Im looking at both of these subs right now, going to run one 15 in about a 3.5 tuned to 32 or so. I would like to get some truthful opinions and differences on these subs. I know price wise the FI Q is cheaper but what other differences do the 2 have?

Kinda a stupid question I guess but I was wondering what the frequency response on the Q is. Didn't see it in the description and was just curious.

So I am coming back over to the darkside after a short break. I am selling my BMW M3 and picking up an 02 Black Tahoe. Track days were fun, but I'm ready to cruise around and have a ridiculously loud system. I need your help on deciding what to buy though. I'm looking to go all out without completely breaking the bank so wherever I can get a good deal on something that would be ideal. I don't want to sacrifice quality to much though because I want to do this right the first time. This will be mainly used as a DD, but I would love to eventually get into the whole competition scene assuming I learn more about it since I know next to nothing right now. I'd ideally li…

whats up guys, ill be running a sundown saz1500 on ??? not sure yet, ill be using all of the area behind the seats of my ex cab s10 (up to about 8 cubes). Im going for whats gonna be the loudest. Im considering 2 15" SSD's ported, but im open for suggestions. Also anybody that has an ex cab s10 or ranger or something similar im looking for suggestions from you guys too... remember this will be off 1500ish rms, and would prefer 2 subs for the cone area.... even a single BTL just takes too much power that i wont have for my application thanks

Hello all, So I have been browsing around for a smaller sub(s) to take over the bass duties in my setup. I currently have a 15" Sound Splinter RL-p (that I REALLY love), but I want to regain some of my trunk space back. My buddy was going to sell me a pair of his SS RL-i 8s but decided he'll keep it for his new vehicle he recently bought. Anyhow, I have been looking at the Fi Q for a few days now reading reviews and such. I'm debating between the 12" and the 10" vesion. I'm just worried the 10 won't have sufficient output. I'm going sealed regardless of it being the 10 or the 12. Power wise, I have up to 1kw on tap from my Arc 1500-XXK. So to those of you who own the Q …

12 Inch SSD, powered by a SAE-1000D, probably ported box. Copper or Flatwind coil? Cooling? I'm hoping I can get away without cooling.

I'm hearing tons of good stuff about Fi but I'm not sure which of these subs will fit my tastes best. I'm shooting for one 12". I like deep loud bass for my reggae and even for 'metal' . I like it vibrating the hairs on the back of my neck loud. But I listen to a lot of punk music which would need some good SQ especially for the double bass (not many subs keep up with it well). So, I know that the BL is the SPL sub, the Q is the SQ sub, and the SSD is kind of an entry level mix, but which would best fit my tastes? I can only afford one sub I only have 2 cu ft to work with. I figure I'll be best with a ported box tuned @ 35 hz (a little high to help the punk music). What y…

hey guys i am pretty new to the game, and i just sold my old system and wanted to do something new. i had 2 12" kicker cvr's in a ported kicker box with a kenwood 500x1 rms 2 channel lets just say it was sloppy but it got pretty loud. I just bought a new mtx thunder elite ta801d and its putting out 891x1 at 2 ohms and i dont know whether to get the 15 Q or the 15 SSD, and i have no idea what kind of options to put on it. I listen to 60% rap and 40% rock and im trying to focus on LSQ. would either of these woofers get louder than the 2 12"s i already had? any imput that you guys have would be extemely helpful! Thanks, Brian

I am looking into my first Fi sub. I am looking at either a 15 Q or a 12 Bl. It will be going in a Dodge Magnum. Both subs will be ported @32hz and powered by a Phoenix Gold Tantrum 1200.1. How do these compare? I am looking for loud with maybe a little flex but still sound good as a daily driver. I listen to a little of everything but a lot of rap. Help a noob out.

What's up, I've been lurking on this forum for a while just checking out some of the Fi products. I was strongly considering getting subs from here then I came up on a deal for IDQ's and I decided to jump on them. Now for the last few days, I've been back kicking around the idea of returning my subs and picking up some from here. Now here's my needs... I'm looking for 12" sub(s) that sound clean and punchy and can go low but I don't need them to be heard miles away. I'm thinking of going with a sealed enclosure, b/c I'm looking for more SQ than SPL, but I would still like for them them to get loud when asked. I was originally considering a Fi Q and I would drive it w/ the…

Hey guys! thinking of redoing my set-up and am wondering why my loudest combo would be? Items I have to work with: 1300ish watts of power @ 1 or 2 ohms; 5-5.5 cu ft of box space price really that big of a deal seeing as I know I don't have enough for the BTL's and this isn't a real immediate idea, so i can save up for a bit. As for as my wattage and so forth, I'm hoping to not have to upgrade because righ tnow my electrical is just on the edge of supporting the amp I currenly have and if I am not thinking of getting a new alt, etc anytime in the near future. In terms of dimensions though...I can only fit one 18" of a sub, 2 15's, 3, 12's, and probably 3 10's also. G…

Hey I am thinking about going for a 12 inch SSD. This is kind of a budget setup. I just got rid of my Kicker solo x and want something more modest. Anyway the plan is to go with a ported box and run it on a MA Audio M1889I (800 RMS). My question is, what options should I go with?

Replies would be great i want to buy the sub this weekend. Thanks Mike

Alright Im planning out my system for this upcoming season, I will start competing in Bass Race, this also will be my daily driver. I'm going to seal the box off from my trunk, and was debating between 3 12" Q's in a sealed box or 2 12" BL's in a ported box tuned low. They would be run off a Sundown SAZ-3000D. Thanks

So, I see that tons of people all apply different things to their BTL's. Assuming they are the fully loaded BTL's, I gotta ask, how much power R U applying to yours? Just curious to see how much various people apply. Also, are these daily driver vehicles?
