Hello again hey everyone i am trying to built my box for 2 18" fully loaded dual 2ohm btl's...I am either running 2 md-3d amps (us amps ) 2000rms at 1ohm or hifonics brutus amp (not sure model number) it does 2000rms @1ohm ...and i want to have the box @ 5cu per side tuned at 32hrzt that seems to be a good spot for daily ground pounder but not sure about port size the box is going in a 99 yukon so room isnt a issue...please help thanks agian

I noticed that on the first view of the cut sheet for the bl 15 that it says the width of the box is 33 3/4" but on the other two views it is 34" , is that some kind of mix up or am I missing something?

i sent you an email regarding a technical aspect of the BTL. its regarding info on if there is a way to physically measure the gap on a btl motor to identify a SPL motor from a Daily gapped motor. i talked to Nick about this issue, but after being convinced that my btl was a daily gapped motor...i now am doubting it. i took the woofer out of the box today and the sound it makes is just so mechanical metallic sounding on music. this to me would suggest a spl gapped motor. this motor originally belonged to kenny pollock and he said the SPL and daily option were not available at the time when this motor was made. however, it does have all the other options on it (fully loade…

Just a quick question, I have a JL 12W6V2 that I bought on ebay a couple of years ago. Sub worked fine for a while, but eventully died on me (my fault of course, got a lil greedy with the gains lol)and has been collecting dust at the house ever since. I was wondering if FI can do a recone on this sub? Thanks.

Scott we talked about you reconing a DD 2500 motor which has a 2.5" coil. Well i was woundering if you have any coils that will fit an Atomic AP/SPL gap? If so im going to send you an email with some more info. Just wanted to check with you before i picked up these other two motors. Corey

ok so i have a 98' chevy blazer s-10 and im going to make a 10 cuft box but i need to know how much space the brackets and braces will take up and what size MDF should i buy??

would a BL 15 be alright all the way up to 5 cubes of air space? i know fi recommends 4 for optimal, but im just curious if it still sounds how its supposed to up to 5 cubes.

i have a kicker zx1000.1....1000wts rms at 2 ohm planning on getiing a dual 1 ohm 10 inch or 12 inch bl for an 2001 eclipse need the recomended specs for the 10in bl and 12 inch bl.. which sub would be better for my setup and car?

Hello, i want to build a box for (2) FI Q 15s, here is the size of the area i have too work with WIDTH = 32 INCHES HEIGHT = 18 INCHES DEPTH = 29 INCHES I will be able to add height to the box if I shorten the depth for a sealed box i can use the cutout sheet that FI recommended at 2.5 c.f., i'll just build two seperate boxes then just bolt them together. now for a ported box i have no idea what volume or what to tune it to??? i listen to metal, rock, country, blues,everything inbetween, but i don't listen to rap. I'm trying to order a bl 15 and everything goes smoothly until I hit pay now and it tells me there has been an error and to choose a different payment method. I have Discover card and have used it to purchase since I've tried purchasing from Fi and it works so I know it's not the card. I have E-mailed Fi twice since Saturday night and they still havent responded. I would like to order as soon as possible. I've seen on here that they are behind on orders right now or something, but it would be nice if they could reply to me. Maybe they'll see it on here and help me. Am I missing something that I need to order my sub? Any comments would help. Thanks

Ok i'm going to be building a box for a Bl 15 4.0^3ft @32hz. And I was wondering where would be the best place to mount the speaker in the box. Its going to be a slot ported box. Should i have it closer to the edge of the port or the other end of the enclosure? What about the top? I hope this isnt to confusing. I just want to know if there is an optimal position for the sub on the box.
