I have two ol'skool fosgate 8 ohm 12's and one mtx terminator 12. I know craptastic, its stuff i have left over from years of being a packrat. I wanna put them under the seat in my titan. I can get a box that upon completion and displacement will be about 1.2 sealed. If i install all three of these subs in this box undivided will they fight each other or cause cancelations? I can't get enough airspace to divide the box up. I don't even know if this is making any sense.

I am shopping for two 12" subwoofers that will work well in a small vented enclosure. I would like the net volume to be 4^3 ft. or less (net meaning not including driver, material or port displacement). Some other requirements are: ~2000wrms per driver ~low f3 ~daily setup, music only ~enclosure tune to 30-32 hz with a 60-80hz xover point ~I mostly listen to rap I am considering having custom subwoofers built if needed. What are "ideal" T/S parameters based on my preferences?

Recently I edited some music, and it had a few really low notes. Decided it was about time I moved my high pass up a little from 15hz. Did that and then for some reason decided it was a good idea to reset my gain even though it sounded perfect as is... As I was doing this and I had the gain all the way down and the deck paused, I noticed a fluttering whine coming from my subs. Thought it was a little weird cause I had never noticed it before. I forgot to mark where I had the gain before which was a mistake.. I tried to set the gain with a 40hz tone, but It was hard to tell where It actually started clipping, I was hearing distortion way before I should have. I thought I h…

Ok well I'm basically new to the whole audio game, I've mostly always been a gearhead but to many speeding tickets and close calls made me realize that I need to find something else thatscar related and enjoyable. Which turned me onto car audio. I just recently got into the car audio game and am ready to upgrade my factory speakers. I already have my sub stage done and my car is already deadened. The factor speaker location places 2 tweeters on the top of the dash aiming att he curve of the windshield.(My guess would be to reflect back at he passangers? :S). Both the front and rear doors and 6.5's In them and my rear deck lid has 2 6x9's. Any speaker suggestions would be …

I have the opportunity to pick up a pair from a friend of mine. These are supposedly team subs. I think he said they are the xs v2. I know they are massive. And one has the spider that separated from the edge. But he said I could have them for $300. I cannot find any information on the 10inch version. Is this a good price? And does anyone else know about them?

so, I went to my local car audio shop and was getting a box built for my maw-15's that would fit in the trunk of my '06 Pontiac G6. And obviously thats going to be impossible trying to build a box to the rec. specs for the maw-15's. Anyway. He then turned me on to alternative route. Groundpounders from Crunch Audio. Now I will probably keep my Maw's in my Taurus, but for the G6 I was intrigued with the things he told me. The Subs look quite stout. So I was considering going with a 2x 12" GP12D2 setup or a 3x GP10D2 setup. Not sure what would be better. Or if thats even good at all. Im currently in college so money is tight. but with the $65 pricetag at onlinecarstereo.com…

I really want a 18, extremely bad but I have been lead away from it due to trunk space. My question is, if I put a SSD 18 in a 5.5 cuft box how would it sound compared to a SSD 15 in a 3cuft box. I wouldn't have a problem fitting the 15 in but the 18 would be a snug fit, but its much more appealing.

Hey guys, I currently have 2 Image Dynamic ID12's in a 4 cube ported box being pushed by an AQ1200D (870rms x 1 @ 2ohms) and my box is tuned to 30Hz. I want to "upgrade" and have something that's louder, still fairly accurate, can hit the higher bass notes (current box is severely lacking in that area, but hits the lows nicely) while still being able to bang the lows too, and has a smaller footprint. My car is a 04 Monte Carlo and currently the subs/port are rear firing, no speakers in my rear deck to allow more bass into the cabin. I'm open to all suggestions as for layout and what subs to use to accomplish my goals. My budget for sub(s) is $400 maximum! My only requirem…

Well I am pretty sure I have made up my mind and just wanted to know what you guys thouht of the SS RF-60C speakers. I have been reading decent reviews and found them for about 175$ shipped. Are they worth it? Also how much power should I amp these speakers with? is there a key like don't go over 25% max rms for amplifying or something? http://techronics.com/caraudio_9003_Soundstream-RF-60C-Reference-6-5-inch-Component-Car-Audio-Speakers.html
