I have a 1995 Honda Accord. I was thinking about putting in some tweets in the a-pillars of my Honda. I don't want to make it a guess and check scenario and mess up my a-pillars. Is there any place or can someone tell me how I can obtain these custom a-pillars or how to make them? Thanks, -Curt

OK so i am going to put a 18" btl in the rear deck of my 96 impala ss and was wondering how many 6" aero tube would enough for one 18". And how many for two 18" btl's i plan to put both in the rear deck and trying to see if i have enough area. any help would be great

I'm getting an enclosure and I haven't seen it yet, but the dimensions I gave were 48x14x?? I want to bolt it to the floor of my car, but I just realized I have a bolt to loosen the spare in the way... the enclosure would cover it. Is there anyway to bolt it on brackets or something to raise it off the floor, so I can gain access to the bolt, while still securing it? Any good ideas? Heres the cut in the rug for the bolt. (It's the U shape in the rug)

hey guys! Here's the dealio. I currently run an 18" BL tuned to 35Hz and am looking to upgrade. Its in a tiny tiny box, (maybe 5 cubes) and I know I need more space, but i cant make anymore in my trunk so I'm switchign it out! Here's what i have to work with. Sundown 1500D for my amp around 4.5 cubes, maybe upto 5 max if I need it biggest sub size i can fit in there is a 15" I don't really have a budget...maybe $400 max for the sub(s). Goals for this are to have a little bit more lower end output (will be tuning to around 32Hz for new box) What are some good sub reccomendations?? Has anyone heard them? If so how do they sound and what size enclosure were they in. How much power was running to them? I am wanting to see if I can run a pair in a 12 net cube box with an AQ 2200 on each. Also if anyone has any vids please post them I really want to see what they can do.

Hi guys, Im new to this forum so i hope i put this thread in the right place. I have 2 10" Kicker L7's in my truck that are getting power from a Hifonics Bx1605d in a sealed fiberglass box I started noticing the the one on the right is acting a little funny and buzzing a little bit. i took it out the other day and realized that it has a rip in the coil. Its on 04 model so it is decently old. I called Kicker and asked if they do repairs and they told me no but i could send it and $210 in and they will send me a 08 model... i can get the 08 models off ebay for far cheaper... my other one is fine but this one sounds horrible.... whats up guys, been debating on what sub/amp combo I wanna go with, thought I decided on 2 soundsplinter 10's with an alpine pdx 1.1000 amp, but then I realized I might not want that much bass.. I listen to probably 75% rock, 25% rap, I want something with great sound quality, but I guess when necessary I wanna be able to turn it up and feel it when I listen to rap.. dunno if I should go with 2 10's, one 12", or maybe one REALLY good 10"... I have heard of subs like the JL 10w7 sounds really crisp, but when you want it to be loud, it can sound like 2 12"s almost.. what sub does SS, SSA, etc make that would be the equivalent of the 10w7? I am slowly getting tired of listening to my bootleg setup while i wait for the peerless hds tweeters to become in stock. Are there any other tweeters that anyone recommended/ had experience with that they feel would be a good 2 way setup with the sea excel mids. The peerless seemed to work well because they are capable of being crossover relatively slow since the excels have heavy breakup around the 1200 area. From all the research and reviews ive heard about the peerless they seem almost untouchable and i want something that is similar quality and performance and also price range. Thinking of getting 2 sets of Diamond Audio's s600s (6.5" comp with the silk tweet). How is the mid bass and how well does this set take that 170rms rating? Looking to keep up with 2-BTL12s. One set in the doors and the other in the kicks. Both pairs of woofers would be sealed in its own glassed enclosure just big enough to fit the woofer.

I think I am going to run either two 15" Audiopulse Revos or 4 12" AP Epics. What do you all think? Any other suggestions? Either will PROBABLY be run sealed off of a zx2500.1.

So there's way too many new products coming out and I don't know what I want to try. I want a good clean sounding system, but I'm a bit of a bass head and do like to crank the bass. I have a Q12 sealed in my other car and like the sound and how low it goes, but I want to look at other things. I drive a Magnum and could get two 15's or something big no problem, but other than lots of bass my goal is to stay low profile so I still have cargo room AND i'd like to keep the spare. i hate to sound like a major noob but everyone knows how mainstream subs suck ass compared to the i guess u could say "underground" brands like fi. i was wondering when it comes to perfect door speaker quality...whats some kickass midrange speaks?

Hey guys, looking to upgrade soon. I just got my Sundown SAZ-1500 in the other day, running it at 2 ohm on 2 Memphis M-Class 10's ported and Its not very loud at all. I was looking at running 2 12's possibly ported. Or maybe 1 or 2 15's in Sealed enclosure. It's going in the back seat of a Toyota Tacoma x-cab so I dont have alot of room. I need subs that I can run the pair at 1 ohm. I originally was thinking of either 2 Fi SSD's or 2 Fi Q's. I looked into the SI Mag's but they would put me at .5 ohm and I'm not doing that. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

I have 2 kmg-15D's. They are dual 4 ohm, 15" subs. I don't have any specs for these subs. If anyone has any T/S numbers for these subs, I would greatly appreciate the info!!! I need enclosure info for these speakers mainly. These subs were built somewhere between late 1998 and 2000. I need sealed and vented enclosure measurements for enclosure size, for sealed, and enclosure size, and port area/tuning for vented. Please!!! If anyone knows anything, let me know!! Curious again about subwoofer recommendations. Whats up peeps. Im in the market to upgrade my current system (well atleast the sub). Running a 15"FiQ, 3.5cuft 30hz, off a crossfire vr1000d. I love my sub SQ is great and hits suprisingly hard for an SQ sub, just that the output level just isnt cutting it anymore. Thought about adding another Q but space is somewhat an issue, dont want to cram dual 15's and not get the most out of them. So im looking for a replacement. I want to stick to a single sub setup. So im doing a 3 way setup with either the CDT ES 07 and the Peerless SLS or the Hertz Hi Energy 165 (6.5) and HV200 (8) So which do you think i would like more and would have the best SQ

Alright I would like to ask all of you by experience what do you think about the comparison? I have 2 12w7's running off a 1000/1 soon to buy another 1000/1. What do you think, I know that the btl subs have high spl but chit on sq. Say that both systems have 2000 watts of clean power running to them which one would have a more db's.

been digging in on the system some and have discovered the original plans of the sls 8" isnt going to work just due to the sheer diameter. Need some recomendations on a badass 7" midbass driver to be mounted IB in the front doors with a max depth of 4". These will be running active with Seas W12CY-001 4.5's and Seas 27TFFNC/G tweets mounted in kick pods. looking in the area of 200-250 per driver to be the high end. Front stage is to be powered off 2 Sundown 100.4's to allow for flexibility of more power to the 7's by bridging the one running them for more output if needed. Thanks in Advance
