This sub is the best sub ever we tested it out the other day to see howmay watts I could put to it and right now it is able to hold 3852 watts (the max my amp will put out right now at 14.9 volts). I am going to buy another earthquake amp and starp them together to see how much more we can give it. I am currently running the sub at 1.30 ohms I will run it at .65 ohms once I get my next amp. For any one out there that is wanting a sub that will hold just about anything that you can give it I would go with Fi Audio, I am now going to be running Fi in all of my cars from now on. Thanks again for all of your hard work. I will lwt you know how may watts we can give it before i…

Alright so i've got two sets of Clif Designs QX6500 componets and a KX650.4. I've got a full car's worth of dynamat extreme on the way to do the whole car. I've got a US Amps XT2000D waiting for the sub. The car is gonna be a 1999 Diamante as long as transaction goes as planned. I've been set on a single 15 for awhile but after lookin in the trunk i may have room for an 18. Any suggestions, maybe another set up???

So I am looking at the ssds on the web and notice the d2 coils have a stronger bl than the d1 coils do and wonder would that difference really make that much of a difference in an enclosure as I know the stronger the bl is the better the sub will react in an enclosure correct me if im wrong. D1 has a bl of 9.3 while the d2 has a bl of 14.1 so somebody help me understand this. Also I need to calculate the subs vas into cu ft it has a vas of 58.7 but I have no clue of how to convert it. thanks in advance

well semi review... all the specs are in the sig. so far im rather suprised with the sq the sub has, i wasnt expecting it to keep up with the kick bass of bands like trivium or shadows fall, but suprisingly it does do a decent job. It also gets VERY loud off the power its getting (20.1 at .6 ohm), and i cant imagine sending this thing 4k watts, especially in my little truck, i feel sorry enough for it now. The only regret i have so far is i wish i would have tuned a little lower, ive already bottomed the sub out once, on bassmekaniks(sp?)-bass i love you in the first few seconds, im not sure what frequency it dips down into but its to low :/ Even with that though, i a…

well i had a few problems with this install, and still have a few to deal with like getting the box bolted down, i didnt think it would be bouncing all over the place when the sub is wanging. 2004 ranger edge extended cab 15" Btl fully loaded IA 20.1 at .6 (i found my impendence problem and got it fixed. stock electrical (for about 2 more weeks) amp barely gets warm. and my truck is hella dirty right now. moving some air trying to get flex, but not the right song for that, i do get a pretty good amount though with certain songs.

I've had the BTLs in my Blazer for about 3 days and all I can say is wow. Considering that they are classified as SPL subs, they have great transient response. They can keep up with the classic and alternative rock while being ungodly loud on rap/hip hop. They hit the lows with more authority than my Solo X18 which surprised me. Each sub is powered by its own Concept CD-2410. Great subs. Kudos go out to the Fi crew. For Tejcurrent: Overall compared to the Solo X, they are louder, cleaner, and go lower. (unless you give the solo X 5000-6000w) They also play just a bit more of the higher freqs. The BTL is a better sub for the money. Enough said. This is the first …

Well Planning for the new truck. And it started out as, Its an expensive truck and its gunna be my DD, so just the stock Navi, a 10 and some door speakers... Then It turned into Well, maybe a couple Head rest monitors and 2 low end 10's in small sealed box.... One thing leads to another, and well Im going all out again....Aside from the video equipment and door speakers and chit...I want 2 10in BTLs and a Hifonics to power them... Is there any reason I shouldnt use the 10in BTL for DD? Would I be better of with a BL? And most of you wont care, but ill be finishing up just in time for bike week....which means ill be done in time to turn around and drive back down for SBN

I am absoluetly delighted to run these BTL's. FI has some of the best customer support in the industry, and I will represent them to the fullest. Scott, Shawn, and Nick answered all my questions, and I thank you guys so much. Now to my box build pics.. Before FI... The Box Build... I had to fiberglass the wheel well to get as much space as possible, my car is kinda small.... After FI.... I am still not done with this project. I plan on making some nice trim panels to cover the wiring. I just wanted to get some pics up. All I have to say is WOW, these things can really take some power, and kick it right back in your face! I recently got a ticket for "stereo …

I got into car audio about 12 years ago. I was a bass player and one day figured out that I could play CD's thru my bass amp. It was all downhill from there. I started listening to bass and rap CD's in the house. Then I realized I was missing something in the car. My first subs were Lanzar 12" OA's (designed for infinite baffle) in a large sealed box in the back of my 4Runner. Since then I have had Orion XTR's, Image Dynamics ID's, and some loud crappy Audiobahn's. I have always liked the sound of sealed systems, and the simplicity of build. I have heard MANY ported systems, and while they were always LOUD AS HELL, there were things I didn't like about them. Port…

A few weeks ago I put an SSD (copper coil) in the trunk of my wifes BMW. The sub is probably fully broken in, and is signifacantly louder and lower than it was initially, but it's not loud enough. And could be lower! It's seeing approx 1000w in a 2cuft sealed enclosure. I prefer sealed for small size and lowend extension. I have approx 1400w available at 2ohm. Should I give the SSD away and get a Q (or BL), or should I add another SSD? Before I make this decision, I will build another enclosure (ported) before I act, I am just looking for input. Thanks.

Here is an install I did a few months back for a buddy of mine from Jax. Its an 01 Sedan Deville. The main thing was it had to look stock up front, no glassed door panels, kick pods, ect, b/c he takes clients out, and he had to still conserve alot of trunk room, for he travels alot in this vehicle. On the enclosure, I did build a trim panel, to clean up the box to the vehicle, but it restricted WAY too much bass coming into the car, the rear seat and rear deck are built like tanks in these vehicles.
