As I was making some room in my Jeep to get ready for my big move, I took out the subs and noticed that one of them had the dustcap loose and shreds of paper were in the box! Thankfully, the cone didn't shred. The sub still functions but it looks awful. Oh well, part of the game I guess.

i am going to be facing my sub down in my truck to make everything kinda hidden. curious if having the sub facing down will have a really different effect then the sub facing up or facing towards the front? anyone have experience with this?? thanks!

I got a alpine pdx 1.600 and an infinity kappa perfect 10.1 sub....as the only sub. Is it gonna blow it/make it sound like chit? The RMS is 600 on the amp, and 350 RMS on the sub.

hey all i was wondering... should i be expecting a major difference or any difference at all if i switch over from IDmax 12" v2? i want a good SQ sub but gets nice and loud BUT i want it in a sealed enclosure.. right now i have a Avionixx AXT 800.2 running to my IDMax in a 1.5 cu ft box.. thanx ahead btw i was wondering would two 12 mags fit in the back of my 2003 civic sedan thanx again

hey all, i just signed in w/ the forum. actually, what i wanna know is what size sub/s is best for my application. first of all, i plan on purchasing the Pioneer Premier TS-C720PRS comps powered by the Zed Audio Gladius Burr Brown amp. has ne1 listened to these cause i agree the front stage is the most imporant. im building a SQ system for my 02 dodge ram single cab. so, air flow is a prob. my friend says that a 12 would be too big, but does it depend on the mounting depth + box size? I love subs like the crystal cmpx2 that they only make in a 12 and 15. even if say a 12 would fit; would it be too much? he also said 2 8's is best for sq but idk how. i realize sq is subjec…

After seeking help from numerious forums..(ROE, Termpro, SSA, and SMD) I've narrowed down my box design to just two for my DC LvL4 18. I just do know which one I want to build. Should I go with box 1 or box 2 Box 1: Tuning is now looking right at around 33Hz. Box 2: Tunning is around 30Hz

Simple question here how much can a vvx 8" handle? I know it says 400rms but for those who own them would I be able to put lets say 600rms for daily use? And how good are they?

Ok so im working on my box and i have the option to do 2 8's or 1-12" aero port for my box. Im not sure which will be the better way to go and i know they equal roughlly the same thing. planning a sealed box for a 18" rl-p, and i want this thing to be solid. first things first, im gonna resin it. should i do the entire inside, or just the edges? i was thinking mainly the edges to give it a nice tite seal. can i use resin instead of caulk? or should i caulk first, then resin? 2nd, instead of using a 2x baffle, i was thinking about bracing it. i saw this bracing thing from bcae: http://www.bcae1.com/spboxnew2.htm and was going to stick 2 of those in the box. (dims are 42x12.5x18.75) also maybe add some polyfill. the box + the bracing and displacement is going to be around 4.18 cubic ft w/o the fill thanks in advance

Well ive decided to take the TC9 and recoen it to an 18. im hopping to get the hook up and learn how to recone speakers the right way. as for the e12a coen and coil. Would it be possible for me to remove the surround and spider all surgery like and put a new on on and sell it? i know putting a new surround on a cone is easy, spiders, however, i dont know. Ideas?

Has anyone heard them? If so how do they sound and what size enclosure were they in. How much power was running to them? I am wanting to see if I can run a pair in a 12 net cube box with an AQ 2200 on each. Also if anyone has any vids please post them I really want to see what they can do.

Im trying to decide which 12" sub i want in my car (its a 75 Chevy Nova hatchback). I listen to almost nothing but rap and i want to be very loud with one 12. Amp is a sae-1200dv1,im going to do the big 3 in 1/0 gauge,and i replaced my alternator when i rebuilt my engine but i have no idea how many amps it is. My budget is $350 so ive been looking at the Mach 5 spl,fi bl,and aq hdc3 copper...open to suggestions,i will make the optimum enclosure for whichever 12 i get. Im leaning toward the mach 5 or aq for when i want to upgrade my power instead of having to add another sub and amp.

Currently my plans are to go with a 12" PG Titanium Elite 12" with a PG RSD1200 amp. The setup would be ported, probably 2.5cf tuned to 30-32Hz. But I'm afraid that it migh not be enough. I want something that makes it hard to take a breath at full tilt or makes my vision blurry. Can a ported 12" do this with only 1200 rms? I drive a 2008 Hyundai accent so there's not a lot of room. I could do a 15" but it would HAVE to be sealed. What would you go with? A ported 12" or a sealed 15"?

Researched both and like what I read on both for SQ. Both are great looking subs, but don't know if I want the Morel because of 1000watts. Just don't want to hit that hard but if it is that tight and clean I would consider it. What do you guys think.

i have a powerbass asa1500d 1500 rms at 1 ohm i clamped it at 1603 rms without clipping so which would get louder on that power an icon 15 or an xcon 12

So the new SQ hdx are out and just wondering who has played with the 12s, I’m contemplating getting them in the dual 1s and want to know what people think? Only person I know running them has a wall of the 15s and I run 2 12s so not quite the comparison

anyone have the parameters layin around for the ixl 10? Mach 5 took the ixl 10 off there sight and now i cant find the specs. any help is appreciated

ok....i have one of the 12" dvc power bass xtreme subs......is there anyway to tell if i have the dual one ohm or dual 2 ohm subs??? any markings or anything like that? dont have a multimeter so i cant exactly test for myself

does anyone out there by chance have a file made for WinISD pro alpha? for 15 inch magnum. i had it but lost in durring reformatting (yeah i used to be a computer nerd hehe) but now when i try to make one with the updated alpha pro it says stuff is missing and i need more specs. but on the bright side, it seems the updated pro alpha might be more accurate with magnums? i know lots of stuff looked really crummy on paper wth it in the old pro alpha, but modeling up a 12incher ported in there (yes i kept 12 inch files) it had a better F3 than the ported 15s from the old version.

Anyone got a large Stereo Integrity logo as jpg, .psd, .tif, etc i want to make a speaker grill, but i need a logo so i can etch out some plexi. travis
