I know it would be starving for the 15s, but not sure if the cone area would conteract that.
