Hey guys. I've got a little 6.5 inch woofer that I am going to use a midbass driver. What kind of enclosure should I put it in? Sealed or ported and what size/tuning? Thanks guys. It will be run off of about 50~60 watts.

hey guys . im new to this forum. finally good to see powerbass gettin the word out.. i currently own 2 12's pbx . and a 1500d amp. i have an extended cab s-10. what size box do i need to build for 2 12's.. what box sze and what port. and which direction should my port be? also was wondering how should i wire it up also.. thanks if you can help me.

I've got 4 of the Morel MW-142's sitting in my garage and I can't help but notice that the 5" 327 component driver looks identical. The Morel MW-142 has a 3" voice coil and is rated at 150 watts RMS as well. where should i put my amp (zx1000.1) on my car, should i put it on the box (Fi Q 12") or should i mount it on the side of the trunk?

anybody know of any good component sets for around 100$,size 6.5 with 1 inch tweeters.i been lookink at kiker ks but there around 150$.

Nick, please give some guidelines on how to properly wire your D2 to this amp.

I am planning on making a box that is about a max of 2.1 cubes after displacement and tuned to 33 hz and made for 3 8" subs. I am caught between 3 dc level 2 8s, sundown sa-8s v1 with copper clad aluminum coils, sound splinter rl-i8s, or maybe something else readily available that would do good on around 1000 at 2.67 ohms, 1100 watts at 2 ohm, 1600 at 1.5, or 2000 at 1. I am going to use them for daily use but may try some spl runs as well. Which would be the best for me to get? And if possible, tell me why you say your choice and possibly the easiest place to get them.

hey guys i need some help building a box for these bad boys, i'm purchasing 2 as soon as my paypal can get varified, so in the mean time i want to build a box for these, its my first time building a box and need some tips also. What would be a good amount of space for the subs, i was thinking around 4-5 cf total for the subs, tuned to 28-32hz, i'm not goin to compete or anything just want a pretty good street beater. i think i did some calcs i think the most i can fit in my car is 4.5 cf including port , but i might have to re-calc again, and any suggestions are welcome. thanx

how can i tell if i have 2 or 4 ohm coils if it dont say on the woffer

Got 2-12" Lethal Injections coming. 600W rated rms, they'll be getting 600Wrms ea. @2ohms. Displacement .13. Sealed or ported? Flared or rectangular ports? Internal volume? Two chambers or one? Does port size determine tuning freq.?

well im looking to go 3 way in the next couple of months and i think i have found my system. this is going in my jeep hu- clariondxz785usb amps- sundown 100.2 and 100.4 speakers(this is where I need opinions) tweets- seas prestige 27tffnc/g midrange- Eminence alpha-6a midbass- peerless nomex 8" plan on having midbass in door sealed and midrange and tweets in kicks. Does any one have any objections to this setup. and will these speakers work good together

hello all, I am redoing my install and decided why the heck not try going ported while I am at it. Just not sure if I have enough room to. So what is the smallest suggested cuft for a Mag 15 ported? the new version that is. also, reccomended tuning as well. I am not going for all out spl. I am a huge sq guy that just wants to go ported and try it out. So I still wanna keep as much SQ as possible with a ported box. thanks in advance. and if there is anyone that is real good at doing box plans please let me know.

Anyone here use around 600rms on a Mag 15? I am debating instead of adding another battery into the car to just downgrade the power going to it. 600rms would be half of what I'm sending to it now. Its in a sealed box. Think it owuld be a huge difference in output or does the Mag do really bad with that amount of power?

I'm doing some planning in here...hopefully in a month or so I can pickup one of the new Eclipse head units and some speakers. The only thing I've dealt with before is a set of MBQuart speakers(RSD-216 RKC-116) and an MTX amp. I don't want to take up ANY room in my trunk as nearly 1/2 will be gone with my sub. So that means no more amps at all period. Unless you guys can tell me that I could mount it under my seat or something but even then I dunno as it does cost more money. I have a pair of kenwood kfc-p709ps component speakers and need help with the cross over settings. The head unit i have is a eclipse cd5030 and the amp I am running the component speakers on is a jl audio 300/2v1.

Will there be more components produced? I so much want to get my hands on the 327`s. If you still can make these it`d be great to receive them along with a T-shirt And as i understand, a lot of SI products are ordered from UK lately. Seems the Audi A2 with the Baz-box has caught attention

I'm looking for a 12" sq sub in the 500-600w range. I haven't been keeping up, but I seem to remember reading that RE products have gone down in quality. I know the IDQ is an all time favorite. Anything else fit the bill?

Have a box for a different sub i'm running right now, wanted to know if i could expect good low end bass from a 12 d2 in a 2.1 cube box tuned at 30 hz before driver displacement.. I would be feeding it ~700w daily. I'm a deep bass junkie, but i had to get rid of my HC 15, and need something in a 12" driver that can get LOW in a box no bigger than 2.1 cubes ported, 2.3 cubes sealed and shallow (12" would be my only option from SI). I can get more power, i was wondering if i could just plug the D2 into my box as i don't really want to make another one, it's quite a pain because it's not square. Hey guys, I was planning on getting the Oxygen audio Air-83 3-way component speakers.I liked the fact that they included a large mid-bass woofer, another decent sized mid-range and a tweeter all in one. Also, I liked how they were a component set because i do not know enough yet to run an active system. But the problem is that I waited too long and now amazon don't have them in stock. Does anyone know a comparable set? Like i said before, I'd like a large mid-bass and mid-range, component set with a passive crossover, and i would prefer not to pay through the nose to get them. I am looking into replacing my front stage right now and was wanting some advise on which way to go. My budget is $500 for just the speakers in a 2-way setup. I drive a 4 door 99 Grand Am and have no speakers in the rear. My current front stage consists of the Focal 165KF running passive. The Focals sound good in the higher ranges but lacks greatly in the lower ranges. I am not looking at getting louder just more low end and detailed. I cross my sub around the 50-60hz range and would like to bring my front stage close to that range also. I am looking to better the staging in my car.
