I have a question.. Just brought a AU-SPL 12 dvc 4 ohm.. I see is that only connection to 2 ohm amp.. Is there a way i can connect to 1 ohm amp from dvc 4 ohm single sub?

I am getting ready to install comp set off of an amp. Is 12 gauge speaker wire the correct size to use for this? Or is there a better choice

hi, which sub has better SQ and which one sounds louder i don't want just SPL i want SQ to using them on a sealed box... what you think of both brands?

does anyone know if they will fit in the front doors using the 6x8 adapters? Depth is going to be the issue. I want good comps bc im not going to be able to have great subs in there. im pretty much decided on those or RF T1's

Ive already purchased 1 of 4. Im about to buy the rest when i get the money. Im powering them with a solid audio 2500d, they are dual 4's so it will throw me in .5 ohm, which is pushing around 3kw for me. Question im having is, what size should i make the enclosure. Many have told me to do 5 cubes. Im limited on space, but i want pure SPL, i SQ just isnt my thing, i want numbers only. What would you guys suggest?

i have a 2006 bmw 325i (e90) which has the battery in the trunk. i want to know how i can connect my 2 12's and 2 amps to the stock headunit? or would i have to buy a new headunit such as pioneer alpine etc.??? plz if any1 has a BMW and has connected a system to it, let me know how.

Ok, so I'm about to have some graduation money and I'm thinking about starting my new setup. I would like to go with a single 10" this time though, and go ported still I believe. I think the amp of choice will be an orion 1200D. So let's say I have a max of $350 to spend on this sub. My box right now is 2cubes net, I'm not sure how much more space I could get, I could go longer but I would have to go down in how tall the box can be. so just keep all those factors in please.

I'm going to attempt my first door pods. There not going to be down low and the bottom of the door like most. Mine will be up a little higher. My question is, whats the best way to face them??? Should they (6.5" mid & 1" tweet RE's RE comp set) both (pass & driver) be angle up towards me? Or the one on the pass. side angled towards me, and driver towards the pass.? :confused: Or what other suggestions would you recommend?

I finally got myself a better sub, a RE Sx12. I have the recommended box sizes from RE, but I decided to play with WinISD a little and noticed some big disparities. RE recommends 1.5 cubes at 33hz for a compact box, but WinISD seems to want a 0.75 cube box with some crazy port lengths. Am I doing something wrong, or is WinISD just weird? I followed WinISD's instructions and the parameters it calculated seem to match up with what RE has provided. RE also suggests a 2.0 cube box at 35 hz... Can anyone point me to an info page that spells out what effect ported box sizes have on output? I'm expecting to have to build a few different boxes to get things perfect, but how bet…

Are these any good? I found a local shop with some FNX1514's and FNX2514's brand new in the boxes and some Fanatics amps as well. From what I can tell these are older Fosgate but I don't know much about them. What is a good price to pay for them? Should I get them?

i currently own a FI SSD15 that i have in the back seat of a 2006 tundra. i dont have enough room for an optimal box so the box is currently about 2.5cuft tuned around 31hz. i have mad a ton of different box designs and i currently can not go any larger on the box so i was woundering if i would gain volume by reconing to a ssd12? any thoughts or advice?

so what kind of out put are people getting with the 15" IXL sub what kind of DB's are people getting? I have a MJ-18 (not a MJ-18M the old MJ-18) and I would like to try some thing new right now im doing about 140/143's I would like to be able to do 145 and but sound good to I just dont know if it would be louder so I'm just trying to get a idea of what people are doing..FYI I dont think 145's will be to hard b/c I have a civic hatch back O and im not asking "will it be louder" that's a newbe Q Im just curious as to what DB's you are getting

Hello everyone! Was wondering if people could help me. I currently have the following... 2 12" JL Audio W3v2 2ohm 1 Rockford Fosgate T1000.1BD I built a 3.5 cu/in ported box for them and they sound fine. Problem is the box is the wrong dimensions for the 2008 Civic Si Coupe. My current available space is.. H = 15" W = 37" D = 18" preferably smaller Those are the MAX dimensions that will fit in my trunk. I am not worried about the opening to the truck as I will build the box in the trunk if I have too. What I am wondering is if anyone has a box build that would work for the SA 12's that would work for my Civic. Just need the outside box dimensions and port dimensions …

I'll be upgrading my system next summer but I'll buying the gear over the winter so come summer it will be build time. I need help pick out subs and some components speakers. As for what vehicle its going in, I'm not sure yet I'm planing on buying a second car also next summer. I'm just trying to have all the gear ready for when I do buy a car, but most likely will be a 2 door car as it will be my car to go to work mostly. I have decided on the amp I will be picking up over the winter, Crescendo BC2000d for the subs and C1100.4 for the mids and highs. While working on my build yesterday a question came up that I couldn't answer. The question was "what's the visible difference between the DC subwoofer levels? I had no answer because I didn't know. Does anyone know the visible difference in these subs? Also how do you know what version of the coils the subs have visibly? To clarify this is not a question of handling power or sound, but simply put visible differences. Thanks guys.

I've been looking on getting a better speaker set up for my 2002 4Runner, and with my knowledge (beginner) I figured the easiest thing to do would be getting a comp set and wanted to see if you guys could recommend a company or an actual set! I'm not super worried about pricing. I don't need anything cheap because I'd rather have quality products, but at the same time my ABSOLUTE limit would be $1500-$2000 though I'd like to stay under that. My car comes with 4 mid speakers and 2 tweeters, though most sets come with two mids so I wouldn't mind getting two more down the road. I have two 12" SSA ICON subs behind what I'm getting so fully support the lows already. …

has anyone had any issues with the dustcaps? my zcons cap just flew off today outa no where. im assuming because it was plastic? im not sure but the subs have a fresh recone kit less than 2 days old and bam. i was kinda pissed blaming the recone first but it was so eaily fixed im not considered at all. nothing a littl 2 part epoxy couldnt handle! anyway just wanted to see if anyone else has had this issue

I was just getting ready to design a new box for my D2 and noticed that Stereo Integrity and the D2 are no longer listed as of BassBox Pro version 6.0.18. They used to be, but I installed the latest patch bringing me up to version 6.0.18 Pro and I can't find it listed to save my life. Anyone else missing it as well? Strange that they would remove it. I don't want to have to enter all of the data manually
