Hey everyone thanks for reading this. This isn't my first go round with putting a system in a car just the first time I have been in this type of situation. Yesterday I ordered a SSD12 with Dual 2, FW and BP, already have the car wired with 1/0 Gauge, a 2.1 cuft box at 34hz built that was actually going to be for a different subwoofer, but recently found out about Fi and was completely smitten by the product, plus it would work in the box I had built so I got it. Now knowing that RMS on the SSD is 800w I don't really want to pass up the deal I have had presented. A friend of mine had purchased a complete system that he was going to install into his truck but just got …

Hello guys new to the forum, but hopefully stay here for a while. I have 2 old Rockford 15" Power HX2s but when I put them in my new car (09 Lancer) I never bolted them down and the other day I accelerated and they slid to the back of the trunk and one of the subs moving hit the back of the trunk lid and got rockfcked up. Anyways the system was cool in my other car but it was just too big for this car anyways so I was selling it. I have been looking around now and I think my best bet is to go with Fi. I have a Rockford P1000-1BD (1000RMS @ 1ohm) amplifier which I plan to use when I buy the Fi. Anyways on the birthsheet the amplifier is 1471 RMS @ 1 ohm so this is the mai…

This may be a stupid question but this has kinda thrown me off. When buying a dual 1 ohm sub does that make the sub 2 ohm or just 1 ohm?? Would the dual 1 ohm be 0.5 ohms in parallel? Thanks!

Which one of these will be louder with more """"SQL""""? which one will have deeper bass? 2 12" Fi IB3 on the rear deck of my Acura tsx or 3Pioneer Primeer Champion Pro 10" in a seald box @.75 cuft each? also.. it says the IB3 handles 550 rms @ 20hz ....its that the max rms u can put to the sub.. or does it say that because its excursion limited there?... if so.. whats is it's max reccomended rms power thermal wise? your opinion and feedback is welcome... thanx

I see that the "cooling" option increases the power handling 200-500 watts. But i'm not sure how. Is it because it allows it to run cooler so u can push it harder or is it because it is harder for the amp to push allowing it to up the power handling? Also I don't know if I should get the "I Heat Ring" option or not. I see it says it will help overall transient response and will help it hit higher frequences, but don't know if that is good for sq or what exactly it means or does. Will it make the sub have more of a peak or not. I am looking to stay as flat as possible as this is an sq sub and dont want to get the heat ring if it will make the sub have more of a peak …

What do you think of a 12" Fi SSD with Flatwind coils and BP Power? --- And how do you know if they have these or not? What do you think the RMS of it is, and also how much would you pay for one without a box? I'm thinking of buying one off of my friends buddy. I think he got around January/February of this year. So any comments are greatly appreciated.

Hi so I am currently setting up my first system for my 09 corolla. I'm trying to choose between the Q15 or BL15. I know the Q is more SQ and the BL is more SPL but.... Which would be better for a daily driver listening to Hardstyle, Dubstep, Techno, Hiphop. I do want it loud but don't want distortion. The Amp would be a AQ1200 Thanks

Here's a few video clip of my Q12 on 1200 Watts rms Kenwood X1200M. Sorry for the shitty digital cam mic. The box is a shitty Bassworkx that I'll be replacing soon when I get a reasonable deal on custom ported box. Let me know what ya'll think.

For those of you who owns an Fi Q12 with cooling options, did you guys removed the bottom sticker covering the magnet hole? I've seen a few pictures of Fi Q12 owners that doesn't have the bottom sticker exposing the magnet's hole. Thanks

I am ordering an FI Q 12" and have all the options selected, the only one I don't know if I should get for sure is the "Cooling" option. I'm sure it would be better getting it than not, but are there ne disadvantages to it? Such as harder for my amp to push? Thanks

I am deciding between the FI Q 12" and FI SSD 12". I will be hooking up to a Rockford Fosgate Power Series 851S 2 channel amp that is bridged and 4 ohm stable. It is rated at 850X1 watts rms @ 4 ohms. But on the birthsheet is over 900 RMS. I was wondering what would sound better for that amount of power the SSD or the Q? I am leaning towards the Q from reviews I read and what I've heard, but definately don't want to underpower it. I have ran several diff. systems with this amp and it has pushed them no problem with the gain no higher than 1/4, so i'd assume that it should be able to handle the Q. Thanks for ne input!

I placed an order for an FI Q 10" and it was meant to be a 12". How do I go about changing my already placed order from 10" to a 12" before it is too late. Also I ordered it after 12pm, so it says they shouldn't start to build my sub till tomm. Thanks

Of course its ported and tuned to 33hz and its also 2.3 cf. Is it going to be very loud? Will the cars behind me vibrate? Am i going to be heard down the road? OHH and by the way im not looking for spl
