Well i got a decent amount of money back on my taxes so its time for a new system. I have decided on a bl 15 dual 1 ohm and I just want to make sure i got this right. My enclosure is 3.5 cuft after all displacement tuned to 32hz using two 4" tube ports each 15" long. I also will be using a memphis 1500d (1500 watts at 2 ohms). Does all that sound good? Any advice on what options I should add to the sub when ordering? Thanks guys I appreciate it.

Does anbody know anybody that can build a box for me and setup my system. I'm ordering 2 15" SSD Fi subs with copper coils and I'm getting a sundown 1500d amp. I have a 2006 trailblazer SS. I need it to be at least 7 cu ft. My main reson for this post is because I live in the dallas, tx area. Does anybody know anywhere I can get this done?

I just ordered my dual 2-ohm Fi Q15 last night and will be ordering the Cadence iA7 today. I was hoping that one of you would be able to point me in a good direction as to where I should buy an enclosure for this, or where I could have one built. I plan on going sealed, is there an ideal size besides just 2-2.6 cubes? Any other suggestions? Thanks guys

I'm pretty sure this isn't possible but, I was wondering if the Q series was universal. I have a Q10 D1 coils paired with a Sundown sae-1000D wired at 2ohms. I know that some of the subs you can change with a recone. Otherwise anyone know some magical way to get a 1ohm load on my amp haha.

i got an Fi BTL 12 and i would like to know what the best way about mounting it in the whole would be.... what kinda screws...coarse thread, t-nuts?

when people talk about tuning their ports to 33HZ and stuff is that based on the size of the port. Also could i run 2 12" SSD subs on a hifonics amp putttin out 1500RMS or should i get one that puts out 2000RMS.

i am planning on hooking a fi bl 12 up to my kicker zx 1000.1 amp which is 2ohm stable. do i buy a dual 1 ohm sub or a dual 2ohm? please help! thanks

I'm going to order four 10 " Q's to be mounted sealed each connected to it's own Alpine PDX 1.1000 , ( all 4 were benched at 1200 RMS ) , my question is BP power or no BP power , i have seen posts where they were said to perform wonderfully under 1000 watts , and many more that stated they could take more , so i'm confused as to if i should BP them or nt please answer , thank you

I am looking to run 4 12" BL subs in my SUV and was wondering what would be the best tuning and internal volume for an enclosure that size? Also would it be better with subs up and ports firing back? I will be running 2 Rockford Fosgate 2500-1bdcp amps on this set up.

Hi, I am thinking of getting an SSD motor used and reconing it. I was wanting to know if they are a universal motor and could put either a d2 or d1 recone on it, or am I stuck with what ever impedance that came on the ssd when it was 1st made. thanks

I was planing to make a box for my BL 15... but i have a few ideas.. whats the diffrents from the sub facing toward the rear of the vehical? Vs. The sub faced up ward toward the trunk lid? and what is a good tuneing for the sub? 35hz? 32hz? or 30hz? i have a 1500 rms amp... and i listen to rap and metal.. rap most of the time...

Hi I need some questions answered on the x12. I need some input on what size and kind of box to put it in. I have a phoenix gold xenon 400.1 to power it and I listen to a lot of bass heavy music ( rap, chopped & screwed, etc.). i am planning to go with the following sealed box for a Fi Q 15".. would there be any issues with the sub being mounted so close to the edges? theres only 0.1875in. of clearance on the top and bottom of the sub/edge

hello i purchased an 18 inch btl fL in june and 1 tinsle lead has broken off... i resoldered it 2 times and now its too short.. i was wondering how i could go about doing this now. do you guys have a tinsle lead kit i could buy from you guys or something, or would i need to buy a recone kit... if so i would like to do the the cheapest option. please help thanks in advance

Hello all, I have a 1999 GMC Yukon that I use on weekends to travel to sporting clays shoots. This truck will never be used in a Audio competition just two semi deaf old guys(36 an 38) like to play it loud. The current system is: Subwoofers and speakers 1 JL 18w3 2 Jl 10w0s 4 Infinity 6.5s Amps Kenwood 9104D (powering the 18) Alpine MRP-M500 (powering the 10s) Alpine MRP-F300 (powering the 6.5s) Other Two batteries high output alternator "big 3" This "system" does okay but we are getting a little bored with it. So i just ordered my 15" BL sub, and im getting it soon and cant wait, but im kind of stuck on what amp to run it off. I was looking at the Kicker ZX 1500 amp, using all Monster cables to power it. however, before i spend my money on this amp, i want to be sure that it will be the right amp? is there any other amp that could be better for me to get around the same price as the kicker amp? i rlly want my sub to pound, but sound good at the same time. thanks alot to anyone who helps me out

Hey guys, i need help with a box design and unfortunately im strapped on time. If someone could help me out with some plans with these specs i would be greatly in debt. Box is for 2 12's ( .15 displacement per) tuned to 32hz - slot port centered on box double baffle 3.6 cubic ft total 36w x 16h x ??d I need the width and height to stay at 36 and 16. I tried using subwoofertools.com but the program wouldn't give me 36x16x?? but rather 32.5 x 16 x 23.5 or something. Once again if someone could help it would be greatly appreciated.
