I was really hoping some one could help me out with blueprints or a layout for the idea enclosuer for this sub int he space i have to work with. car is a 96 cadi fleetwood brougham rwd i measure it out and The max demensions are H 16 W 42 L 28, i would like a box with 45's in it if possible. i only listen to bassy rap and r&b jezzy,gucci mane, etc for examples. ported obviously tuned to 32hz? again this if for a 15 FI BL fully loaded help woul dbe GREATLY appreciated.

Here is the Max Dimensions im working with Height 1 18.5" Height 2 23" Depth 17.5" Width 38.5" 2 15" Q's I figured out if I got with 65 square inch of port (which is only 10.8 per cube) I would have 5.6 cubes internal volume @ 32hz will this be alot louder than 5.2 cubes sealed? I could go with external ports and make it something like 5.8 cubes maybe, Box will be gettin done next week and I'm freaking out cause I want it to be loud Do you think sealed these two 15's will still be alot louder than my old 2 12's Kicker CVX's in a 3 cube ported to about 34hz? I'm gettin a headache just thinking about it

How much is one of those shipped to 68510? Also before you build it is it possible to have you guys put the biggest lead wires on there (like the ones you shipped me), because When I took mine apart to fix the wires it worked fine but the copper wire broke right next to the coil, and now I have no copper wire to solder the lead wires to. let me know if there is a way to fix this problem. Also would it be possible to send you the sub I have and get 2 10" Q's and a little bit more money in exchange? I want to buy Q 10's. I am looking at ported box specs and there is a pretty wide range. I am looking for flat response and good SQ with a punch. I listen to metal and rap mostly depending on the day. They will each get 1000 watts in the trunk of Grand Prix. i was looking to do 28.75 sq inches of port for both, will that be enough, or will i benefit from upping it to 31.625

Ok, so i have figured out what i am going to get. 1 fi btl 18 and ma audio HK4000D with pioneer premier DEH-P980BT deck. I need some help building a box, just need a very simple one I have a dodge charger and the dimensions we have to work with are 31w x 14 1/3h x 30depth and MDF 1inch since the height is only 14 1/3 i am going to have to slant it, can someone help me with a drawing or something, like where the top panel needs to slant in order to have enought room to fit the sub please tell me what you think and if you have any advice please tell me. I plan on throwing the recommended RMS or more at it. I am now struggling to figure out what type of enclosure to build for it. I have read good things about sealed and ported for this subwoofer. My goal is to have a good sounding setup that has the potential to be loud if I felt the need. I have 2012 fusion, I want to add these 15s I understand the box will have to be built in the trunk and will pretty much take it all up. I will be putting the batteries in the spare tire well. I will be running DC power 270Xp. Min of 2 runs pos/ negative 0 gauge from front to rear and probley the NS-1 amp. I have around 45 inches in length, 18 High, and 25 deep. I just got a 12 Q D2 with BP power hooked up with a JL 500/1. in a sealed 1.5(20*13*15.5) after sub displacement. is the amp to little for the sub? i set the amp to JL specs. and then i get clipping. i've used the same amp on others subs and get better sound and more power out of it. but with ported boxes using the same JL specs. how should i set it with a sealed box?

Would I be able to get a machined compression plug for my RE XXX v3 motor on my next recone to help with cooling? Will it negatively affect performance?

I've decided on the 2 12" ssd's. Really excited for it! NOW..... the box Ive always wanted to try an aeroport so i can adjust tuning and uses less space. But heres the catch. I dont know what to do lol. The box dimensions im looking at are: Height: 15.5" Width: 31" Depth: 16" According to RE calculator (which i know is off a bit) is about 3.5 cubes with no port. With those dimensions above or similiar, what aeroport do i get!? where do i put it on the box? I want it to be tuned to 32-33 hz thnx guys !!!

Does any1 have a 12" Q in a sealed around 1 cubic feet? I want to know if the q will get loud in a sealed. Im thinking of replacing my 2 JL 10W7 with 1 12" Q or maybe I should just power 1 JL 10w7. The 2 w7s take up my whole trunk and i just want to get some of my trunk back. I have enough to put a Q in a sealed enclosure but have around 1.5-1.7 cubic feet for ported. My amp does around 800-900 watts at 4 ohms or 1600watts at 1 ohms so dual 2 ohms it is. Should I just keep 1 of my jl 10w7 and port it? Will that sound close to a 12 Q sealed?

I am truly worried about this since I am eager to get a X10 or X12 and it has to deal with power issues. I have an Arc Audio XXD 2080 and it des 240 x 1 @ 4 ohms when bridged. I truly have been wanting to get a Fi Audio sub since three years ago but would like to know would the amp and the X10 or X12 would work together hand in hand or would it be a total flop?

What is the Induct Heat Ring and what is its pros/cons?

Better amp for a cheaper price? Any other suggestions or comments?

What is the recommended amount of port area for an SSD with copper Coils? Think I need to build another enclosure but I want to get everything panned out before I do so..

I wanna get a box built for my civic but don't know wtf to look for. Ok some info I plan on getting 1 fully loaded 15" btl when they update the site, and I wanna run at the most 2000w to it. Right now I only got an 800w amp but I plan on upgrading to a rockford fosgate t20001bd within a month. I also wanted to go ported instead of sealed on the box and I'm not to sure what Hz I should go with. Damn I feel so loss but I guess we all gotta start somewhere. So I'd appreciate the help and if more info is needed I'll give it. Thanks in advance

Fully loaded BTL 15" w/ single saz1500d sounds like a whole bunch of sealed 10's. Except it goes lower and gets louder. The Police's greatest hits sounds great. I'm having some front stage issues, so I've been focusing on the bass... This BTL has great SQ! Better than my friends believed it would sound. Better than I expected too. I can't wait to add the other 1500d and 'glass the enclosure and also run a 100.4 on some CDT's.

First post guys, so please bear with me... I'm looking at a 12" Q for my sealed enclosure. Here's the thing, I've got an enclosure that's .88 cu.ft. I did the search and came up with what seems to be a optimum 1.2 to 1.3 cu. ft. Here's the question, how will this driver respond in the .88 sealed with 750w rms? Thanks guys.

I was wondering if you could possibly give me plans for a ported box for 1 fully loaded BTL 12" dual 1ohm sub. Powered by an Earthquake PHD10000d 3000 watt amp. My trunk dimensions are 36"L x 36"W x 17"H. here is the plans I got off a website. How does this look?

I have 2 loaded btl 12s that Im going to be running a T4k on. I want to use aero ports but the only way that I can get enough port area is to go a bigger than the recommended 2.5ft3. I may have to go with something like 2.7-2.9ft3.....is this ok for daily usage? Or will it hurt the woofer? I see on the Fi site that u shouldnt go any higher than 3ft3. Id be below that but they say 2.5ft3 on this site?

do you think it would be fine for a 15 fully loaded btl to handle 2 sae 1200 on each coil at 1 ohm i did this with a solo x 12 before it hit hard
