I was wondering sence I will not have time to learn how to glass while home, if someone would build them for me? I am obveously willing to pay. Just let me know how much. J

I disconnected my speakers and was listening to my sub by itself and I noticed that I could slightly hear some words. Everything sounds good and you cant hear it when the speakers are connected so I was wondering if this is normal. Thanks in advance for any help.

Have spent some time in my car, tuning frequencys and adding/removing sheep wool from my 1"cuft box now. And the result is outstanding from what I can hear. The tight snap from the D2 really compliments the sound from my BA PRO 4.5 & 6.5 components. Slammed in Eric Claptons "best of" cd, listened to some Metallica, Korn, Toccata & fugua and a lot of other stuff. The only conclusion I can come up with is that this is by far the cleanest thing I've had in my trunk; I borrowed a sealed RF 2112 and hooked it up, and man what a difference in sound in comparison to the D2, blurry and with no thump. The Kappa Perfect I tried next sounded much better than the RF, but coul…

  5. Hoping to get the powerbass 15 inch sub and power it with an audiopipe apsm 1300. As you can tell it's a budget bass project. but are there any better options for the same price or less? Or does anyone have any come tsunami about the amp or subwoofer? Any experience with this equipment?

I want good mid-bass and very clear sound to go with it. I will be ordering a SAX 50.4 to power them. Budget no more than 300.

in a truck, i used to run 3 memphis pr 12's in a ported box around 40 htz. the subs were awesome, i loved them, but since i can't put all 3 in my new car's truck, i'm looking for a new pair of subs that will give the memphis' a run for their money. i've done some reading on the diamond audio d3's and liked what i've heard so far. a few people said they slammed, but mostly i've heard a lot of compliments on their sq. well it's all good w/ the sq and all, but i'm looking for something that'll straight up S L A M !! will these do the trick in a box ported around 35 htz? and if you have any suggestoins that's cool too... i'm buying off of e bay, so i'd like to keep it around…

Well for the MAG is going to be going into the 3rd box in 3 weeks.....mistakes on my part....I am deadly with a tape measure!! it is in 1.1 cubes sealed right now....but i am going back to ported...output suffered too much for me So i took measurements like 3 times to make sure it will fit....the box is going to be 34L x 15H x 10D which equals 2.18 cubic feet......as you can see i want this box to be as thin as possible cause i want to save as much trunk space as possible So going by those measurements and then add in the port and driver displaement.....port is 13.5 tall by 1.5 wide and 24 inches long which equals .28 cubes so after all displacements i am guessing it will…

My birthday is in July and I'm trying to decide what to do with the money I get (yes, I'm 30 years old and still get money ). I do know that I want to upgrade sub/subs, but I'm not quite sure which way to go. Budget will be between $200-$250. Not sure if I could swing $300, but it's a possibility. I've got 600 @ 2 ohms to work with. The main thing is I'd like to keep the box size down as much as possible. I don't want to go over 2 cubes total, and even that's pushing it. So, I'm thinking either 2 8's or 10's in a small sealed box, or a single 10" or 12" ported. I'd love to try a 15" since I've never run one before, but I don't want to choke it down into too small…

I just had two of the DD1508 subs installed in my trunk and am absolutely amazed at what they are putting out. These frigging subs pound and sound like (2) 12's. has anyone else had the pleasure of running these same subs and if so any comments on the way they performed?

I have an AQHDC315 d1. wired to a AQ 1200.1 at 0.5 ohms. I am thinking about getting a second 1200.1 and bridging them. The question is will making this upgrade be significantly louder to the ear. I know its hard to say because it always depends on box, setup, installation, etc. but I am just trying to get an idea.

I am looking for a pair of 12" subs to be powered by a pair of ma audio hk802sx amps. 1 sub per amp. Years ago i did the same thing with two boss pd4000s and two power acoustik mofo 12" subs. It was a very loud setup and i am trying to beat that intense feeling that setup gave me. My money has grown up so i have better amp and sub options now. Please give me some options and real world data? Thanks...Cee.

  17. alright, just got a new car (96 accord LX coupe), and I am putting most of what I already got as far as equipment goes into it, but need a new sub. right now I have my DEH-P600UB in my rocky with the rear channels of my 475a powering a really cheap audiobahn (AW1051 I think) that I found from a long time ago in a sealed box thats around 2 ft^3. its wired to 8 ohms so there is only about 90 watts going to the sub now, and its not crazy or anything but it is (was) a decent amount of bass for what it was. anyways I started hearing it make a horrible sound at higher volumes, the surround is actually torn about 1/5 the way around now. I am planning on using the same amp but ge…

So I just ordered a couple IDMAX 12's. I had heard your not supposed to give them the whole 1000rms each. So my question is how much do the like? Im thinking of throwing them on a Sundown SAZ 1500 @1ohm. Im guessing about 750rms a piece. Would that be pushing it or should I be fine? Also I was wondering if anyone here has experience with these subs and how do you like them? Have you hit good term lab numbers with them? I know they are SQ subs but i know they can get loud too.

I currently have an Alpine type r 15 on a kicker zx750.1. I have it in a 3.75ft net box tuned to 35 hz and it gets pretty loud and sounds decent. My choices of a new sub were a SSA Icon 15, FI SSD 15, and an AA Choas 15. The new sub would go into the same old box but now run off a T1000-1bdcp. I want to know which sub would sound better off my amp. I want it to be louder than my type R and sound good as well.

I'm still trying to decide what I want to do for my summer build. I want to try a multiple sub setup (3 or 4) just because I've never had more than two subs before. Anyway, I found this simple calculator: http://www.carstereo.com/help/Articles.cfm?id=26 When I put in the parameters for the subs I'm looking at, I use the suggested Qtc of 0.707. With every sub I've tried, this gives me an enclosure volume a little larger than I'd like to use. I noticed in the "note" that you can use a Qtc of 0.9-1.2. When doing this, it brings the enclosure size down significantly. My question is, what are the drawbacks and advantages of not using the suggested Qtc of 0.707?

They have language that state are "new in box", "never opened" etc.... I'm skeptice when it comes to buying electronics on line but these are speakers,.....but still concerned. What's your take? Any experience? If so, any references? Thanks for the help! E
