I want to make an SPL system so I`m asking what option should I set and this sub is good for spl. Sorry for my english I`m from Bulgaria.

assuming both had the BP option and would be fed by a 2200 w rms amp, what kind kind of difference would i notice musically between the subs?

Does anyone have the TS parameters for the Black Fi-Day X, specifically the 10"?

Im wanting to build a box for my two 15's because i want to get my system term lab'd at a local shop and right now i have a fiberglass box but i want to make another box all out of MDF. so if anyone can help id greatly appreciate it.

Im getting 1 18'' fi.btl fully loaded and my enclosure is going to be 6.3 cuft. (After all displacements) 3/4mdf tuned to 34hz. But as far as the port can you please tell me how long,tall,wide,etc. it should be for best hairtricks,loud bass at high notes,and the best low bass I can get (Since being tuned to 34hz.) without port noise. One more thing as far as the enclosure should I have the top and bottom of the enclosure double baffled or triple baffled or the whole enclosure double or triple baffled or what? Please help as much as you can I really appreciate it!!! Thanks guys

do u guys have a list or catalogue? I hate asking for each individual part... I feel like im always hastling uguys here for recone parts either way need some dvc 1.4 and 0.7 alum coils, cones, spiders, tinsel(the thick stuff) and some dust caps do u prefer an email with a list?

Im soon to be getting 1 15" ssd but i just have a few questions on what i should do to elctrical to make it sound the best it could without spending alot of money at all (under 150$). it will probably be going in a ported box about 3.1 after all displacements at 32-33hz. Now my car is a 1995 saturn sl2. stock alternator and wiring. battery is over a year old. would just replacing all wiring in my car to 0 guage do the trick or would i have to go alot further. 0 guage on big 3 then on power and ground also. I would also like to know if my US amps XT2000D would be good to power it. thanks.

im about to switch to port tubes instead of slot ports and i was wondering if i have 2 18" fi q's how many 6" diameter ports would i need. i have the box set up into two chambers at 7.1 cubes each. i was wanting to tune the box around 31-33 hz. i didn't know if i should use 2 ports per chamber or just one and what the exact lengthe should be.....ive used most calculators and they are telling me with 1 6" port in a 7.1 cube box the length should only have to be 6 inches, which doesnt seem right b/c i was thinkin more like 15-16 inches. shoot me some info thanks

Just currious if the new 12" BTL would be better suited in 2.5 or 3 cubic feet? Would tuning at 32 work or would I be better off tuning higher? Any info would be appreciated

I already made one box that was 26x27.5x16 and it didnt fit in the trunk of my 94 accord I dont really have much room to work with I know 26x18x16 will work but is there any possible way I can get it tuned right? I will use aero ports or slot.

Ok so i dont have much room in my car (well is a van lol) i have like 17" form my very back seat to the back window. Is that enough room for 2 15"s? I can move the seat forward like 7-8 inches if not more then i would have to take out the middle seat i would do that if its nessacery. So i will take pictures soon and post them so you guys can help me out tell me what to do. Im kinda new at this stuff so be nice. Lol

This is my current box plans for the 1 18"BTL and 1 Saz-3000d I have. I plan on putting all these into a 03 Tiburon(hatch) and competing in spl. Really my only question is would a bigger box better/ is 5.27 cubic feet enough. I wanted to know if the RE SX recones that fi have on the site will fit and work in the HC motor as well. I tried to get a hold of Nick at FI through several emails to find out but no reply , so after a couple of weeks I went ahead an ordered the RE SX 15 d2 as there was no recones for the HC on the site . any help would be appreciated Thanks in advance.

hello, If anyone can tell me the port length for a 15inch fully loaded BTL that would be great. they took down the specs for the new woofer i guess, making it unable for me to read it. So if anyone can tell me all the port information for a 15inch btl i would really appreciate it. Thank you

What would be good for getting the most volume out of my 10" Fi Q. I want it to go ported for some more output, and it'll be running off of a MD1D at 1 ohm (1200 rms). Thanks a bunch

I have a toyota ex cab truck and I was wanting to know what is the biggest sub set up I can fit in the back? The space in the back is 19'' deep X 22'' tall X and 53'' wide. I want to do a ported box with either 2 Q18's or 2 Q15's. Given this amount of space what do you think I could fit back there? -Alex

I believe I will be running this amp at 1ohm to my dual 2 ohm sub. Will this sub handle what is said to be 1500w RMS from the SAZ (which I have heard is under rated)? I am not planning to pin the gain or anything, I just do not want to blow the sub.

I already have 1 BL 12 with a sundown 1500d on it now, i was going to sale it and just get some 18s or whatever. Now if I go ahead and just get another BL 12 with same options I have now which are D2, cooling, and flatwind, and run them to a pair of strapped 1500d's they should be fine with that power? I figured they would be ok, since already have 1500 watts on 1. thanks.

hey, im ordering 2 BLs, i kinda have a design for a box, but need some help since this will be my first attempt at making one here is my plan i got a question on the length to the second port, i used the re enclosure so it game the the first, but does the second port wood need to be directly or close to the center of the subwoofer? and to separate the 2 woofers, do i need 2 pieces of wood or jsut 1? thanx

I have a 2003 Chevrolet Tahoe and I am going to put a Fi BL 18" in it. It will be powered with a Rockford Fosgate T10001bd amp and a Kinetik battery. Just ordered it yesterday I have a general idea of the specs on my box in order to fit the 5-10 cubic feet. It will be about 9 cubes by the time everything is displaced. The only problem since I am new to car audio and this is my first system is what are the dimensions of the port? The box will be W 45" x H 20" x D 20" with 3/4" MDF. I want to tune the box to 32Hz.
