Recently I edited some music, and it had a few really low notes. Decided it was about time I moved my high pass up a little from 15hz. Did that and then for some reason decided it was a good idea to reset my gain even though it sounded perfect as is... As I was doing this and I had the gain all the way down and the deck paused, I noticed a fluttering whine coming from my subs. Thought it was a little weird cause I had never noticed it before. I forgot to mark where I had the gain before which was a mistake.. http://www.reconingspeakers.com/ so i've been looking for a recone at a decent price for my RF power hx2 15 and came across this site. they r the best deal i can find. full recone kit for $75 which is 10 bucks cheaper then forevrbumpn from smd. they only show the 12" version of my sub on the site but i emailed them n they got it for mine too. anyone ever dealt with them or heard anything good or bad about them?

hey guys I need help deciding.. i want to switch to txo twelves and was just wondering with my power what would be a better choice? I have two memphis mojo 2500s and want four twelves.. now with 8 cubes to work with should I go with ia death penaltys or sundown nightshades? thanks for any help!

is $330 good price for a AA mayhem 15 shipped i ask him if the cone was stiff or loose he said the middle so does that mean its not fully broken in to? he had two of the subs on a 5k powerbass at 1ohm for about 6 months its a dual 1 reading .9 on both coils

After all specs and pricing is weighed, what would be the better route? Amp would be a stetsom 4k2d or saz 3500d. Biggest enclosure I could do is 4.2 cubes before displacements. I will use two 4" x 17" aeroports (double flare). Thanks

What do u recommend for SQ??? Will be in a sealed box with 7" max depth mount... Net vol. too factory rec.. Up firing under the back seat of my ext cab sierra.. I do NOT have a amp yet but would like to stick with any of the sundown amps... Like to keep it around or under $300 for one or two subs which ever sounds better. i found this design on the web, and i was wondering how good it is. i know absolutly nothing about these types of designs. i would like to learn how they work, so if someone could elaborate a little it would be great....at least if this design is anywhere near accurate...

will this box be big enough for 1 10" level 4 xl? this box will be going under my rear f150 seats. it is a sealed box but i need some help designing it to be a ported box. but overall i need to know if there will be enough mounting depth to fit a 10" level four xl. Thanks

I bought it so that my girlfriends car seat for her son could be easily removed and such. We broke up today and are completely and totally done. I think it is time for a wall in my 2003 Mazda 6. I have been looking hard at the MAW-15's but would also consider the MAW-12's. What kind of space ported am I looking at and what kind of power can I feed four of them ported in a wall? I know I can give four of the 15's atleast 2k watts but would they be ok with like 6-700 a piece?

Hey gang, Exhausting all my options on pricing speakers - both subs and components. As the topic states, is it ok to buy speakers from "E store" vendors? They have language that state are "new in box", "never opened" etc.... I'm skeptice when it comes to buying electronics on line but these are speakers,.....but still concerned. What's your take? Has anyone used these subs? Im currently running two wired at 4 ohm bridged to a 2 Channel Planet Audio 2600.2. Its getting 1800 rms. Can these subs safely be over powered because i know some subs are rated lower than what they can actually take. Also, if anyone has used these subs, have you ever been metered?

Last year I traded locally with this guy for a 12w4. The sub is in my 2006 Chevy single cab truck. Box is roughly 2 cubic feet slot ported tuned at 32hz. The sub sounds perfect for the enclosure. Very very good and accurate sound. My only problem is that it's being pushed by a RF Amp with a birth sheet of 926 rms watts. Definite overkill for the sub. So I've turned it way down. Even at that, if I crank it at the deck and certain frequencies the sub sounds like it's being crunched. So I've thought about swapping the sub for a higher wattage subs. So i have been looking around at some midbass woofers but i am not to sure what to look for. What i would like from my midbass is that it sound good between the rages of 60hz-300hz. the midbass woofer will be placed in the door, 2007 ford escape. I would like to keep it under 65 per woofer.

My friend Jhovani had 2 15in subwoofers in a blowthrough in his 1999 F150. Jhovani came over today and he asked me if we could put his box from his bed into his cab. So that's what we did.. Unscrewed the box from the mounts, cut the wire and freed the box. This build was done probably 10 years ago so the truck and the subs weren't in the greatest condition. The rattling from the truck and subs was horrendously loud from the interior and exterior. ok....i have one of the 12" dvc power bass xtreme subs......is there anyway to tell if i have the dual one ohm or dual 2 ohm subs??? any markings or anything like that? dont have a multimeter so i cant exactly test for myself

I am getting a Fi Q15 dual 2 running at 4ohms. I matched the sub with a Autotek 1900.1D mono block. I was wondering whether to go ported or sealed. I know ported is louder but it is hard for me to track down a enclosure online and I can't locate a local shop to make a custom one for me. Is it worth it to go ported or no? If so can you show me a great site that has good prices to get a box that would fit the q15. Also any comments on my set up would be greatly appreciated. FYI I am on a 650 budget. Well here goes: I have 2 15" RE SX's and two Sundown Audio SAZ 1500d's. Problem is, the Fs of the SX is 27.8 and the box that I'm going to use(or was gonna use) is tuned to 54hz. Now being that the Fs is 27.8, it's not a SPL sub now I realize in a box that is tuned to 54hz.(I'm still learning I'm a semi-newb) I've heard the 15" SX in a 46hz tuned box with a 1000 watt DD amplifier and it sounded ok, but I've had a few people tell me, these 2 SX's are going to sound bad as in terrible in a 54hz box. Does anyone have any opinions/suggestions/solutions or alternatives? I may be switching sub's and if I have to whats a better alternative? I need 2 15's with the Fs around 34-…
