Hi all! I have a 2004 Dodge Ram Quad cab. These things are impossible for trying to put in subs without pulling out seats and all kinds of stuff (not interested in). Found a guy who makes a specific "molded" box that goes underneath the rear seats. I really want to go with the Fi Q 12", heard really good things about the Q's and I prefer 12's over 10's for the notes they hit. However, this box has a single chamber totalling 1.8ft^3 in a sealed setup for a 12". Will the .9 - displacement per sub be enough to adequately run? How much polyfil should I use? He also makes a 10" vented @ 36hz and 10" sealed. The airspace would be the same as the above box. Would it rea…

Car: 95' Lexus SC400. Driver: 1 or 2 Q's. 12s? Here's the deal, I'd love to do 2 12" Q's in about 2.8 cubes sealed or so. If I can make it fit. OR, I can do 1 12" Q and port it, but at what cost to SQ if the box is built properly? 1 Ported would yield a slightly smaller box if space is as much of an issue as it could potentially be once I tear out the false wall. The problem lies in that there is a Factory 10 and 2 4" in the rear deck, I think. 10 for sure, not 100% on the size of the mids there. The rear wall is steel with the gas tank there as well. Again, I have not had time to tear this out but I know there is at least some room in there because I've seen pic a…

I have the following system... '96 Jeep Grand Cherokee 2 18" Fi BLs 2 Rockford Fosgate T10001's 1 Rockford Fosgate p500-2 1 Pair Infinity Kappa Perfect 6.5" components 1 Pair Alpine Type R Coaxial 6.5" Lots of Lightning Audio Wire Alpine CDA-7897 Head Unit + 6 Disk Changer 225 amp Excessive Amperage alternator Box tuned to about 34 hz My question is, I cannot for the life of me get my subs to play the same. They are phase, wired with 8 gauge, and the polarity is correct (as long as the subs are labeled correctly). I have the amps set for master/slave, set to give each sub 1400 watts. Does anyone know what could be causing this problem?

  10. Hey, I have 2 tc 3hp motors. I know they need to be sent in to be machined to fit the 12 spoke mounting holes. I saw where you posted prices for a 3hp recone, there were prices for a 12/15/18. Can you do a 3hp 10" recone?? The motor measures 7.5 inches wide at the widest point. I'm hoping there won't be a problem with 10's. I'd like to send them this week, but waiting to see what can be done. Thanks FI.

Hopefully someone can help. I found a 3hp motor, but it only has the 4 bolt layout where the basket secures. I've seen a few of these motors rebuilt w/ fi softparts so i know it can be done. My question is what cone assembly, or coils and spiders should I get (assuming I use FI) to make it perform similar to an eclipse TI? Also, what basket should I use, or is there one that I can use with a four bolt pattern? I need some guidance and am a little knew to this so bare with me please, and maybe a price range so I know what I'm getting into. Thanks for the help. Also, when do the new woven tinsels come into production, and will all products be switched to this? It's …

Hey everyone, So i recently sold my 2 audiobahn 12'' sub woofers, and my amplifier. I have the money now to buy my 15''BTL fully loaded. I had a few questions that i am still not sure about. 1.What should my "ohms" be if im using a mono amplifier. 2.If my box is tuned to 3.25feet at 30HZ is that too little feet, and too low HZ? 3. Does anyone know a good mono amp to go with 1 fi BTL 15inch 4. Also is a BTL legit 2000RMS? i really aprciate all help, thanks everyone.

I was just wondering if anyone knew of any good car audio shops in Ohio (Columbus would be best) that have worked with Fi audio before and could do a custom wall for 2 12" BTLs and probably 2 TD20001 r/f amps. I like competing in meca's car shows (SPL) and i don't think i should do the box like originally was going to. Thanks

I was wondering if 140in of port is to small for 2 of the Bl 18's? When I build my box the port would be 20h x 7w x 12d that would be 32hz. The box would be 40h x53w x14d. Should they be tuned lower or higher? Thanx Jason

How loud will his be, haha. No but seriously - I was considering purchasing the 6000D because i can get one for only $100 more than the 4000D. I was going to use the 4000D for these 3 10s but hey, why not go with this one, you know? I am not going to deliver that much power to these subs, that is the point to this topic because i will not have the battery power to support the 6000ds potential. The question pertains to the BL's cooling option- Fi says as long as you do not burp the subs then the cooling option is fine for daily. I am planning on setting the amp up to output a real 4,500w(peak spikes) as if i were to have no voltage loss. Sometimes i show off setups usi…
