Just wondering what options I have to get this motor reconed. Are there any options I can choose to build a custom or hybrid sub or do you only have a standard setup for recones. thanks

I'm curious if you guys could build one for that sub? 4" coil, 10" spider landing Must use a spider spacer too. Which I have, it uses an inverted neo motor OD is close to 4-3/16" maybe 4-5/32. My calipars don't go past 4" lol thank you

Hey, I've got a MA Audio HK12X2 that is in need of a recone, I burped it once in '04 finals (it was it's first and las burp) it's been sitting since. The recone will need to be for spl Application, 3" VC 3/16-1/4" gap I'd appreciate any info. Thanks

I am looking for a recone for an SSA Icon motor and was wondering if you could do it. I am looking for max SQ as it is going to be for home use with a pair of B&W DM603 speakers. I also need a basket, I am looking for a 12" recone and basket.

I have 2 fully loaded BL 12's that are dual 2ohm and want to make them dual 1ohm. How hard is it to get them switched over? I have no skill at recone myself so do i need to send that back to FI? They are 3 months new.

I've never done a recone before, and I was wondering if there's instructions on exactly what needs to be done. And how to use the adheisive kit that comes from the website. Thanks for any help.

Does Fi offer a recone kit that would fit on a MA Audio 1800XL? If not, who would? The recone kit would have to include a new basket.

Can Fi recone this sub, it has a Tc9 motor with 3 inch coils. A guy over on ROE is selling one, it is only the motor and 4 spoke basket.

I have a BL 10" with DVC 2 ohm coils, I am wondering how hard it is to install the recone kit FI sells to recone it to DVC 1 ohm coils. I am asking because I am now considering ordering another BL 10", but I would need a DVC 1 ohm to get my amp down to 1 ohm . I know there are some out there that have ordered the kits from Fi, so guys, how hard was it for YOU to recone your sub with the kit??

hey, i have access to some ED Ov.2 motors, and was thinking it might be a good start to recone. Can a drop in recone kit be had for this sub? the vc is 62.5mm which is right around 2.5 in. I would like something inexpensive and sq related. i read in previous threads where the older e12k (desjil) was reconeable for like $60 or something. Just a quick question, I have a JL 12W6V2 that I bought on ebay a couple of years ago. Sub worked fine for a while, but eventully died on me (my fault of course, got a lil greedy with the gains lol)and has been collecting dust at the house ever since. I was wondering if FI can do a recone on this sub? Thanks.

Hey I'm hoping to have a Sonic FX Q 12" very soon (assuming DHL can find it ) I was wondering if you guys could recone it in the worst cast scenario were it gets blown??? It is very similar (practically the same thing) to Incriminator Audio's Death Penalty series, (in case you don't recognize the sub). I was just wondering what soft parts you would use in reconing it??? BTL, BL, Q ???? If you need more info on the sub let me know and I'll try and find it for ya. Thanks! Jon

Can I get a recone for 2 jl 12 w6's? My boy just smoked them and gave them to me. The only specs that I could find was, 300 watts rms, 2.5 inch coil, 11.1 xmax, and they are dual 6 ohm coils. And the dust cap comes with the recone? And what would be the new spes with the recone?

hello i was just wondering if i could get an update on my sub...i sent it in last month and got a reply that it was in....and then replied back to fr...and haven't heard since thanks....josh

just finished reconing my 18" BTL a few days ago.. been breaking it in at low volume.. after i thought it was broken in, i turned it up slowly and as i started getting to about 1/4-3/8s level of where i would normally play at my sub makes some what of a clicking noise to the sound of the bass, kinda sounds like plastic on plastic nocking/rattling.. any ideas from any one here as to what it could be ? havent pulled the sub out of the box yet to check anything, dont want to if i dont have to..

Hey guys, im from maximum threshold, my team captain has been waiting for a reply from scott about recones for my MT that we need for db drag world finals. Is there any way one of you can speed up the process a bit or maybe we can talk to another one of ya about it? We are in dire need of the recones and our trip to finals depends on it. Its a dual 1.4 ohm recone for an MT. Scott will know what im talking about as he's been emailing back and forth with Peter for a while, but as of late the emails have stopped.
