Well this will be my first use of Fi subs. I'm going to be running an IA 20.1 and want to run 2 12" Fi's in a sealed box. I have been suggested SSDs, BLs and Qs. I am coming from an SI Mag 15" and loved the way it sounded at 2.5 sealed, but I could use a little bit more bump. I would like to run the IA to it's full potential (1800x1 @ 1 ohm) so for SQ and SPL which should I choose between the 3?

i have never really have any experience with Fi audio and was hoping to get some feedback. i want to switch to fi subs but i dont have the money yet and i saw that fi x-series was on sale. i currenly have two 12" memphis hpo (old m3) on a 1000 watt amp, but my question is should i get three new 12" Fi x-series? would they sound better than my two hpos? nothing is wrong with the hpos, i just want to get new subs? would the x series be better or should i just stick with my hpos?? any input is appreciated. thanks

Well I've been reading on here for a month or so and I figured I should just join to get some opinions. Right now I have two rockford fosgate 12 inch t1's on a rf t10001bd in a prefab ported box. Well I'm going to be putting them in a different vehicle plus I've been wanting to get louder anyways. I was wanting to do two rf t1 15's but I figured I should ask on here and see what I can get that would be louder than those. I listen to pretty much rap and I'm wanting that loud low deep bass so probably like 75% spl and 25% sq. Whatever I get will be going in the trunk of a 98 dodge avenger and I plan on having a rf t20001bd to power whatever I get. I'm thinking either 1 18" …

Ok, I am most likely purchasing the L1 and L4 legatia drivers from Hybrid next week, and would like to use the Assasin 8's to complete a 3-way active component system. My plan was to xover the L4 down to ~140 maybe 150, then have the 8's from that number down to about 45, and the 15" Q from that down to 28. Would the assassin 8 be great for this? also, I wanted to mount it in the doors, (the L4's and L1's are going in kick panels). how wold it do in IB and what kind of power handling am I looking at? (i could build little sealed enclosures for them in doors if needed. (crossing fingers) hopefully will be ready for some of next seasons SQ competitions. re-posting it here b…

So, I will be putting a couple subs in my new car and am not sure what to do. I wanna get loud, but I am not sure what exactly to throw into the trunk. How would 2 15's sealed compare to 2 10's ported?? I like bass alot, especially when it shakes everything! Anyhelp would be great. Also, gotta do either 2 10's or 1 15 ported to save some room. I will probably be going with Q's or BL's.

Thinking about a single 15" sub and Fi's are on my list of options...Any major differences in sound quality between the Q and the BL? I like bass on the tighter side that will play loud w/out getting muddy. What are the benefits of a getting a BL w/options? It will be for a daily driver. Usually listen to rap, but i throw some rock in there about 25% of the time, and want a sub sounds good playing both types of music. Thoughts/comments?

I just bought the amplifier that I'll be using for this setup. It's a Crunch PZi1500.1. It puts out 1500 watts rms at 1 ohms. It realistically gets 1300 watts rms at best. The sub I'm planning on buying is the Fi SSD 12" Dual 2 ohms. If I'm planning on running 1100 to 1200 watts in this sub which options should I have. I do prefer SQ over SPL, but I'd like to run it with as much power as possible. The gain will be turned down for daily use. I just want to have the power there in case I need it. If it helps I am gonna go with a custom made ported box 2.5 cuft tuned at 33hz. Help from Scott or the other guys that work at Fi would be great.

I took my box and 2-18'' Q's to get airbrushed. My box airbrushed to look like the cube from the movie Hellraiser and to have all my favorite horror movie people airbrushed on the whole cone. The shop next to it caught fire and burned up all the stores in the little strip mall. So I would like to know if I should get the new Havocs or stay with the Q's? The Q's hit hard and loud but I think the Havocs would hit harder and louder but I need them in dual 4 ohms. The Q's are dual 1 ohm. I need to run a 1 ohm load to my amp for full power. I have the MTX TE4001d. 3900 watts at 1 ohm, 2451 at 2 ohms, and 1323 4 ohms. Box size 7 cubes each after port tuned to 30hz. So would the…
