Hello. I have a 1999 Dodge Ram 1500 regular cab, and I want a "system". I have figured up that I have about 1.7-1.8 cubes of space behind the seat. I was originally wanting 2 12's, but I would still like to have the massive amount of storage space that Dodges have. So I was just wonding if I could fit an SSD 15 behind my passenger seat. The top of the box will be 6.5" deep, and the bottom will be 10.5" deep. The reason for going with a 15 instead of a 12, is just for the coolness factor of saying, "Yeah, I've got a 15". I haven't ever designed a ported box before, but I did alot of reading and sat here for a few hours and came up with a design for my enclosure. You guys wanna check and see if I did it correctly? will be using 3/4" MDF. I'm currently looking at components to go with my 12" BL. I'm going to either go with Rainbow SLC 265s or SLC 265 Kicks. What I was wondering was with my box tuned to 32 Hz would my BL get loud enough up to 80 Hz to be able to have my high pass at 80 for the Kicks? Thanks

well not really, i still have to double baffle it, and carpet it. its 4.5 cubes, 67.5^2 inches of port at 34 hz.

I got chris at fishercustoms.com to design me box for 2 BL 18's. Its little over 18 cubes before port and sub and around 15 after, tuned to 33hz. Port is 10.5" wide. Figured i would post up design, hopefully i will have it built next couple weeks. We been workin 7 days a week, so as soon as i get a break, will get started on it.

I am planning to purchase a BTL 15 when they are available, i would like to know what kinda applications this sub is gonna be adaptable to. I had a DD 9515G, but everytime i talk to them via e-mail or on the phone their customer service is severely lacking lately. So i sold it. I would like to run one of the BTL's in the DD's place daily in a T-line Enclosure, and then in a standard slot ported, or possibly kerf ported enclosure for when i wanna meter it. Hi all! I have a 2004 Dodge Ram Quad cab. These things are impossible for trying to put in subs without pulling out seats and all kinds of stuff (not interested in). Found a guy who makes a specific "molded" box that goes underneath the rear seats. I really want to go with the Fi Q 12", heard really good things about the Q's and I prefer 12's over 10's for the notes they hit. However, this box has a single chamber totalling 1.8ft^3 in a sealed setup for a 12". Will the .9 - displacement per sub be enough to adequately run? How much polyfil should I use? Well, I've been looking to start my first real system, and I found a really good deal on these 2 subs. They are the 1ohm 12" Q's. I am pretty newbish and was wondering what configuration would be best (I would guess just wiring them for 1ohm final), and what amps would be good options to push these? I bought an 18" BTL a while ago and need some recommendations on the type of enclosure I should use. First I went to my local shop to see what kind of designs they could offer me and what they thought would work best for my application. I talked to the guy that specializes in enclosures and unfortunately he hasn't heard of Fi before. So I gave him the web addy to get the parameters of the sub so he could plug the numbers into the enclosure software they have. Hey all, bought a 15" Q last night to mess around with and have some questions. Recommended enclosure is 2.8 to 4 cubes and tuning anywhere from 28 to 33. I need to figure out where in that range I should build. I listen to mostly metal, rock, blues/folk and on the rare occasion I'll crank some old school hip hop. I know kick drum is front stage and I will get flamed for this but I still like cutting my subs at 80 to get some impact for kicks out of them. I have a Kicker sx1250.1 that will be going on the Q so it will be just a bit over the rated limit of the woofer. It will be going in the back of my 07 extended cab F150. I was wondering if I can run my friend's Fi Q in my box that is 4.5 cu ft tuned 32? It has BP option, and I would be running about 1000 watts to it. Would the sub be fine as long as I am responsible?

So my buddy has the newest version of the 12" Type R that he wants to upgrade. Here's the details, and hopefully I can give enough info. He has an ONX1.1500. He also has EQ'ing at 30, 45, 60, and I think 80hz. We'll make a ported box, but it'll need to be on the smaller side, maybe 3-3.5ft^3 net. His Type R is tuned to 33hz at ~1.5ft^3 net, I know that's not the only way to judge things, but he may want to go a bit lower on tuning frequency, maybe 28-30hz (this is in a 2000 Explorer btw, and any port frequency opinions for this sub are definitely appreciated). I am looking to build an enclosure for my 4 12" fully loaded BL subwoofers and was wondering if 8 cubes after displacement and everything is large enough or too large? I want to tune to 32hz as well. Please chime in with any ideas if you have them?

Question What is the highest and lowest tuning that you all know of for the differnet series of the Fi lineup? AA would also be considered. Personally I would be most concerened with 18s and 15s I currently have 1 15" BTL dual mag in 3.8CF and tuned to 35hz Many people including myself (surprise) are really impressed by the output of this sub/enclosure combo I however have realised that (to know surprise) the cabinet is not capable of playing the lowest notes. Really needing more airspace for lower simpler tuning abilities, the box is great for "most people" and say a "rocker" type listener. I want another t-line in my truck. I had a dd 9515g, it didn't hold up. I will have 3kw on hand. What options on the 08 model BTL would get where i want to be with suspension, cooling, and power handling, as well as x max........If a combination of stiff spiders was needed then that would be ok as well. I just don't really know how well they will handle this type of application. It a 2006 nissan frontier(the big ones) xtra cab so i have a decent amount of room as my backseats are removed. advice will be appreciated. Jason
