Im leaning towards an FI Q 12 in a sealed box(mainly concerned with SQ). Will it work well with this box? http://www.mtx.com/thunderforms/p_32/Mustang_2005_2011/show.html I really like the way its designed to fit in my car and dont want to shell out the extra $$$ for a custom box in the same spot. What options should I get on the Q? I'll be pushing it with a JBL 600.1 amp. Thank you.

i love the ssd's but i just found a great deal on some w6 and i really would like peoples honest opinion on which subs would be best in a sealed enclosure. i heard the w6 is awesome so just let me know what you guys think

My buddy just sold me his SSD 12's already in a ported box at about 6 cu. He poked two holes in the surround of one speaker, I knew of this prior to buying them from him. I'm wondering what my options are. I do not want to re-cone it myself, I would like to send it in. However, he has had these subs for quite sometime, I'm almost positive the warranty has already expired. ANY SUGGESTIONS???

Hey guys, just want to be safe and know the product and company completely before i decide to drop some decent money on it. When looking through the different woofer types and categories, i found a bit of concern (hopefully false concern) to the fact that all products have extended due dates. I see that these delays are due to U.S steel delays and new forging supplies. I have decided to buy the Fi Q10. It was a tough decision between that and the IDMax 10, I actually decided on the Fi because my custom box is very small, I hope it will give me great performance in this small box (also it fits, the mounting depth on the IDMax is a little too long). Anyway, my question is: should I get the BP power option if I am NOT going to install the sub inverted. Someone on the CAF forum said I would have to install it inverted to get the benefit of the BP option. I am running an Orion 1200D amp, I will get the dual 2 and run the amp at 1 ohm, would be about 1200 watts max (I may not set the gains that high). Should I get the BP power option or …

Ok my Fully loaded Fi BTL 18 started making a rattle noise coming from the subwoofer. still hits hard but when it hit the highs you can hear a pretty loud rattle from the sub. lemme kno if you kno what it is

hi i want to buy a fi bl 12 maybe with the cooling and flat wind and i wanted to know if i could run it safely with my hifonics hfi 1500d and also the box is 2.8 cubes its all going in a 04 gto and also my headunit is a pioneer avh 3200 and it has this loudness setting should it be off or what should it be on and any help on setting the gain i think the headunit is 4v

Im thinking about buying two 18" bl's to replace my two 12" l7s (sound like shit). I have a brand new 2011 avalanche i would be putting these in. Id be using the trunk and i dont care if i took up every bit of that trunk. I should have plenty of room in there to put the recommended enclosure in yes? or would i have to get 2 15"? Also I know the bl's will shit on them as far as sq is concerned, but would the bls be that much louder? Ill be using these for daily driving, not competition. So, I've finally gotten an idea of what I want. I'm really looking into the Fi BL 15'' subwoofer. I'm going to be pushing it with a Sundown SAX-1200. But, I've heard that the Q is almost a better alternative. Could someone please help me on which one to decide? And where could I get an enclosure that would really make the sub loud? ok so i got my bl today, i ordered the dual 1 ohm and wired it up in series to get a 2ohm load. I have a RF t1000bdcp which puts out 1400 watts at 2ohms. so i went to hook it up and play it with the gain set half way no bass boost and the infrasonic filter is set at 28hz with a box tuning of 33hz at 2.5cbft. When i turned it on to play it you can barely even hear it?? I dont know whats wrong but i had a power acoustik 10 in there before and it hit waaayy harder then my new bl. I know i wired it up right i hooked up a wire from neg on one side to pos on other side, then pos to amp pos and neg to amp neg. I am looking into getting a pair of FI BL 12" dual 1 ohm subs for daily use. I will be using either a 2100 watt rms amp or a 2400 watt rms amp. Or, should I go with more power? I know for certain that I will be getting the daily, p chamfer and hyper pole options. I am unsure about the cooling, extreme lead and flatwind options. I have heard that the cooling option will decrease the power of the driver and also, that the flatwind coil is a no-no for daily applications. Is this true? Now, for the amp dilemma, should I go with 2100 or 2400? If i used 2100, I will not get all the above options I previously mentioned, just p chamfer and prob hyper pole. If i go 2400, I will ge…

My friend is getting one, and I suggested to him a mb quart amp running 400 watts rms. Would it be overkill to push the envelope to 500rms? He was asking me, but I am not the expert. Im pretty sure he isnt gain happy, but I am just curious if 500 would be fine, and to watch the gains, or 500 at all? ok i bought a fi btl n2 a little more than a month ago i built a box spec from this web site and all was well at first...i have a brand new alt the big 3 upgrade and a soundstream 2000d and two yellow tops i tuned my amp with a o-scope and i always watch my voltage and it never drops below 13.5....but the speaker pops now on certain low notes and it doesnt do it all the time....is there something wrong with the sub??? im not a pro but i know alot about car stereo (maybe not as much as most of yall) but it ohms out just fine and i never run it hard for very long....and when i checked the power going into is it was 1237 watts @1 ohm.....any advice would help cause i dont wa…

Right now i have the new RF t1000bdcp. i got the dual 1 ohm which i can wire to either .5 or 2ohms. my RF puts out about 1400 watts @ 2ohms. i was thinking about maybe going with a aq2200 and wiring it to 2 ohms and would be getting around 1500 i thinking?? which amp would you guys choose??

looking to put some subs in my 86 camaro just wonder if id have enough airspace in my rear truck space where ttops are usual stored a box i found is WIDTH= 41-1/2"BOTTOM DEPTH= 11-3/4" TOP DEPTH= 17-1/2" HEIGHT=15-1/4" thats just to give you an idea of the space i have but ill be getting a custom box made for the subs

Ok so i had ordered my 12" FI BL on march 15th and i never got a comfimation email from fi. So i went to my email and sent them an email asking about when do they think they will have it shipped as an estimate. THe only thing i got back from them was, "Thank you for your email. Currently we are experiencing VERY high email volume and are somewhat delayed in our responses." Since then ic emailed then twice and still nothing. so could someone who has ordered the fi bl recently and has got it delivered please help me out on when i should expect my sub to arrive because fi still hasnt helped me out on this situation, thanks

Whats the current build time for the X 12? Also, are they better sealed or ported? Looking for a good SQ setup that can get somewhat loud. How does the X compare to other subs in its class, like the DCON?

Hello every one Well like the tittle says I ordered a recone kit from fi and I haven't gotten any kind of response, I went thru all the process and paid with PayPal they still have not taken the money out of my bank account.
