Hi all.I just placed my order for two SSD 18's.I can't wait to get them but in the mean time I was wondering how much power can they handle? I have a Autotek Street Machine 1500 watt amp that I was planning on using with them put I was curious if they could handle it.I did not get the BP power or flatwind coil when I placed my order.I got dual 1ohm instead of dual 2 ohm voice coils so im planing on running the subs at 1ohm.Any advice or help would be greatly appreicated.Let me know if any more info is needed and ill post it up.Thanks

I want to build a sub for home theater, using 2 Q15s in one sealed cabinet. What modifications can Fi make to optimize the Q15s for home use? I'll need a complete listing (including Le inductance) of the modified T/S specs for my modelling. Ideally, I would want the drivers to be optimized for a sealed cabinet volume between 4 and 7 cubic feet. Thanks.

I'm thinking of buying a FI Q to put in a sealed box in my spare tire well. The dimensions I have to work with are 24"(width)x26"(Depth)x10"(height). I'm a complete noob when it comes to building boxes but want to try to do this one. How do I figure out if I can make a box that will work with the FI Q with those dimensions and what size to make it etc?

What size box, and tuning would be best? I have a '95 4-door Blazer it will be going in.. I was thinking something along the lines of 6ft^3 tuned to 45hz..

what does Universal option do to the sub frequencies response? will it make the SPL lower since the motor is not optimised for the coil impedence chosen? or does it give the 'peaky' effect like flatwind?

Hey everybody, I have a BL 15 dual 2 with every option except universal and extreme leads. I am currently giving the sub about 1400 watts RMS. I am pretty sure that it can handle this, but since it is quite a bit above the rated power I just wanted to be sure that I am not going to blow the sub (because it gets REALLY loud). I am sort of afraid to turn it up all the way right now so any advice would be appreciated. My amp is a Lanzar Opti2000D and my head unit is a Pioneer DEH-P6900UB (if that matters...) Hi, i recently bought a recone kit for my Btl. It was a 12" and I am upgrading to an 18". I cut the surround and spider to remove the cone. Now, i see the screws holding the basket to the motor. Simple, right? Well i cant get the screws to break from the motor. They were soldered on to the metal. I broke the solder with a screwdriver, and now i'm left with six screws that WILL NOT budge. I really put some power behind one screwdriver and the screw started to strip on the top. Any ideas?

I know that FI can recone the 3hp motors(3000's) w/ the tall top plate. Its has the 4 holes on the top plate. I know you machine adapters. My question is, instead of sending 70 lbs of motors to you to be reconed, could you just send me the recones/baskets adapters and I'll do it myself. It'll prob save a bunch of money and possible shipping damage( I don't have good luck )... Thanks, Joe. P

Is it possible to order just a recone kit and diy? If so what are the prices on 12" and 15" BTL's anyone know? Also is there a way to contact Fi directly other than e-mail like a phone number?

I have 2 rockford P2 15" d on a TMA amplifier 500.1 in a 4.5 Cu. Ft. Box ported. I'm in the process to get 2 Bl 12" d2 and I need the know if the HIFONICS BRUTUS BXi2608D will be a good option (cheap one) in a 5.0Cu. Ft. This will go in the trunk of a Toyota Yaris 5 door. My budget is pretty tight, that the main reason why I decided the BXi2608D. Here are the pics of my trunk Visit My Website

I broke my terminal loose pulling the sub out of its box, I tried crazy gluing it back but that aint working, My question is, whats the bolt for on the terminal, the terminal is not screwed on, it looks as if it was just glued on over top of the screw instead of screwed down. Now, I cant get the terminal flush with the screw head to even glue it down properly, what would you guys suggest? Right now, the terminal is just flopping around, I know that cant be good
