About to add a full Treo system to my 2000 Buick LeSabre. Is this good to go with because I listen to alot of Chopped and Screwed music? Subwoofer: 2 TSX 12 Mids and highs: TS 6.5 Amps: Solid Audio F20 and F29

ok so ive had my comps in for about a week now and today i just now noticed that there are holes in the door from the stock speakers.Would that be messing with my sound quality at all cause there are like 4 holes around each mid????

Right now i have one 12 inch w6 off an alpine mrd 1005 with the settings set very low. I am thinking about either getting another w6 and running it off that amp or getting a single 12 or 15 inch Q or BL and pushing everything to them with that amp... orrrrr getting 2 12 inch Q's with another Amp. I really cannot decide. Would the 2 w6's have better SQ but less SP then the 2 12 Q's. Any opinions and experiences with these woofers would be great. Thanks

Hey guys, I was wondering which one of these two subs would be better for me. It's either the 18" Xcon or the 18" Nightshade. Only $50 difference between the two right now. I'm going to get two. Probably get powered from a saz-3500d. If no deal on another amp comes around. Main goal is to do hair tricks and shake other vehicles at comps. Thanks.

Hi all, just trying to get to grips with all of this series and paralel wiring stuff. I am looking at buying a set of 4 100W continuous load speakers for my car (at the standard 4ohm). I understand now that if you wire these in a parelel circuit you will be able to use a 2ohm load for them. The amplifier i'm looking at says it powers 2x95w at 2 ohms. So if i wire 2 speakers up to one connection on the amp will it power both speakers at 95w or send 95w to split between the speakers. I dont know if i need a 2x200w at 2ohms or if this amp is perfectly capable. Just so it helps explain the parts im looking at, i'll provide links to them to see if anyone can tell me if im goin…

what do you guys think about these two subs? im looking to get a pair. of either i like both sealed and ported boxes. which is a more all around sub lows and highs. which can give better hitting lows? and can take a beating. i have a saz 1500d that ill be using at 2ohms

So I'm really considering picking up two 12" RL-Ps for the new car. I've been reading through the forum here and it seems like people have nothing but great things to say about them. Add that to the fact that they have relatively small ported enclosure recommendations, and you have piqued my interest. The old system was 2 12" Infinity Reference subs (sealed) with 300W on each in a Cavalier. Sounded like crap, but at least I had some bass. I have said goodbye to that car/setup almost a year ago now and I really need something in the new car. I still have to measure the trunk to figure out how much space I want to give up. What do you guys think i should go with and why or wat do you guys suggest? The amp im planning to get is a sundown saz1000.1d the box im planning to put the sub in is a 2.25 at 32hz. The music I listen to is trance/hip-hop. Nothing has been ordered/made so what do you guys think i should go with. I want something that can get loud and still sound good. i just got my friend sold on buying a magnum. i was wondering that would hit lower and sound better, a ported 12 incher d2 or sealed 15 inch d2. he wasnts awesome sound quality and wants t hit low well. and hit. the 12 would be ported tuned fairly low, like 20-30 herts i assum

So according to 12volt subwoofer wiring diagram I can wire two 2ohm DVC subwoofers to either 0.5 ohm OR 2ohm I can also wire only ONE of those subwoofers to 1ohm My question is, if I want to stick to 1ohm using those two 2ohm DVC subwoofers Can I just wire EACH sub to 1ohm, then run them to the amp each SEPARATELY from each other so that I keep 1ohm resistance? I have a Sundown 2000D

I just got my magnum in the mail today . I put it right in my box (2.1 @29hz) and wired it up to a brutus 1000 at 1ohm, put in some sublime and wow .I've never had a sub before so this if my first install. I've only heard other kids at my high school and the only one that even comes close to this in loudness and sound quality is a kid w/ a 12L7 in a less than 1 cube box and it's still not as loud. This may not be the right place to post this but if anyone has this amp has any ideas what to set my amp settings at, that would be wonderful. There's Subsonic 15-36hz, bass eq 0-18, lowpass 35-250, and the level/gain 9v-.2v. Thanks.

Hello, first real post. Planning an install for my resto-mod 79 Camaro. Would like opinions and any expert advice on some parts selection and install. First my Head unit is a Pioneer DEH-X8800BHS. So far I have the following amps on hand: Rockford Fosgate R300X4 and Alpine A2-S60M. I also have a pair of Polk MM692 6x9 full range tri-axial speakers. I was going to use these in the rear deck with a set of Focal 165 V20 6.5" 70W RMS Polyglass Series mounted in the doors with angled pods. Hello all my daily ride is a mercedes clk 230 Kompressor and my setup is two jl audio 12w6v2 sealed off a jl audio 1000/1.... very good SQ and output level not bad but............. i want morrrrrrrrrrreeeeeee So i'm interrested by Fi audio ! i can make a box of 3.5 cu ft maximum (volume net) a Fi Bl15 ported in a 3 cu ft tune to 32-34hz seem to be a good thing!! the 15" will be powered by my 1000/1 (1100-1200wrms) i think upgrade my amp soon and take a 2000wrms good choice? What do you look for in an SQ sub? What t/s parameters and such makes a geat SQ sub. Now I know that SQ is subjective, but most companies make an SQ geared sub. As a buyer, what should we look for in this type of sub?

I'm thinking about replicating the sub enclosure created by Jmelan over at DIY mobile audio for my 2002 4Runner. Does anyone foresee any difficulties or performance issues for the RL-i8 with this type of enclosure in a side-firing alignment? I wonder if a larger driver (Fi Q 10/12, ICON 10/12, RL-i10) wouldn't be in my best interests.

in a truck, i used to run 3 memphis pr 12's in a ported box around 40 htz. the subs were awesome, i loved them, but since i can't put all 3 in my new car's truck, i'm looking for a new pair of subs that will give the memphis' a run for their money. i've done some reading on the diamond audio d3's and liked what i've heard so far. a few people said they slammed, but mostly i've heard a lot of compliments on their sq. well it's all good w/ the sq and all, but i'm looking for something that'll straight up S L A M !! will these do the trick in a box ported around 35 htz? and if you have any suggestoins that's cool too... i'm buying off of e bay, so i'd like to keep it around…
