Just added a new option to the SSD, Q, BL, and BTL lineup with colored logos for the dustcaps. Currently we have white, silver, blue, ice blue, red, yellow, green, and burgundy. We will be adding brushed aluminum and carbon fiber next week to the color list. Ill get the web designer to forward the color chart he is doing for the tech section and post it here as well. Just another way to add a your custom touch to the Fi lineup. Some of the colors (no white or silver as well... you should know what white and silver look like ) We will be adding "carbon fiber" and brushed aluminum shortly as well. Thanks, Scott

How long will it take to get my sub? For all Fi subs it is a 3-7 business day lead time. As all drivers are custom made when the order is placed (started the next business day if the order is placed after 12pm). Due to the ever increasing number of daily orders, we have had to change from our initial manufacturing flow process to one that is slightly more flexible and should be stable for the long term regardless of the number of orders received daily. Once we have received payment (and it has cleared) and the building process begins you will be emailed a tracking number via UPS (Quantum View). It Will say something to the extent of "Billing information received". This…

Hey guys, I know you guys are super busy but I got a few ??'s for you. I'm going to be buying either a 15" or 18" BTL in the next 2-3 days, but I came across a used 18" BTL with a cracked basket. The part that is cracked is the part that the surround is glued to. They are very small. It was juts reconed and the tinsels arent even soldered on yet. My question is, if i were to replace the basket, would i have to cut the spider therefore needing another recone, or can I remove the cone without damage? If I cant do it with out damaging it, Can you tell me how much a new 18" basket and recone is? and also how much a 15" basket and recone would be? Thanks for your time and hel…

My pre-09 SSD motors have "custom sealed" written on the top of the motor. Does this mean they have the high qts option? They are also copper coils. Any input?

Can you guys at Fi build passive radiators that have stupid amounts of displacement on a 12 or 15" frame? I can get some 18's, but they're too tall for my purposes (I think). I don't have my new car yet, so I'm attempting to draw out something insanely different

Im looking to do a similar swap like Chris did from his TDXs to a "Q"....... I plan on using my eD 9.1 for power and I am having Woodlawn make me a small ported enclosure for my Silverado...... Musicly all i listen to is classic rock,70s,80s...old school disco and new wave (yea yea,im old) I love my TDX in my little hatchback but its very large in depth and hard to make fit the truck As for comps,im still searching but it looks like a set of DLS UP6s are in my future w 150x2 for power.... Being into SQ and liking it loud - is the Q the way to go,maybe one of FI's other offerings? thoughts

Hey Guys I have a 03 Yukon Denali that i would like to build a system for. I'm debating on whether four 15 BTL will be better ground pounder then two 18 BTL? I do know that power has one thing to do with it and i will be running two Sundown Audio SAZ-3500D, i will have a big 3, with 2 Alts, and 2-3 Powermaster 3100 and a smaller Powermaster up front. All the subs will be fully loaded, and as far as a box i will have Fisher Customs make a box or Pound that Sound. I am open for all suggesting's to change out any thing or add any thing. Thanks Guys...

NOTICE: For the next week, there is going to be a delay on calls and emails due to Shawn going into major leg surgery as I type this. For the past 2 weeks he has been answering as many emails and calls as he can from his hospital bed. Due to this life changing surgery, he will be unable to get to all the emails and calls for a few days, so those who are wondering what is going on, please be aware of this and take it into consideration. If you know Shawn at all, keep him in your thoughts while he goes through this. Thank you.

Ok so today my dual 1 SSD 18 stopped working for seemingly no reason during very low volume music. The sub is not frozen. I checked the sub with a battery and it did nothing, checked all wires etc. etc. I will check the coils on my multimeter when I get to work tomorrow. The box is build to the specs of the sub 7cu.ft. @ 32hz. Powered with a Fosgate t1500-bd (2ohms and very conservative gain). The coils look normal to me, not black or even dark in any way. Sub doesn't and never did smell like burnt coils. I'm thinking the coil's glue failed. I'm stumped on this really as I've been good to this sub and only had it for a few months. I hope Fi will take care of me and warran…

Also which sub would be best to get for an overall better sub? The fully loaded BTL18 or the RE MX18? the mx looks mean but both seem like good subs.

today i went to my local car audio shop to see how much theywould charge me to build me a simple port box for my fi bl 18. i told them i want 7cu .ft box tune to 32 hz and sub up and port to the back. they told me i couldnt fit a box that big in a 1991 ford explorer. they told me i should move my box closer to the front and then they showed me pics of a fake wall they did. it looks good but should i pay $400 for a wall but the box and port is all done with the wall?

Dose Fi still make the 08 models or do they only make the 09 models now. Cause i want to get another 15 and i have a 08 model that means i would have to sell the one i have and buy two 09 models. I mean it wouldn't be a bad thing but i just don't want to deal with the hassle of trying to find someone that will buy my sub. Thanks, Kasey
