If anyone has tried this could you tell me what you think of it? I'm trying to build a wall that is all funky shaped. Trying to smash 4 18's into a Ford Explorer. found this program but would just like to know if anyone else has used and what you think of it. The bottom is 37" deep x 52" wide then go to 33" deep x 18.5 " high. Top is 33" deep x 52" wide 18.5" high Grand total of 37" tall x 52" wide and the depth. Trying to utilize every bit of room I can so I can still have room for batteries and amps. Plus the ports gotta go in there to. Any help on any other programs or any ideas would be appreciated. Got it drawn out on paper. Kinda to scale it down to where it will …

Am using two Q 15s but in to seperate cambers that are in 2.9-3.0 cuft enclosures after all displacement, is this too small?. Would it be better to use a single or a dual camber? I was told that the single would hit harder. What do you guys think? The box is tune to 30Hz using a port that is 2 X 14 and 16.75 inches long. Am still in da building stages so i can change some things just alittle if its necessary.

I have 2 rockford P2 15" d on a TMA amplifier 500.1 in a 4.5 Cu. Ft. Box ported. I'm in the process to get 2 Bl 12" d2 and I need the know if the HIFONICS BRUTUS BXi2608D will be a good option (cheap one) in a 5.0Cu. Ft. This will go in the trunk of a Toyota Yaris 5 door. My budget is pretty tight, that the main reason why I decided the BXi2608D. Here are the pics of my trunk Visit My Website

I have the box in the pic below and I don't believe it's gonna be the best for my Q! I want the most output possible! I'm thinking around 2.5 cuft net with the port around 30 Hz! I have a Rockford Power 1001BD stable @ 2 ohms. I listen to all types of music but love really low notes!! If someone could tell me the dimensions of a box with port dimensions it would REALLY HELP ME ALOT!!! Or, if you have other recommendations!!! Thanks!!!

I notice that on the Fi website that u have options that u can add to your sub before purchase. What does these options mean? Flatwind coil? Copper Coil? and BP Power? Can i purchase this sub without this stuff. If i dont then how will the sub perform in daily uses? Oh yea, is there a big difference in hard hitting bass with the SSD 15 and the Q 15? Thanks.

Ok, I have an older BTL18 that was originally a D1 (written on the pole) and its in need of a recone. The owner got ahold of a D2 BTL18 kit, and I got the basket cleaned up and ready. It an older non-woven tinsel kit. But, I have it a snag...the D2 coils OD is noticeably larger than the D1. I have the kit shimmed and in the gap, but is this kit going to work??? Or will the coil hit the top plate when playing? Its a tight fit, but does have some space. Anyone make the D1 to D2 switch? Please reply soon...the owner is in need of a sub.

does anyone know a phone number or something to contact fi about a question? ive tried emailing and it didn't work, they ignored me. i ordered a fi q 18" about a month and half ago and i noticed it had a black basket instead of gray, then i ordered another one a couple weeks ago and it had the gray basket and many differences. and just over a week of having the newest one, there is a popping noise coming from the sub as if its starting to go bad already. any comments just let me know....thanks.

Right now i currently have 2 boxes around 5.4 cubes per box @ 34 hz. I know i really could get the BL's to slam the lows alot louder if i got around 7 cubes per sub. SO with that being said im going to make 1 ported box*walled* and tryn get my max dimensions. I was going to get crazy and fiberglass all the nukes and cranny's but im really not the best with just winging it and figuring out port lengths and cubes when its not a regular rectangle. On to my question... Do you find the Sq. inches for port area before or after all the displacements. EX. I have 15 cubes to work with total 45x34.5x20 external dimensions for 2 18" BL's Do i multiply 16(rule of thumb) sq inches x 1…

I have a 2003 Chevrolet Tahoe and I am going to put a Fi BL 18" in it. It will be powered with a Rockford Fosgate T10001bd amp and a Kinetik battery. Just ordered it yesterday I have a general idea of the specs on my box in order to fit the 5-10 cubic feet. It will be about 9 cubes by the time everything is displaced. The only problem since I am new to car audio and this is my first system is what are the dimensions of the port? The box will be W 45" x H 20" x D 20" with 3/4" MDF. I want to tune the box to 32Hz. Any help will be appreciated. -Kasey

Im getting 1 18'' fi.btl fully loaded and my enclosure is going to be 6.3 cuft. (After all displacements) 3/4mdf tuned to 34hz. But as far as the port can you please tell me how long, tall, wide, etc. it should be for best hairtricks, loud bass at high notes, and the best low bass I can get (Since being tuned to 34hz.) without port noise. One more thing as far as the enclosure should I have the top and bottom of the enclosure double baffled or triple baffled or the whole enclosure double or triple baffled or what? Please help as much as you can I really appreciate it!!! Thanks guys
