what do u think about these speakers ... KICKER KS 6.2 ...well they r not DS series ...but how is the build quality and sound ??

k im preparing to do a sound competition i had a custom box built for4 kicker l5's, but the company i ordered my subs from accidently sent me 2 l7's and 2 l5's will that mess up my system by running 2 of each i will b running 2 1000 watt amps both at 1 ohmso 2 subs to each

i am looking for the opt box size for the kicker l7 15's i have all the stuff from kicker, but didnt sound right has anyone had any luck for spl boxes

I was just wondering how much different the 2004 models L7 to the newer ones. how much louder they are if they they sound better stuff like that.

whats the scope on these subs? i hear that they sound like farts NO SQ what SOO ever. but i have SX15 and i was thinking of getting 2 L7 10's. but i also looking into 15's could someone tell me whats up with them?

I have 2 kicker l715 inch subs in a sealed box,is there anyway i can tell if they are 4 ohm or 2 ohm? Just wanna get the right amp...

hi, which sub has better SQ and which one sounds louder i don't want just SPL i want SQ to using them on a sealed box... what you think of both brands?

Im building a box for two kicker L7 15's [ 36"w x 20"d x 17"h ], to go in a 2005 monte carlo. not much trunk space. kicker says 3.5 cuft. with three 4" x 19.25 ports for each. I wonted to fire them to the rear with the the ports on the same face as the subs, but the 36" w wont allow for that. My problem is the port placment.. What would be the next best place for the ports? Thanks for the help.

I just got my hands on a 04' Kicker 15" L7. Some girl was gonna throw this away in the dumpster, so I asked if I could have it. Anyway, I hooked this up to my Zed Mini and it powers up just fine. One thing I did notice is that there is a bit of cone noise (distortion) as if the cone is breaking up. Everything on the sub looks great. The surround spider and tinsel leads all look very new. Is this a normal thing for these subs? I'm not familiar with this model. I'll probably sell it in the near future if it's in good working condition. Any suggestions about my concerns? Thanks.

I have a kicker L7 in a sealed box (its dumb I already know) and a kicker zx750 I am looking to buy a bigger box ported box (3 cubic feet or so) but have been warned about the lack of quality in some boxes. Which one of these would be a better choice? Option 1 or Option 2 Or are these not the best choices for an enclosure at all?

I have got two '08 L7 12'' coming in tomorrow. I have i built an enclosure that is 4.6 cubes after sub and port displacement, the port is 14.5''H, 4.5''W, and 17 inches deep. i figured the tuning to be about 37-39 Hz is this correct? Did i build a proper sub enclosure for these two? I am pretty sure that i am above the minimum airspace requirement for two of these drivers. i want it to get pretty damn loud but still be musical, i plan on using this for daily as well as a few of the local shows around here this year I dont want to roll up to these shows looking like i havent got a clue(because i dont). Going to run Kicker subs the 6.5 and 6x9 Im not sure to go with ? The two that I am looking at is the Kicker K693 (6x9) and the K65 (6.5) and the other is the Alpine SPR-694A (6x9) and SPR 174 (6.5) and they will be run off a amp.

Finally I am looking for a 15" sub for my truck. The box is going to be about 3.75 cubes tuned to 33 with appr. 1200 wrms. Here are the two subs I have narrowed down to... 15" Kicker L7 for $185 shipped 15" SSA Icon $230 shipped I have never heard an icon but I have read great reviews on them. I have dealt with kicker for a few years now and have always been satisfied with their subs. My question is will the ssa icon be noticeably better street beating than the L7 even though the L7 has more cone area.

I know most of you guys probably don't use Kicker, but I found an awesome deal from an awesome local seller for a pair of the Kicker RS 6.5 inch components and a Kicker ZX350.2 amp. No stores sell the higher models of Kicker gear so I was wondering how you think these components would be?

I just went to kickers site to look up info on my cousins comps and their entire site has been redone and they have a new sub in their lineup, the solo classic. They claim it to be very musical in small sealed enclosures, and now im really curious if maybe kicker has finally made something halfway worthwhile... anyone know anything about them?

Well lads I went to strip a friends walled install on Saturday as he want it rebuilt. It was installed by a "professional" installer over here in Ireland. Now the problem lies with the SoloX 18 Kicker sub he had. Its the first generation Sub made by kicker, when being installed the installer dropped a hammer through the original dual 1 cone, so it had to be replaced. since the sub is in the car it has been smelly, like Kicker is, so the installer said he would replace the cone. what do you think about the kicker cvx 15"s?? personally how good do they pick up the lower frequencies?? and also are there any better subs in the same price range?if so what are they? Thanks fellas

I currently have just 2 12" kicker comps that i bought at curcit city. I want... i NEED, more power and bass So now I'm deciding between 2 15" Kicker L7's or an 18" Fi BTL I'm looking for loudness! Can you tell me about these subs?
