Subwoofers / Speakers

So i blew my morel supremo's.. 440$. Nice. Anyway what other tweeters are out there that sound great but are cheaper. I was on madisound and was looking at other morel drivers. The tweeters are so much cheaper then what i paid for these supremo's. I still want to get them but they are expensive and now i am questioning if they are worth it. Any tweeter recommendations would be appreciated. I am running a pioneer 9800 headunit off a sundown 100.4 amp. My mids are SEA excel's.

What is the displacement of this sub? I heard .40 cubes others are saying .15

Its getting closer to that time, where the monies is almost ready for installation I ran a search, but didn't find anything. I figured its because they're spl subs, but what would you recommend for this bad boys on a daily setup. Thanks mark and anybody else that contributes.

i got just bought a four re sx 15's from a guy at work after i hooked it up but something about it i dont like so im selling it as soon as i get back home its in a caprice but anyway do you guys think i should go with four ported 12's i think they will fit or two ported 15's? im looking at the btl twelves or the t3 tss twelves what do yall guys think?

I've given serious consideration to selling my D2 12 and purchasing a 15. At the moment, however, I would only be able to throw 460 watts rms at the thing. My 12 in a 2 cube box at 28 hz gets louder than I ever need it to with that many watts but will the 15 respond the similarly? I do plan on upgrading to a 1000 watt amp sometime in the future but it wouldn't be for at least another couple of months. I would probably put the 15 in a 2 -2.5 cubic ft sealed box, but space really isn't an issue. Any help at all would be greatly appreciated! Thanks! Mike

hey guys need some advice here am look for 2 12 that will be playin off a 2000 bxi hifoinc. in my price range am loolin at a pair of DCON 12D4 or a pair of IA 187 12d4 which one would be a better buy????thanks

I am getting two of whatever I choose, but since I burn my money quick I am getting one now and one next week. I am looking to purchase some new subs. I dont want anything larger than a 12. what suggestions do you guys have. I want a pr of 12s that will be super loud for a daily driver. I am tryn to get as loud as possible with just 2 12's. space or power isnt a issue.

Want to run SIX in my Tahoe, looking to maximize space. Two in each quarter panel, and two in a center console between the front seats. Whatcha recommend? And looking for an amp that will run @ .67ohms all day long, about 1500 watts RMS. If I run dual 4ohm coils (or single 2ohm), I'd need (2) amps to push them.

Ok so I *finally* got my Bravox order. The part shipped via UPS got here quick. The USPS part... not so much. I was getting worried cause they were 4 days past due but they showed up today. I see the midrange and the tweeter are pre-mounted in their respective housings with the really nice aluminum trim rings, etc. But.... how do these babies come apart? Do they come apart? They have to come apart otherwise I am screwed. The plan is to mount the tweeters in the factory locations in the mirror trim pods and the midranges next to the midbass drivers in the door. What is there to expect? Will it be the same as a mag, only fitting the lower price bracket? i sold my friend my old pioneer ts-w3002d4 subs and a hifonics bxi2006d amp ... i had 4 of these subs wired for 2 ohm in my car (didnt feel like waiting a month for the d2 ohms) and i had them facing up in a sealed box and the excursion was great on them even with roughly 1300 watts at 2 ohm ... we built a ported box tuned to 28hz facing the trunk and now the subs barely move at 1 ohm with 2000 watts powering them ... why is this? i checked the ohm load and it is indeed 1 ohm

hey, just wanted some input as to shipping these solo x 18s.... i was thinking on doing something very simular to ssa shipping ( plywood on top and bottom, 2x4s on each side) inside of a big cardboard box. what do u guys think? dont tell me there gonna be alott$$ to ship.. i know this lol buyers have agreed to pay full shipping

I've was looking at the SI BM to use in a behind the seat install, but they don't seem like they will be ready in time to order. I don't have much experience with shallow mount subs. Just looking for some other options for brands. I want something that will work best in a ported enclosure. Don't have an amp picked out yet, so power will be determined after sub is picked. This is for my GF's younger brother, so it doesn't have to high end. I'll be building the box to fit behind the seats of a pickup. So, not much room. Any suggestions would be great. Thanks!!!
